Logan and Rogue bolted out of the mansion, Wade's note still fresh in their minds. Logan's senses were on high alert as they reached the garage, scanning for anything they could use to catch up with their runaway son. His gaze landed on a sleek black motorcycle parked in the corner.
"Ain't that Scott's bike?" Rogue pointed out, a sly grin forming on her lips.
Logan didn't respond, just grinned. It was Scott's bike, all right. And taking it felt like a small, satisfying act of revenge, especially after what he did to his son. His lips curled into a smirk as he swung one leg over the seat and revved the engine, the deep rumble of the motor sending vibrations through the floor.
Rogue climbed on behind him, arms wrapping around his waist. "Ya think he's gonna be pissed?"
Logan gave a throaty chuckle. "Let him be. We've got more important things to worry about right now."
He gunned the throttle, and the bike shot forward like a bullet, leaving a trail of dust behind as they tore out of the garage and down the driveway. Logan's eyes narrowed, focused solely on the path in front of them. Wade was out there, and they were losing time.
The wind whipped through Logan's hair, the scent of the forest filling his lungs as they raced along the winding roads. Rogue held on tight, her heartbeat drumming against his back, matching the thrum of the engine beneath them.
Logan's mind raced faster than the bike. He was furious— not at Wade, but at himself. He should have seen this coming. Something inside him knew something was off; there was no way Wade wanted to run away after some bad scolding from Cyke, of all people. No, he was smarter and stronger than that. No way.
As they rounded a sharp bend, the scent of burnt rubber and twisted metal hit him hard. Logan's instincts flared as they came upon Wade's car, now a wreck, smoke curling from the hood. He skidded the bike to a halt, gravel crunching beneath the tires as they dismounted.
"Shit," Logan muttered under his breath, taking in the scene.
Rogue's voice trembled. "Logan, where's Wade?"
Logan's sharp eyes scanned the area, picking up faint traces of Wade's scent—and something else. Three other figures, one of them unmistakably smell like Sabertooth. He crouched beside the wreckage, running his hand over the torn metal, his nose twitching as he tried to piece it together.
Rogue's face paled. "They took him, didn't they? They took my baby!"
Logan stood, fists clenching. "Yeah, but we're getting him back."
-
Somewhere out of the sea, The Brotherhood's Hideout.
"Nice cribs, very homey," Wade quipped sarcastically as Sabertooth shoved him inside after Magneto bent the cell bars. "Do I get a mint on my pillow or just the complimentary ass-kicking?"
Do you think this is five-star hotel?
(Ask if there is a pool too! I want to swims! Or a hot tub! Its freezing here!)
Mystique rolled her eyes but chose not to respond. The groaning of someone in the back of the cell drew their attention. Senator Kelly, battered and bruised, was starting to wake up.
"It seems the senator is still not feeling well," Magneto said after checking Kelly's condition. "I'll attend to him after we make some adjustments to the plan."
"Ooh, roomies!" Wade said cheerfully. "You really know how to treat your prisoners!"
"Have you ever fucking shut up?" Sabertooth demanded, bewildered.
"I DID! Once! It fucking bombed at the box office, tho. I'll have to thank Ryan Reynolds for making me could talk shit again—hmmph!" Mystique slapped a cloth gag over his mouth.
"Mmmph! Mmphh!" Wade's eyes widened in frustration, visibly upset at being gagged by Mystique.
Did they ever learn that it was better to not shut you up? The one that did never end up well.
(They did once, and now it became the highest R-rated grossing movie ever. They really should have listened more!)
"Much better," Mystique smirked. "He's still not quiet; Ugh, whatever, let's just go." The three of them left after Magneto bent the cells again to be closed.
Once they were completely gone, Wade wriggled his wrists free from the cuffs and removed the gag. He had coated his skeleton with adamantium metal while near Magneto to mask his true power and make the Brotherhood believe he was limited to his father's abilities. He needs to have his cards ready afterall.
"Ugh, kidnappers, am I right? So, what are you in for? Tax fraud? Corruption? Pedophilia?"
(Pedophilia, he looks like someone Epstein would hang out with!)
