Ch.20

I listened while most of them practiced and Usopp guided Kame. Princess Vivi even joined in on the training for a bit before retiring. Half way through the night I stopped them and told them to get some sleep except Usopp as the beans don't take away mental exhaustion but only the physical aspects of it.

They found themselves and especially Luffy, falling asleep as soon as they hit the pillows after a line of showers. I sat up with Usopp and listened to his lies and heroic stories he told Kame while directing him. I made sure to help Kame sort out the bullshit as just fiction while making sure we were on course. It wasn't much but it helped a few times.

Kame liked the stories even if they were lies as they entertained his growing mind. I practiced my Haki in the meantime and helped Kame grow his mind scape. It was a ninja turtle world he'd created and damned if it wasn't funny to see.

I taught him Occlumency and Legilimency as well so he'd read the thoughts of others as best he could while guarding his own mind from any mental assaults before giving him the know how's of the six powers and even Haki.

By morning I'd meditated enough and taken a senzu bean to keep myself up to par. After breakfast I unhooked Kame and fed him the foundation building pills before sending him off to eat whatever he could find and practice his powers.

Needless to say he was a prodigy when it came to the six powers and a week later even unlocked his emperors Haki when he took down a giant horned angler fish that nearly ate him! He ended up eating it instead and shared the rest with the crew as it was several times his body size.

I gave them the watches that same day and instructed them how to use them and what to be careful for. Only they could intentionally change the settings so they'd be fine unless they were idiots which Luffy was as I barely reacted in time to save him from his dumb self.

I fed him a senzu bean and turned down his settings while beating him upside the head. It seemed to work too as the senzu bean healed him of whatever damage Garp had done to his brain over the years even as I beat the scars open and the bean healed the damage.

I sighed when I pulled away and saw him fiddling with the watch until it was just perfect for himself. That night Merry asked for some charged ward stones to put in a pocket dimension as I wasn't always going to be on the ship.

I agreed and gave it twenty full size ward stones I shaped in my inner galaxies. Luffy stayed up to guide Kame and talked about food along the way until morning when he woke everyone up yelling. "Guys, there's an island. Shishishi! Let's go on an adventure!"

We arrived at the prehistoric island called Little Garden by the time lunch was served. I cautioned to be weary of poisonous creatures and insects with diseases while unhooking Kame and letting him up on the banks.

A T-Rex lost it's life when it got close and tried to eat the now ship size turtle. I chuckled as Kame ate his meal to the crews surprise. "I may have taught him the same stuff as you guys. Zoro and Sanji, go hunt and fill up the food stores. Vivi can go with Luffy and Karoo to explore and I'll clean up Kame before going with Usopp to catch more food for later storage while Nami stays with Kame to guard the ship."

They nodded and we got to work while Sanji packed Luffy a snack box. I cleaned the barnacles and crustaceans off of Kame's shell and body before waxing his shell and feeding his snail as well as stocking it's pellets and lettuce supply. When I finished, Kame slid back into the water and finished his meal on the bank.

I set out with Usopp while teaching him what to lookout for and how to survive on an island like this. After sending several dinosaurs into my galaxy worlds, I collected viable fruits and trees that seemed to be good and even found a devil fruit. It was the Dino-Dino fruit: model Spinosaurus.

Grinning, I offered it to Usopp who looked it over and I told him. "It won't help your sniping abilities but if I'm right it'll make you turn into that one."

I pointed towards a spinosaurus eating a triceratops. He looked amazed while looking over the dinosaur before shaking his head. "If I'm going to eat one I want it to make me the best sniper in the world and not just stronger."

I nodded wisely and stored it away before heading back to the ship. There I found a giant asking Nami for some grog and looking at Kame like he'd offended it. Nami rolled out a few barrels and I chuckled as I hopped on the ship with Usopp. "I see you've made a friend Nami."

She looked relieved and told me. "This is Brogy, he's a nice giant it seems."

I chuckled and met the giant's eyes while saying. "So long as you don't hurt the crew including Kame, my turtle over there, I don't really mind sharing drinks and a meal with you."

He laughed and agreed so I made a big fire on the land and told him to slow roast the dinosaur meat I put on the spit with seasonings. It was more than enough even for a giant and the alcohol wasn't that bad either.

