chapter 8: you can't be serious?

Next day: new venue

So we had our interview today, and I got in my cut off arms, leather jacket, I had my tattoos exposed, and did my hair in a messy ponytail, and wore my skinny jeans, and a pair of flip flops. But I woke the guys up and they got ready and we headed over to this tent. It was pretty big, but it was a guy interviewer. And I saw skylar and his band, and we sat on the other side of the person. But this is what happened.

Interview

" hey guys so today I am here with broken mind and shattered soul. They are on tour with black veil brides, but how are you guys?" We said, good, " so I am just wondering Haley. When you played at download main stage, are you okay I heard what happened. But what happened?" I sighed, " well I was nervous to be honest, really. Just it was really new to all of us, but I think it hit hard, for me. And well my nerves took over from shock and well I face planted to the stage."

I saw Nikki and axel trying not to laugh. I rolled my eyes, " okay, I can understand, I think most performers have some nerve with that, and well I understand what was going on. So this next question is for Katlin, how long have you been touring, since I think it has been a few years now?" She nodded and said, " i have been on tour for about five years straight. And I honestly love it, I get to see new places, and hang with bands and my brother." She leaned against skylar, and he then said, " yeah, she is my crazier side." She laughed.

I think that is cool, but the next question was a little touchy, " okay this next question is for all, so I know tour just started but is there anyone back home or any looking?" I laughed and kept my mouth shut, but most said they had a girl back home and Kaitlin had an eye out but I get that she didn't say, which is totally fine but I seen that throughout this whole interview so far she has been giving Damien a few looks here and there.

But I heard my name being called, and I said, " what? Sorry I wasn't paying attention for a moment." They laughed and he asked, " so what about you Haley, anyone back home or are you looking?" I blushed and said, " no, I want to spread my wings before I have a chain."

But there was a few more questions then we finished, and I was walking back to my bus, and before I walked in I heard Jake ask, " so let me guess you like skylar?" I blushed and said, " no. Nevermind?" I went to my bunk and I heard the guys laughing. I ignored them and read my book. I am a big bookworm I can't help it. It is what I do in my free time.

Two weeks later

So we are two weeks into tour and it has been really fun, I finished my book about two days ago, but I have been hanging out with skyler for a little while, and well he is a almost identical copy of me. We like the same things, same bands, and well we both hate fake, cheaters. But I got his number and well we have been texting back and forth, but tonight I want to ask him if he wants to do a cover with me. So I got my phone out and texted him.

Conversation: Haley and skylar

H: hey skylar.

S: hey Haley.

H: can I ask you something.

S: sure what's up?

H: so I was wondering, so tonight shattered minds set, you know how we do a cover, I was wondering if you would like to sing angel eyes with me?

S:....sure that sounds fun. I will see you tonight. Later Haley.

I locked my phone and blushed, I felt like a burning firecracker right now and I had to start getting ready so I wanted to wear a dress, and I had the perfect one. It was my black Victorian velvet dress, it was knee length but I was alright with that. But I put that on and grabbed my demonia boots. They are super comfy. So I did my makeup and it was kind of based off ash costello angel eyes look. But I love her style.

I did my hair in a fishtail braid. I just learned how to do that. But I got done and walked out and the guys are getting better with getting done faster. And not taking forever. But I told them, " hey guys, so tonight our cover will be New Year's Day angel eyes. And skylar is going to be singing with me tonight. So is that okay?" They smiled ear to ear, it was like they knew something. But we walked over to the venue and broken mind was finished up. And they walked off and skylar said, " good luck." Then he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I blushed like mad then I heard a familiar voice, it was angelic so I knew. I turn to see Andy and ash. I, it took all of me not to fangirl like an idiot. But I tried to use my words, " h-h- hello." They laughed and said, " hey, so Andy here was wondering, sorry it is last minute but he was wondering if you would like to sing in the end with him." Andy said, " you do know that I could of asked her?" Ash laughed, and said, " Andy you were dozing off into space probably thinking about Juliet." I smiled at his comment.

But I said, " sure. That would be fun. But we have to go. So we will see you later." We walked on to the stage and our first song was caged virus. We posted a auto track to YouTube. And all of our social media accounts, and we got thousand views in a day. So that was good. But we got through our songs then we got to our cover. And I said, " so this next song I am gonna need a little help with so. Please give a warm welcome for skylar." He came running out and we started to play, he is really good, but I will say this in my head, he slightly reminds me a little bit like Andy and Chris motionless. I think it is funny but we finished and the guys gave him a nod, and I was about to walk off but the guys grabbed me and put me back over by skylar.

So he just had this adorable big dumb grin on his face. I had to ask, " okay what is happening right now?" Skylar laughed and said, " Haley, I talked with the guys and I am guessing you would like an explanation of what's going on right now?" I looked at him like no s**t. But he continued, " Haley, I know we have been hanging out for a while now. And I have gotten to know the most beautiful, funniest, adorable girl. But we have gotten to know each other and well I wanted to ask you this. Haley from the first day we met, I felt fireworks go off. I knew you were perfect. But I am now going to get to the point." He got on one knee, " Haley will you be my girlfriend?" Okay this was so f**king adorable.

I think this is the most sweetest thing any guy has ever done, but I nodded yes, and gave him a hug, he picked me up and I was giggling and walked off stage. He set me down and I asked, " so did you guys know about this?" I asked them and they looked around then dj said, " yeah. You were hanging out with him and he explained his plan to us and we approved." I smiled and i saw Andy, and he said, " so are you still up for it Haley?" I nodded and bvb walked on, an skylar asked, " so I take it you are singing a song with Andy?" I nodded yes, " okay. Well I will be over here, being proud of my new girlfriend." I smiled and he gave me a kiss. It was so cute. And this has to be the perfect moment.

But after a few songs, Andy said, " alright, everyone sing it loud and proud, here we go." He started to sing and then said, " Haley come out." I ran out and we started singing. I looked over to skylar every once in awhile. He was dancing around. I think I heard him scream, " that's my new girlfriend." I tried not to laugh. But mentally I did. But we finished, " thank you. Goodnight everyone." Then the lights went out and we walked off stage. And skylar gave me a hug, " you were good Haley." I blushed and said, " thanks, and Andy thanks that was fun. But I am now out of breath." I laughed and I was Bantu to walk when I felt skylar pick me up bridal style.

Okay this has to be the perfect night. I had on this tour. I have a boyfriend. Touring with my friends, and two amazing bands. This couldn't get any better.