He is a politician, so it could be…
"You could break free that easily after all this time?" Senator Kelly looked on, astonished. He still looked weak, having just woken up, and was clearly scared when Magneto checked him before.
(Did he wet his pants? Or Is he happy to see us?)
I think he piss out his pants when Magneto went to check on him earlier.
"Yeah, nothing can restrain me anyway. By the way, you look really familiar. Are you on the Epstein Island list by any chance?"
"I am Senator Robert Kelly. You've got to help me!" Senator Kelly pleaded with Wade.
"Ew, I know who you are. You're that one idiot who pushed that idiotic idea about the Mutant Registration Act. No way, dude—I'm a mutant, y'know!" Wade refused. "But I could tell you about the time I wrestled my uncle bear; it's not easy, when—"
Are you ever gonna tired telling that story again?
'Nope! It a best form of torture and I really like it!'
(It is a good story tho, the plot, the teamwork with our siblings! I also like it!)
Senator Kelly's despair was evident after Wade rejected his request and now had to listen to Wade's ridiculous story. He banged his head against the bars. Then, his head slipped through the bars. Shocked, he pulled it back and tried again. This time, his whole head slipped through.
"Ewww, ewww, triple ewww, gross!" Wade exclaimed, laughing. "Do it again!"
(He really became that gross thing like the movie, eww)
Senator Kelly managed to wriggle out and almost got thrown into the sea but held onto the cliffs.
Wade looked over, grinning. "Oh, you did it! Turns out you're a mutant too! They did say the most homophobic people are actually still in the closet; I guess that applies to mutant phobia as well."
I think he need help?
'Nah he could fend himself off! I also don't want to hold his hand! Ew!'
"Help me! Help me! Help me!" the senator cried out.
"NOPE! Don't wanna! You are mean!"
"PLEASE! HELP ME! I'LL REWARD YOU! I'LL DO WHATEVER YOU SAY!"
(Well, he did say the magic words, you'll have to help him now.)
"Okay, wait a minute!" Wade said, pulling up his baggy clothes to reveal his costume and backpack beneath. He pulled out his wooden katana and began poking the senator from the cell. He intentionally poking his face and his finger.
"Ouch, not like that! Just pull me out! I don't wanna die! Stop it! STOP! PULL OUT!!!"
(Kinky…)
Bracket, I think you need to be in jail.
(Kinky…)
…, I hate you!
"But I'm not done yet! I don't want to pull out! I want to have fun too, y'know!" Wade kept poking the senator, seeming to enjoy himself a little too much. After a while, he sensed that Magneto and Sabertooth approached, and coated his skeleton with adamantium again.
Magneto bent the bars on the other side of the cells and began speaking loudly. "How are you feeling, Senator? Advanced, I hope? Sabertooth, grab the boy; I need to test something—"
Magneto's voice trailed off as he and Sabertooth noticed the unusual sight. To their surprise, they found Wade was bending over near the bars of the cell that faced the sea, seemingly poking something.
Magneto, using his powers, controlled Wade's adamantium-coated skeleton and removed the bars. He looked through the hole and saw Senator Kelly clinging to the rock wall.
"What have you done to me!" Senator Kelly yelled loudly after seeing Magneto laughing looking at him.
Magneto laughed. "Senator, this is pointless. Where would you go. Who would take you in, now you one of us?"
Sabertooth tried to pull Kelly back up, but his hand slipped, just like Kelly's head had before. Kelly screamed and fell into the water, causing Wade to laugh hysterically.
"Tell my parents to wear the spandex costume I made them, or I refuse to get rescued!" Wade yelled after the falling Kelly.
Again! Your priorities man!
Magneto, enraged by the commotion, looked over at Wade. "What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything this time! Scout's honor! The guy just became slippery for some reason!"
(You are not a scout! We never signed up for scout!)
"Slippery? It seems the experiment worked. Come on, boy, I need to test something! Pull off your clothes!"
"Ew, no! You're an old man, not my type at all! Are you on Epstein Island too? Is that why you knew that guy? Am I your next victim?!? I am—" Wade was cut off as Magneto placed a bar of iron over his mouth.
"Hmmph? Hmmlph!"
