Synopsis

“You are destined for great things, child. Doom is a great thing.” Aithne is a sweet and adventurous free spirited girl, but she’s also a noble princess of the Megorian regime. Her and her twin sister, Katherine are as thick as thieves, though with often contrasting personalities and beliefs, they would die for each other. The century long war against magic has finally ended, though the magic-borne continue to be persecuted, there’s finally peace across the continent of Bermiizhe. The ancient prophecy about ‘The Curse’ is known only to a few who have long forgotten its existence. Minds have become comforted with the facade of peace the people now thrive under, but their blanket of comfort is about to be ripped in the middle. The fire has begun to rage and rumble underneath Aithne's skin. It's begging to be unleashed. Like a volcano on the brink of eruption, it bubbles underneath her skin and goes unseen. But Aithne is a gentle soul, though rebellious with a knack for breaking rules, the princess is adored by all. This treacherous evil couldn't possibly exist within her. But the evil exists. ‘The Curse’ has finally begun to manifest, and the kingdom of Megor is at the brink of a civil war. It's almost naming day, and the next ruler of the West lies between the princesses and their uncle who's the rightful heir to the throne according to the laws of the land. The King is at an even greater war with himself. His decision could be the start of a revolution but he has to make the right decision even if it kills him. Betrayals and treachery, mixed right in the middle of a far greater evil continue to lurk within the walls of the palace, and the fate of the world rests unknowingly on Aithne's shoulders. But the evil isn't planning on staying hidden. It's brewing, bubbling, waiting to erupt. The Circle of Five are planning something sinister. The evil brewing within the walls of the Western Megorian palace must be stopped before it grows big enough to swallow them all, and they would do anything to stop it. Or rather, to stop her. Trigger warnings: -Violent speech/actions. -Very explicit descriptions of murder. -Depictions of suicidal thoughts/tendencies. -Non-explicit gore. -Explicit descriptions of a horrific birth.

I hate that you pulled a 5 star review from me. Better then I expected from the Synopsis. Aithne is a wonderful character who I can relate to. The world building worried me at first, but I found myself being sucked into this new world without realizing it. This last chapter (11) is something that I only half-expected. You never know with this genre. I found no visible mistakes with the writing quality which already gets you bonus points. Not sure on stability of updates, but more chapters are required. Seriously, I want like 10 more chapters tomorrow. The story development hasn't had time to settle in, but it seems to be progressing well. Characters are well thought out and feel like real people. The World Background is kind of lengthy in the first chapter, but this is fantasy and thus expected. For webnovel format I would suggest using smaller paragraphs. It is hard to get used to, but necessary in this format. That way it will be easier to read from a glance. Author good job for restoring my faith in good stories on this website.

Alright, Hi there! Didn't think I'd be doing this, but here's me leaving a sort of review on my own book. 34 chapters in and I finally think it's time for me to do this. First thing I'd like to make clear, is the fact that this book is a Dark Fantasy novel as opposed to what genre it's put in on the app. Webnovel doesn't have the dark fantasy genre option so I put it on the cover instead. This book isn't fantasy romance even though my MC is a female. There is a bit of romance however, but we don't get to that anytime soon as it is not the main focus. Another thing I'd like to point out is the fact that my writing style can be very different from what you're used to seeing on here but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give my works a chance. A few people have complained that there are too many info-dumps in some chapters but I'd like to remind you that this is a Fantasy novel, therefore everything I share is paramount to my world/character-building and nothing is "unnecessary" Furthermore, because my writing style isn't vey typical to the standards of webnovel, it may seem as though my writing is "draggy" but if you're an avid reader of normal books, you should understand. However, if you're not, I'd like urge you to please just be patient and keep reading. I promise you won't regret it. Lastly, to my loyal readers and everyone that's been supporting this book so far, thank you so much and I love you! Thank you again everyone and I hope you have an amazing day/night :)

