Chapter Twenty-Three

We all finished breakfast with the agreement that me and Nikkos would go back home and Adrian would collect the rest of the stuff we needed. I tried to offer a different arrangement but Adrian was worried about us being out too long. Especially now that we know that we somehow know the enemy. It made it clear why having me dead would be an urgent matter because it would expose the person to everyone.

Although it was still hard to narrow it down to just who it was because there were many gods who disliked me and many gods who knew me. It had to be someone that would know that I was in the Underworld and someone who knew that my family wasn’t so fond of me.

“Thinking about who it could be?” Nikkos broke the silence once we reached the house.

I nodded, “Yeah, I don’t wanna waste time not thinking about it. I want this all to be over with.”