I offered him the devil fruit I'd just found and he shook his head calling it an outside power and not worth a giant warriors time. He believes in his own strength and would only eat a devil fruit if his friend Dorry ate one as well to make their fights even.

Chuckling I shook my head and went to put the fruit away and check on my bagged fruit that I kept in my room. I found the Kilo-Kilo fruit and the bomb-bomb fruit inside and replaced the orange and apple they'd changed from while storing those as well.

I had two cat fruits models panther and lion while I had three dog fruit which were the greyhound, bulldog and rottweiler as well as another special dog-dog fruit model Cerberus.

The rest was all plain things like regular foxes and frogs except the one logia fruit, the plastic-plastic fruit. It was only classified as logia because the user could turn into liquid plastic and reshape into any form as well as make plastic things.

No one wanted it so it was tossed in with the rest. I offered Dorry the cat fruits and he excepted them though he was surprised I had so many. He ate the lion and became a giant lion while saving the panther for Dorry until the volcano erupted and they went to battle. He gave Dorry the fruit before they started and both became giant cat men that fought with swords, axes and shields.

Their newfound power and agile bodies made the fighting more intense and loud from farther away. I fed Kame more pills and made him a supremely strong pill that would allow him to break through to black gold rank from his peak silver rank while keeping his foundation solid.

It even had a bit of the super soldier serum in it for an all around even boost that was keyed to his species. After he ate the pill, he dived down to hunt for food and grow rapidly.

Luffy and Vivi got into trouble so I called Sanji and Zoro who were arguing and told them to fix it while I went to grab a shower. By morning the crew was assembled and the giants were saved while Sanji had pissed off Crocodile as his persona, Mr.Prince.

Mr.3 and Miss Goldenweek has both been knocked out for causing those issues. Using the map and the eternal pose we went to set off when I ended up getting bit by a bug. Cursing my luck, I heard my father's laughter as I passed out. It seems he didn't want to let me do as I pleased anyways.

I woke up in and out of consciousness along the way and groaned in pain as my body tried to fight of a disease millions of years in the making. Luffy and the rest were worried but I merely grunted and told them I'd be fine before passing out again.

The next time I awoke Vivi was worried but from what I understood Kame had weighed in his personal opinion after killing a giant gold fish and eating half of it as he was now a fourth it's size and almost the size of a small island.

He'd dragged the ship to where Nami had said the doctors were without their consent and broke through ice along the way. His size was massive and he could carry the ship on his back if he wanted now.

When I woke up for the last time we were on an island and Luffy was with Sanji and Nami fighting giant rabbits. I released my conquerors Haki and knocked the rabbits out before passing out once more. Days or hours passed, I could never tell which, before I woke up feeling weak.

The pain was gone so I ate a senzu bean. While the beans themselves can't heal diseases, they can recover a body after the disease is cured. I sat up and asked the crone watching me. "Where's my crew?"

She smiled. "I'll tell you for one of whatever that was."

I tossed her a bean saying. "As far as I can tell it heals and energizes the body but it can't cure diseases or help with mental trauma or exhaustion. I found them on an island of rainbow mist in the East blue before it disappeared one stormy day. Keep it or eat it I don't care, now where's my crew?"

She sighed. "They're out front fighting the former king of this castle. As for the rest of your crew, they seem to be in town still from what I've heard."

I nodded and stood up before heading outside and summoning a bag of fruits and some clothes from my ring. I put the clothes on and carried the bag outside where Luffy and Sanji was fighting alongside a reindeer man and beating three silly looking men.

Smiling, I grabbed my stored swords and jumped off the balcony, onto the snow below. Still grinning, I drew my swords and cut the necks of all three men, killing them instantly. Luffy huffed. "That's no fair! I wanted to beat them!"

I chuckled until they noticed me and Luffy yelled. "Ace! You're ok!"

He leapt at me and hugged me while crying. I sighed and patted his back saying. "Of course I am Luffy. I promised you I wouldn't die and I keep my promises little brother."

He pulled away grinning. "Shishishi. Of course!"

I patted his head and took the keys from Wapols dead body before taking my bag of fruits inside. One of them had changed into a devil fruit and I now had the munch-munch fruit. Shaking my head I told Luffy as the others seemed to arrive by rail car. "It's good that you found me a doctor even with my promise it would have been tough without her. As for the reindeer-"

I turned to Chopper and bowed while he hid wrong. "Thank you for helping save me. I feel I owe you one."