First of all, the writing quality and grammar of this novel is almost flawless, I read and only spotted a few mistakes which can easily be fixed. The story itself is very immersive, the author tries her best to convey exactly what’s happening. The descriptions and imagery is all A-1, very good, especially the first chapter. The genre of the story is dark fantasy which I am a huge fan of so that was another plus I liked. Not gonna lie after chapter 1 I was a bit confused with the POV switch but I caught on pretty fast. The world buidling is also another good thing with this novel, just off of the words and phrases the author makes sure to use, I can tell she had thoroughly planned and sketched out the story’s background. The chapters are a little on the long side but there bearable. All in all, a good book, I’ll be saving this in my library.

The first chapter was fire, but the second was mind blowing... It felt like I was reading a different story. lol The pov change, but that's not a problem if you know how to read novels. The second chapter felt a bit fake and too rushed, a few minor nobility errors can always be worked on though. A few grammatical errors, but you can always revise those. Your biggest mistake; was not allowing your readers to connect to your FL, you sent us into another story in the second chapter. I really had to read the second chapter twice to understand what was going on? FL, I think she's our heroine and comes back in chapter 6, which I didn't like as it could make readers lose their connection with the story. You kept adding unnecessary details that weren't really necessary, but still you portrayed the emotions well, I could feel every one of them. The story itself is unique, with interesting abilities and the plot stands out in my opinion as it's not a romance novel, I liked it. I'd advise you to cut some paragraphs but everything else was great. 🦋🦋🦋🦋

So the Characters are fleshed out. That is the first thing, aside from that I have always been intrigued by the idea of making potions and how do they work. There is however a couple of changes I would recommend. The first is to cut down big paragraphs which makes it harder to read. The second is to not use pronouns excessively. Apart from that, I don't see many issues with this. Great writing!

Lorem Ipsum errr, I don't remember the rest so let's move on. The story paints a vivid picture of the world where the action takes place. Through the usage of the tiny elements of the world, the author instantly immerses the reader into the rich in flavour world of his creation. I really hate speaking about the plot as I believe everyone should try it themselves. Despite that, solidly written cliches and relatively standard openings allows me to peer into what possibly this novel have in store. Execution of the further plot is what I'm actually curious about, as I have a feeling that it will exceed my expectations on this one. In the end, I cannot really say much about the story. It's a solid piece of the literature that promises a tasty piece of webnovel down the line. Now it's up to author to live up to the promises his/her chapters give.

An extremely powerful story. I absolutely plan to stick with this series as I enjoyed the world-building, loved the Ireland setting, and was intrigued by all of the secondary characters.

hmmmm.... I'm going to be sincere. you caught my attention from the first chapter. I love the expression of emotion. the only down side I see, is probably the fact that the paragraphs are too bunched up together. maybe you could break the longer ones down a little. so it could be easier on the eyes.

I'm giving you a five-star review because... One, the introduction was capturing, two, your English is perfect... like 99.9% perfect. Third, the story background is great. I don't give out reviews but yours deserve more than one. Hoping to see more of your creativity. AND......PLEASE MORE CHAPTERS!!

10 chapters in and I am already hooked. The culture and world building is perfect and the pacing is great! From the prologue to the first chapter, it has me trying to figure out the mystery while also dying of suspense. Great job and keep up the good work! I love the twist in the latest chapter!

Perfect development in both the characters and stories, amazing grammar (which I seldom find these days), and a hooking plot overall. I wasn't expecting much at first, but after reading through the chapters, I became more and more sucked in. The only small complaints I have are the bunched paragraphs (it makes it a bit hard to read through) and a few writing errors here and there, but that's pretty much nothing. Besides that, a perfect book. I truly hope you continue with this! I can't wait to read more of your writing :)

This book is definitely a piece of art! It was written beautifully with no chance of grammar mistakes. The storyline was really great and the end of the first chapter broke me. Poor MC...
