I See Kenyaaa! A Mighty Chihuahua!

The wind howled through the trees, carrying with it a biting chill that cut through the night. Wade, Ken, and Laura trudged through the snow-laden forest, their breaths visible in the freezing air. The sun had long since dipped below the horizon, leaving them to navigate the dense woods in near darkness.

"We need to find shelter soon," Wade muttered, his voice low but firm. He kept a sharp eye on their surroundings, ever vigilant for threats or opportunities.

You could've thought about shelter before blowing up our trailer, you know?

(But Isn't it really cool, Eh? You gotta to admit dude!!!)

"Hey, how was I supposed to know our master escape plan would go boom?" Wade grinned, shaking off the inner voice's criticism. "Besides, explosions are cool!"

And now we're freezing our butts off, genius.

(Let us have this Though in Bold Text!)

"We'll find a place. This forest can't go on forever, right?" Wade said with unwarranted optimism, trudging through the snow like he was on a fun expedition.

Ken, clutching Laura's hand tightly, looked up with wide eyes. "Wade, hungry…"

"We'll find something to eat soon," Wade reassured him with a thumbs-up. "First, we need to get out of this wind. Maybe there's a cave or a cozy treehouse nearby."

I don't think someone actually crazy and stupid enough to build a treehouse in Alaska. Let's just go look at some caves.

(I mean, we could go and became the crazy motherfucker who build that!)

But that takes fucking days! We also need to go back to that rest area!

Wade hummed a tune, utterly unfazed. "Come on my brethren!!! Adventure awaits!"

As they pressed onward, the trees cast long shadows across their path, and Wade felt a familiar prickling on the back of his neck. His instincts flared up, alerting him to the presence of something—or someone—watching them.

You sense that?

(Uh oh, stranger danger!!!)

"Yeah," Wade replied, eyes scanning the forest with playful anticipation. "We're not alone. Maybe it's friendly elves!" Wade said cheerfully, hoping to not scared his siblings.

(Didn't I just warn you stranger danger!!!)

He messed up in the head didn't you knew? I don't think he listen to your warning!

Suddenly, a low growl echoed through the trees, sending a shiver down Wade's spine. The pack of wolves materialized from the shadows, their eyes gleaming with a feral hunger. The leader, a massive, scarred wolf, stepped forward, his lips curling back to reveal sharp fangs.

"Whoa, cool doggies!" Wade exclaimed, genuinely impressed. "Do you guys want to play or something?"

(Oh! They just wanted to play! Fiuh, I thought we're gonna be eaten alive!)

They clearly want to eat us, you fucking idiot!

"Eat us? Oh no, we can't have that!" Wade said with a laugh, drawing his on of his katana in one hand and claws in the other hand.

Are you sure you gonna fought like that?

(I mean, we can be too wolverinery afterall!)

The wolves circled them slowly, their growls resonating in the cold night air. Wade took a dramatic stance, his katana gleaming menacingly.

(Here we go! Time to show this fucker what we're made of!)

You guys are a fucking lunatic!!!

The biggest wolf lunged first, a blur of fur and fangs, aiming for Wade's throat. Wade sidestepped with an exaggerated twirl, his katana slicing through the air with theatrical precision. The wolf yelped as the blade nicked its side, and Wade gave it an apologetic grin as his claws stabbed the wolf groin.

(Ouch, that's low!)

Well, he came for a surprise neutering, wait, is that a real word?

"Sorry about that! You can't eat us; we taste terrible!" Wade shouted, darting around like a cartoon character. "Plus, I'm a bit skinny see! Not good at all! No meat!"

(Yeah! Only bones! No meat! YOHOHOHOHO!!!)

Wrong fandom you fuckers!!!

The pack attacked in a frenzy, but Wade was ready as fuck. He bounced around with an uncanny agility, his katana and claws working in tandem as he fought back the onslaught.

Blood sprayed across the snow as Wade's katana found its mark again and again, each strike calculated and ruthless. The biggest wolf still standing and clamped onto his arm, its teeth sinking into flesh, but Wade shook it off with a goofy grin, his healing factor knitting the wound almost instantly.

Ken watched in awe as Wade battled the biggest wolf and his pack, his heart pounding in his chest. Laura clung to him, eyes wide with a mix of fear and fascination.

"He's so cool…" Ken whispered, unable to tear his gaze away from the fight. If this was a cartoon, his eyes are bulging with star drawn in the middle of his pupil.

(Oi look out, behind you!)

The warning came just in time. Wade spun around with an exaggerated leap, claws extended, slashing at a wolf that had tried to flank him. The beast yelped and fell back, nursing its injuries.

Wade pressed his advantage, using his katana and claws in tandem to keep the wolves at bay. His movements were fluid, a dance of death that left the wolves bloodied and retreating.

Finally, Wade faced the biggest wolf once more. The creature charged, teeth bared in a final, desperate attack. Wade met it head-on, katana slicing through the air with precision. The wolf fell, whimpering, its will broken.