(Ooooh, kinky!)
You sick motherfucker! AGAIN?!?!?!?
Magneto removed Wade's gloves and began touching his hands. He felt the pull of Wade's power before coating his hand with a biomagnetic shield. Wade's eyes widened as he felt Magneto's power surge over him. It seemed that his power didn't instantly kill people who had stronger will or were more physically fit, but it did drain them even with a slight touch.
'Owh, we are not that OP… no instant kill anymore, figures that the author will eventually nerfed me!'
(To be fair, the only guy we actually see drained from our power are only Skinny Wick, and he kinda in the bring of death already,)
I think this is good, we could actually train with our powers now without looking into more bad guys to practice!
(We could still use the bad guys… more fun that way!)
"It seems the boy inherited his mother's power as well, and it's quite more powerfull too. We can proceed with the plan even with this. Let's go, boy. You seem more useful than you look!"
-
Logan slammed the door behind them, his face set in a scowl. Rogue followed closely, her breath coming in quick, shallow bursts. They found Cyclops adjusting the Professor's wheelchair, which had clearly been tampered with, while Xavier, Storm, and Jean discussed strategies.
"Xavier!" Logan barked, his voice cutting through the calm of the room.
Xavier looked up, his expression shifting to one of concern as he took in their frantic appearance. "Logan, Rogue—Is Wade okay? Tell him I'm not angry about the little pranks he played this morning. I even found them quite amusing."
Scott looked disapprovingly. "Professor, you shouldn't take this so lightly. You could have lost your mobility! And after all, this is a gift from—"
"We need your help," Rogue said urgently, cutting off Scott. "Wade's been kidnapped. We think it's by the Brotherhood, the same group you warned us about."
"Most certainly! Follow me!" Xavier said, his tone shifting to urgency.
A few minutes later, Xavier, Scott, Jean, Ororo, Rogue, and Logan entered a secure, dimly lit room. The walls were lined with sleek, metallic panels, and a large, circular platform dominated the center. At the heart of the room stood Cerebro—a colossal, futuristic machine with a bridge leading to it.
Xavier turned to Logan and Rogue with a solemn nod. "Welcome to Cerebro. This machine amplifies my telepathic abilities, allowing us to track mutants across vast distances. Each mutant's brainwaves are unique, which helps us locate them."
Rogue's eyes narrowed. "Why don't you just use it to find Magneto then?"
Xavier's expression grew serious. "I've been trying, but Magneto has found a way to shield himself and his surroundings from Cerebro's detection."
Logan's brow furrowed. "How would he know how to do that?"
Xavier sighed. "Because he helped me build it. Now, if you'll excuse me…"
He carefully placed the Cerebro helmet on his head. The machine hummed to life, and its lights flickered with a soft, otherworldly glow. After the others exited the room, Xavier began the search.
Outside, Logan turned to Jean. "Have you ever used Cerebro?"
Jean shook her head. "No. It requires a degree of control that I don't have. For someone like me, it's… dangerous."
Moments later, the door to the Cerebro room opened, and Xavier emerged with a somber expression. "I'm sorry. I couldn't find Wade. There's something blocking me from locating him—most likely Magneto's doing."
Rogue's face tightened with barely restrained anger. "You can't find him? You're telling me you can't track my son with that Cerebro of yours? What the hell is going on?"
Xavier looked down, clearly distressed. "Wade's disappearance is unlike anything we've encountered. The shielding Magneto has in place is likely interfering with Cerebro."
Logan, pacing angrily, shook his head. "This doesn't make sense. Wade's smart—too smart to just run away and get kidnapped. The suits he left us… there's something more going on here. He's planning something."
Rogue and Logan exchanged a determined glance. "We need to find him ourselves," Rogue said firmly.
Storm stepped forward, her expression a mix of concern and determination. "You can't do this alone."
"Who's gonna help us? You?" Rogue retorted. "So far, you've all done a bang-up job."
"Then fight with us," Storm urged.
Logan and Rogue were resolute. "We don't want to help a world that hates us," Logan replied firmly. "They've already done this to our family. We don't need any of your help when escaping one of their facilities."
