chapter 10: home for the holidays

So it was Halloween and well I got to spend time with sky. And he and I have this cute nicknames for our contacts. Mine for him is joker with two green and two purple and for him it is Harley. And red and black. But I think it is cute and so I got the date wrong. So my calendar was switched, the American Halloween is Friday. So we got off tour Tuesday. And I got home late. But Wednesday I got a text from skylar saying he wanted to take me to a haunted house tonight. So we had a few around here and I thought okay, I will go but I am going to do my makeup and dress in all black. And well this was what happened.

My offutt: black broken mind shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, with sewed red fishnet under it. Black jacket. And my demonia boots.

I love my demonia boots. But I did my hair and I was thinking on dying it again. But I didn't know what to do I remember that I said, I wanted to do a galaxy look. But I changed my mind and I wanted to do a black to red ombré look. So it would be black on top and to red in the bottom. And I wanted a new tattoo. I was in need of a new one. But we had to go to New York for a week. And so did broken mind so I think it was a meet and greet at comic con. But that was in a week.

But I wanted to do that before we went. But I texted sky, and he said, that his cat was in the shop,so I rented this. And I wanted to buy one and I was really thinking on it but for now I have my mustang. But I went to pick up sky and he told me the directions. Then told me the directions to this haunted house. Once we got there I heard a chainsaw and girls screaming like babies. It was hilarious. But I talk with the people. And the last time I went to a haunted house I almost scored a date with one of the scream workers. And he was in makeup, but I met him when he had it off he was cute.

But we got there and it was our turn to go through and there was no jump scares, but these people were freaky, and I was completely fine but sky, not so much. I was trying not to laugh but I did it mentally in my head. But we got out of the maze then we were starting to get tired, and I heard his stomach growl, and it was kind of cute, so I asked, " I take it you are slightly hungry?" He blushed, and they had popcorn so we got one. I wasn't really hungry but he munched on that. We stayed for a little while and went on the hay ride. And there were no clouds so, all we could see were stars.

I smiled and putt my head on his shoulder then he put his head on mine. It was cute. But after a while we went back to my car and I was about to get in but he was in my face and I did have one question, if he is part vampire does that mean he still has to have blood? But i asked, " sky, you okay?" He smiled and said, " can we talk in the car?" I nodded and he gave me a kiss before he got in. And I got in as well.

But after we got in he sighed, " Haley? You know how I a, part vampire and part siren right?" I nodded. " well the only bad thing is I can eat real food, but every once in a while I have to have human blood." I sighed and said to myself, I might regret this later. But I looked to him and said, " I have a weird feeling I am going to regret this later." He looked at me and well I bared my wrist. And he looked at me like what the hell are you doing? Kind of probably what was going through his adorable head.

But he said, " Haley? I can't." I rolled my eyes and said, " well you said, it yourself. Every once in awhile you need human blood right?" He nodded, I continued. " well I kind of want to be a support for you. So I am your girlfriend and part blood donor." He looked at me like what the f**k. I motioned my eyes and he hesitated for a moment. Then he grabbed it and I will admit. I never thought I would be doing this, feeding a vampire siren. Yes I know I watch the originals and cami said that. But I do not care skylar is my boyfriend. And I want to be there for him.

But he paused for a moment. And I swear I was about to get my pocket knife out. I was nervous. And afraid. But I trusted him.

Skylar's pov

I knew Haley was trying to help. And I explained to her that every once in a while I needed blood. And I was shocked by what she was doing. But I wasn't completely sure. But I grabbed her wrist, and forearm. I could hear the blood pumping through her veins. And I saw the exposed flesh. It has been about a year since I have fed so. I was wondering how I should approach. But I didn't want to hurt her.

Haley's pov

I was becoming more and more weary. But I said, " one moment." I grabbed my pocket knife from my glove compartment and opened the blade. I only keep it because of emergencies. And well I was thinking on doing this, for him. He show explained I think telepathically, " Haley it has been a year since I have done this. Just please don't get hurt." I smiled a little. And I took a deep breath and quickly ran it through. It stung a little but I had napkins with me. And my bandana. But I put pressure under my arm a little to make a little blood flow over. But I saw skylar bare his fangs and I moved my wrist back over to him and I looked away.

I was nervous, and I saw out of the corner of my eye him moving closer. Then I felt this striking pain, but it was like a million bee stings continuing over and over again. His grip got a little tighter. And then he pulled away. I grabbed my bandana and wrapped it around the fresh bite. I put pressure on it and he whispered, " thank you." I nodded and well I waited a moment but then went back to his place to drop him off then go home.

It was Tuesday night and I was tired, one lack of sleep. Two trying to get back to normal sleep schedule, and three, blood loss. But I was slightly use to it, considering that women have to go through this horrible thing I call a red headed step child. And it is a total b. But think that this night was different. And well I am glad I got to spend it with my boyfriend.
