Heroic Deeds
Now finally understanding the system a little bit he wanted to be certain that it was similar to the novels he read and the games he played. "status" and just like he predicted a familiar screen appeared in front of him.

While carefully reading through his stats he sees that his highest stat "stamina" is 8 and his lowest stat "strength" is 6. After reading through his stat he stares at his strength stat and wonders "why the hell am I so weak and why is my stamina so high". After accepting his own stats he takes a look at stat points and instantly knew what they were. He pressed "stat points" on the screen in front of him and another screen instantly appears.

After reading the screen he answers "yes" and another screen appears.

Now that Evan knew he could strengthen his body by altering his stats with stat points he started thinking about which ones would be the best to strengthen but before he could choose he heard several foot steps running towards him. Thinking that it could be more goblins he instantly stood up and picked up his sword while staring towards the direction of the foot steps. To his relief it was the people who had survived the goblins attack, seeing this he sat back down on the floor. There seemed to be only 6 people who survived out of the approximate 20 people who all made it on the roof.
"Did you kill them all" asked one of the survivors, "are you okay" asked another one. "I think I killed them all but there could be more of them still in the building and other having a deep cut in my arm and completely exhausted I'm okay". One of the survivors walked over to Evan and knelt down beside him "you said you hurt your arm right, show it to me". Evan was a bit hesitant but considering he just saved their lives he feels that they wouldn't do him any harm so he reluctantly shows her his right arm revealing a deep cut on his fore arm. She placed her hand on Evan's arm and a green light appeared on his wound, then all of a sudden a screen popped up in front of him.

"That's a nice gift you have uuuh", "Rachel, the names Rachel", "thank you Rachel". "I should be the one thanking you, you saved all of our lives", Evan still had to take in all the stuff that had just happened to him in such a short amount of time. He almost died, gained a system that allowed him to fight back the goblins, almost died again and finally killing all the goblins saving their lives.

"I healed your wound as much as I can but with my level of gift I can only do so much". Evan looked at his arm to find that the bleeding has stopped and the wound was completely closed. "Thanks for healing my arm Rachel", now slightly blushing the survivor named Rachel replied "it's the least I can do to someone who just saved my life". Evan stood up and picked up his sword and looked down the staircase of the building knowing that their could still be goblins in the apartment building he thought what would be the best move for he can't make rash decisions anymore because he now has the responsibility of saving these people.
One of the survivors noticed Evan looking at the staircase with the intent of possibly heading downstairs he asked him "hey your not seriously thinking about heading down the stairs are you, their could still be monsters down their let's just wait up on the roof until the hunters arrive". Evan looked at the guy and thought what he said was true, waiting on the roof for the hunters would probably give him and the group the best chance of survival but he couldn't let the chance of possibly gaining exp slip away. "You guys can stay on the roof and wait for the hunters to show up but I'm going to head down to the lower floors to try to and find some survivors but don't worry I won't let any goblins get up to the roof" although it was a good excuse it questioned Evan's humanity, the real reason he wanted to head down the building was to kill some more goblins and gain more exp.
Being born as a weakling with no gift and always being treated horribly he had always wanted to get stronger but there was just no way for Evan to close the gap but now things were different, Evan now has the system which can infinitely make him stronger being able to close the gap that Evan sought for so long. When the few survivors heard what Evan said they all agreed and all went back to the roof, now Evan was alone and could now focus on his system "status" a familiar screen appeared.

Just like he had expected the amount of exp he needed to level up has increased now making it harder for him to level up, "f***" he said inside his head. He then remembered he finished a quest and got a Item from it, "inventory" a familiar screen appeared in front of him and now taking a closer look he finds that he has 3 item in total. He already knew about the sword but didn't know about the other 2 items in his inventory, he clicked on one of the square box containing what looked like a yellow credit card and a screen with the description of the item appeared.

When Evan read the description of the item he could not believe what it was telling him, "I can actually get a gift, if this is possible what can't the system possibly do" thought Evan. Evan decided to keep the item in his inventory for now and use it later when he felt he was ready. Evan took one last look down the staircase leading down to the lower floors "here I come exp" but before he could take a step down the stairs a screen popped up in front of him.
