Chapter 1

The first rays of sunlight illuminate the room. The chorus of the dawn of the melodic singing of the birds started to drift.

8:00 AM! " Beep, Beep, Beep, Pause, Beep, Beep, Beep, Pause, Beep, Beep, Slapdown"

Rubbing his bleary eyes, walking towards the window. That's a Pearly glowing day, satisfaction and excitement evident by the manifestation.

At the kickoff of another day, John looks outside and yawns.

"hmm... yaaaa... "

Turning his head and looking at the clock beside his bed and noting the time and feeling traumatized.

"What the heck, it's already 8 am. Boss gonna kill me. "

Comprehending it, he ran towards the bathroom, to get ready.

[8 AM Pizza Meal, New York]

Parking his bicycle outside the shop, before entering the shop he watched his reflection on the glass and adjusted his hairstyle. His looks are attractive and his height should be six feet. He has a black short side and long top hair, diamond face shape and well-curved eyebrow, wearing an L-size blue t-shirt superimposing the logo of his restaurant in the pocket, black pant, blue cap, black shoes.

Dustin rushed inside and found all the workers were busy serving the customers.

The girl with a ponytail hears and a cheesy look wearing a yellow cap, a red t-shirt having a logo, black pants, the black short heel sandals, is sitting in the reception of 'Pizza Meal'. Looking toward the entrance when Dustin enters and asks him.

"Dustin, why are you so late, Boss Walker has been looking for you. He seems to be very angry ".

Hearing that Dustin's expression turned pale, he was already scolded by the Boss yesterday due to his late delivery to one of their regular customers.

Hearing the commotion caused by the reception girl and Dustin, the Boss noticed Dustin's presence.

"Look who is here, is it not Mr Dustin Blaze, you finally decided to show up. You lazyass".

The Boss was a black African American who has recently been transferred to the New York branch and does not have a good impression of Dustin and does not let go of any chance to humiliate him.

Seeing the Boss coming toward him he felt anxious.

"I am sorry Mr Walker it will not happen again."

The Boss looked at him for a movement and told him to follow his office.

"Follow me"

"I am sorry…. Mr Walker", said Dustin with a shaking voice, but Walker ignored him and took out the attendance book from his locker and placed it on the table, do you know what it is?

This is the attendance book of the employees it has already been a week since I have been transferred here and has been noticing you. According to the record, it's already the eighth time you have been late to work. If you continue to be late I am sorry but I have to fire you.

Hearing that Dustin Blaze tumbled and started praying for his faults and securing his job by clarifying.

"Mr Walter, please forgive me, it should be my last mistake, I need this job because of the situation in our home, which is not good, please Mr Walter ".

Mr Walter sighed and looked at him with sharp eyes.

"Ok, but this is the last time. Go to your work and deliver the orders in time, I don't want to hear any compliance from the customer or your wage will be deducted to make up for the loss".

"Don't worry Mr Walker it will not happen again I promise."

Saying that Dustin respectively felt the office and took a deep breath to calm himself. He knew that he had barely escaped from losing his career.

He got a delivery order from East New York, Brooklyn. He collected the orders and put them into the delivery box and locked it, started his bike and was ready for delivery.

He gives the orders, at every gate and door and at the right time, he knocks on the door and says.

"Pizza Meal, I bought your order "

After delivery he always says.

"Thanks for order in Pizza Meal, please order again and have a nice day "

After delivering the orders he remains the last order to deliver, and he arrives at the location where he has to deliver the last order that is an Artifact Shop (Old is gold).

He stood outside the door of the shop and ringed the bell hanging on the top right side of the door.

"Anyone? Mr Yin Fa I bought your pizza delivery from "Pizza Meal"," Dustin asked politely.

An old man opens the door and asks him.

"Yes! What you want",

Dustin replied politely.

"Sir, it's a pizza delivery from "Pizza Meal", that you ordered".The old man replied.

"You are late, young man, I will complain about it".

He frightened out and said in a fearful voice.

"It's all because of traffic sir, and you know about New York traffic?"

The old man says.

"Come in and wait in the reception. I will pay for you."

When he checks the drawers, it is empty.

He asked him to stay here and warned him don't touch anything.

He gets inside the room which is attached to the reception of the shop. And Dustin starts waiting but he can not control himself after looking at the artefacts.

He checked out the artefacts and old books. And small steps and went to a small room, we're many artefacts and boxes are arranged properly in the drawer but suddenly he looks at a box which accurately reflects him badly. And he starts to feel queries about that box, we want to know what the mysterious object is on it. He stands in front of the box and opens it and found a silver bracelet with a polished metallic grow with two peacock heads at its two end loop and embroidery with a red blood gem in the middle surrounded by golden feathers with four dialling knobs which look like knob used in waist watch to adjust the time.

"What kind of bracelet is this? Is this an artefact? It looks like the person who made it had quite a weird artistic sense.

Curiously, he picks it and begins observing the small red crystal which seems like the only thing valuable in the entire bracelet suddenly it opened automatically causing him to almost screamed in tears. When he heard the sound of footsteps and with hurry placed the bracelet to its original place and turned back.

And he thinks in his mind.

"Oh shit, he is coming back".