"Then fight for Wade," Storm pressed. "He idolized you both. He even made you suits that suit your style better than our uniforms."
"Heroes, huh? Some heroes we are," Logan said bitterly. "We barely remembered him and his siblings. He escaped, rescued his siblings, and still wanted us to be his parents. We've failed him as both heroes and parents. Come on, Rogue."
As they opened the door to leave, they were confronted by Senator Kelly. His appearance was disheveled, his face etched with fear.
"I'm looking for Dr. Jean Grey," he said weakly before collapsing into Logan's arms.
-
Senator Kelly lay in a bed in the infirmary, his body burning up with a fever that seemed to intensify by the minute. His strength was visibly waning, his breaths shallow and labored. Jean, Cyclops and Storm stood by the bed, their expressions tense and worried. Rogue, Logan, and Xavier were also present, their concern palpable.
Jean examined Kelly, her face etched with worry. "I can't explain it, but he's a mutant—or at least, he's somehow become one."
Xavier's eyes narrowed. "What's his mutation?"
Jean shook her head, troubled. "He's extremely adaptable. He can change the shape of his body. But something's terribly wrong with him. His cells are losing their integrity. They're literally falling apart."
Xavier approached the bed. "Senator Kelly, my name is Professor Charles Xavier. This is my school."
Kelly's eyes fluttered open with recognition. "For mutants…"
Xavier nodded, his voice gentle. "Yes."
Kelly's voice was barely a whisper. "I was afraid if I went to a hospital, they would…"
"Treat you like a mutant?" Xavier finished, a note of sympathy in his voice. "We are not what you think. Not all of us."
Kelly's face twisted in pain. "Tell it to the ones that did this to me."
Xavier placed a reassuring hand on Kelly's forehead. "Senator, I need you to try and relax. I'm not going to hurt you."
Kelly's eyes were half-closed, but he managed to utter, "Before I pass out, there's a mutant boy detained with me. He said something about his parents needing to use some suit to rescue him. He's still in there. Help him."
Rogue and Logan tensed at the mentioned mutant boy, with Kelly descriptions, it must be certainly Wade.
"Relax, Senator," Xavier said soothingly, his brow furrowed in concentration as he delved into Kelly's thoughts.
-
The X-Men—Cyclops, Jean, Logan, and Rogue—were gathered in Xavier's office, a somber atmosphere hanging over them. Xavier stood by his desk, looking grave.
Xavier addressed the group. "This machine emits radiation that triggers mutations in normal human beings."
Jean's face was etched with concern. "But the mutation is unnatural. Kelly's body is rejecting it. His cells began to break down almost immediately. It'll most likely kill any normal person exposed to it."
"What effect does the radiation have on mutants?" Cyclops asked, trying to process the information.
"There appears to be none, but I fear it will harm any normal person exposed to it," Xavier confirmed.
Rogue's voice was tinged with frustration and worry. "So what does Magneto want with my son?"
Xavier's expression grew troubled. "I don't know."
Cyclops, trying to piece together the information, interjected. "You said the machine draws its power from Magneto. That it weakened him."
Xavier nodded. "Yes. In fact, it nearly killed him."
Logan's eyes narrowed as he began to connect the dots. "He's going to give his power to Wade and use him to power the machine."
"I'll try to find Wade. Cyclops, you and Storm ready the jet. Rogue, Logan, do you want to wear the suits Wade made you or our uniforms?" Xavier began giving orders, his voice steady despite the urgency of the situation.
Before Rogue or Logan could respond, Storm burst into the room, her face ashen. "Senator Kelly is dead," she announced solemnly.
A heavy silence fell over the room as the gravity of the news sank in. The tension was palpable as everyone absorbed the shock of the senator's death.
Xavier's expression hardened with resolve. "I am going to try to find Wade again," he said firmly. Without another word, he turned and exited the room, heading straight for Cerebro.
For y'all older siblings, have you ever noticed that your siblings suddenly became an adult? My little brother call me this morning that he wanted to join the marines, I told him that the marines didn't accept any snotty 13 years old boy then he told me that he was 18 already! I was shocked to the core! I don't think I was that old already!!! Is this one of Wade or that Demon Cat schemes?