Wade stood there panting, looking around at the fallen wolves with a mix of triumph and confusion. "Hah! That'll showed them, right?"

The remaining wolves hesitated, watching their leader fall. To Wade's utter confusion, they lowered their heads in submission, acknowledging him as their new leader.

"Uh... why are they doing that?" Wade asked, scratching his head. "Are they... following me now?"

(OH! You're their alpha now! They respect you!)

Why do I felt that this gonna be our biggest headaches?

"What? I thought they were just hungry!" Wade exclaimed, bewildered. "I don't speak wolf! Do I?"

Breathing heavily, Wade surveyed the scene, ensuring the wolves wouldn't attack again. The adrenaline slowly ebbed away, leaving him with a sense of grim satisfaction and confusion.

"We did it," Wade said, turning to Ken and Laura with a laugh and hold them to dances. "I guess we have some new friends!"

Safe for now, at least. But we need to keep moving.

Wade nodded, sheathing his katana and gathering Ken and Laura close. "Let's find somewhere to rest. The wolves probably knew something. Should I ask? I kinda their leader, right? I probably could speak wolf?"

Well I hope so…

(Well, it's worth a shot, What's the worst that could happen? They tried to fight you again? Yeah right!)

"Okay, little buddies, lead the way to a cozy cave or something," Wade called over his shoulder, half-joking, half-hopeful. To his surprise, one of the wolves, a sleek gray female, took the lead, glancing back as if to make sure they were following.

Well, that's new. Should we just trust her?

(Why not? She looks pretty nice for a wolf. I mean, she didn't bite us, right?)

Ken and Laura trudged alongside Wade, their footsteps crunching in the snow. Laura clung to Wade's arm, her small fingers gripping his sleeve tightly. Despite the cold, her eyes were full of trust, her earlier fear slowly melting away.

As they moved deeper into the forest, the wolves trailed behind them, their eyes filled with newfound respect for the strange human who had bested them in battle. Wade tried to keep the mood light, entertaining his siblings with jokes and playful banter. The wolves, now a curious entourage, followed at a respectful distance, their presence both reassuring and surreal.

Do you think they really know where to go?

(Beats me, we don't really have much choices)

Wade shrugged, a lopsided grin on his face. "Only one way to find out. Besides, it's better than wandering aimlessly, right?"

The gray wolf led them through the forest, weaving between trees with ease. Wade, Ken, and Laura followed closely, grateful for the guidance. The howling wind was a constant reminder of the harshness of their environment, but the wolves' presence made it feel a bit more manageable.

His thoughts were interrupted when the gray wolf paused, turning to face them with a low whine. Ahead, the faint outline of a cave entrance loomed, partially hidden by a cluster of trees and rocks.

"Bingo," Wade said, flashing a triumphant smile. "Good job, Lassie!"

Lassie? Really?

(Hey, it's a classic!)

"Let's check it out," Wade suggested, motioning for Ken and Laura to stay close. The wolves remained on the periphery, their eyes watchful but unthreatening.

The cave was surprisingly deep, with enough space for the three of them to find shelter from the elements. Wade scanned the interior, checking for any signs of danger before leading Ken and Laura inside.

"This should do for the night," Wade said, his voice echoing softly off the stone walls. "It's not the really homey, but it beats freezing our butts off outside."

Ken and Laura settled in, grateful for the respite. Wade set about gathering some dry wood and kindling from the surrounding area, mindful of the wolves that continued to keep watch.

With a few sparks and some coaxing, Wade managed to get a small fire going. The warmth was a welcome relief, chasing away the chill that had settled into their bones. Wade opened one of their canned food that he managed to saved before in his backpack before giving it to his siblings.

"You guys doing okay?" Wade asked, glancing at his siblings as he adjusted the fire.

Ken nodded, his expression more relaxed now. "Sleepy." He said exhaustedly.

Laura, ever silent, nodded too, her eyes reflecting the dancing flames. Her hand reached out, touching Wade's arm in a gesture of gratitude.

As the fire crackled, Wade felt a sense of calm wash over him. Despite the uncertainty of their situation, they were together, and that was what mattered most.

"Let's get some rest," Wade suggested, leaning back against the cave wall. "We'll need our strength for tomorrow."

Ken and Laura settled beside him, their exhaustion evident as they closed their eyes. Wade watched over them, his senses attuned to the forest's sounds and the wolves' occasional movements outside.

He wondered how far they had to go to truly be safe, but for now, the cave was a haven, and the wolves—strangely enough—were allies of sorts.

(Wow, we're really like a family here.)

And a pack, strangely enough!

"You know, this might be the start of something good. We just have to keep going, we should try to find any vehicles after this. Maybe the wolves kinda knew where the nearest road is?"

Wade chuckled softly, he then wrapped an arm around Ken and Laura, pulling them close as the fire's warmth enveloped them. They were curled into his arm and like a cat purring softly. They stayed like this until the sun rise tomorrow morning.

Ouwwwh, looks at how cute they are! Next chapter is a love story! a short ones! maybe a little bit of smut? Well, I can't write smut so probably not...