I handed him a bag of senzu beans. "These are beans meant to heal the body from physical injuries and energize the body. I hope it's enough to repay your efforts as if used right a single one can save you from the brink of death itself. They can't cure diseases but they can heal any injury I know of."

The now little reindeer's eyes sparkled and took the bag while I told him. "They also seem to make you need less food for about three days per bean so it's monster eaters like Luffy here that eats more out of habit then anything else."

I pinched Luffy's face before he bowed to Chopper as well and thanked him. He went on to demand Chopper join our crew and chased the little guy all over the castle. Sanji ate a bean I offered as well before his frostbite cleared up and his legs healed better.

He thanked me while going to tell Nami and the rest right outside that it was over and I was healed up. I went to see Dr.Kureha to pay whatever insane bill I owed. She looked me over one last time before nodding. "You can be released but I want something from you instead of money. I want the keys you took from Wapol's body."

I chuckled and handed her the keys before adding on a large sack of the beans and a dose of an enhanced super soldier serum with enough chi in it to reverse her aging process. "Think of the last two as gifts for Chopper. My little brother is stubborn and I'm sure he'll help the little guy change his mind. Soon enough I'm sure Chopper will join our crew. The bag is more beans and the vial is something I tinkered with over the years. It's not eternal youth or immortality, but it'll reverse the years and give you a lot more time and some added body benefits if you take it."

She raised an eyebrow and I shrugged. "It's legit and I'd never trick someone who has saved my life."

She looked it over and nodded. "If he manages to convince Chopper to go with you all, I won't stand in his way."

I nodded and smiled. "Perhaps you'll regain your youth and beauty after all. Not that age has dulled it but that the wisdom of time weighs heavy on us all."

She looked me over and asked. "How old are you really?"

I chuckled. "I'm twenty and my little brother is eighteen or about to be. As for the rest of the crew, who knows?"

She went to grab my shoulder but I dodged and ran outside, hopping over the balcony ledge and storing the fruits. I chuckled as I landed next to Zoro. "You look like crap."

He snorted. "They interrupted my training for a fight then dragged me here in a rush."

I smiled. "Let's head back to train. I need to give Kame a fire pill to stave off the chill of the cold water anyways."

He nodded and followed me back to the ship with Geppo. After making and feeding Kame the fire pill, I spent the next several hours training with Zoro until Nami and the rest arrived. I mentioned the fruits and Luffy offered the villagers the zoan ones to help them protect their people.

They agreed and took them all except the mythical zoan dog fruit model Cerberus. I didn't mind as I kept the paramecia and logia fruits which brought my stock down to five.

Dogs, elephants and birds were seen all over the island as the villagers tried out their fruit powers. Fifteen of the villagers had transformed and now it was a circus. We set sail at Kame's fastest speed for Alabasta next while pink snow rained down behind us.

Chopper had joined us and was crying a bit at the sight. I patted his head and began training the crew while Vivi volunteered to guide Kame. The crew was absolutely shocked by his new size and I explained that he was an island turtle with a bit of a dragon bloodline so he might evolve to be bigger than an island some day.

His head was already massive and was my seat when I was meditating while Luffy sat on the mast head as his seat. Chopper seemed to be able to talk to him and volunteered to lead him on occasions after Nami taught him the ropes of reading a log pose.

Chopper and Nami shared a room as it was time to start doubling up for lack of space. I practiced my swordsmanship while Zoro did weight training and Sanji walked around with his watch constantly on. As a matter of fact, all of them had their watches on as I demanded of them even when sleeping so their bodies acclimated quickly and they were able to raise the weights.

Luffy was practicing his second gear in the corner and Nami asked Usopp for her own weapon. Usopp came for me for the materials I happily provided the best of and he made an advanced staff weapon that had several hidden features.

I beat the idiot with the prank ones and told him to remove them as it was a weapon and not a party tool. He took them out while eating a senzu bean for the large lumps on his head.

Nami thanked me and beat him again for nearly getting her killed and demanded an instruction manual so she could practice safely with it. It could summon a small thunder cloud and had a scythe as well as projectile needles and various hidden weapons in it.

I advised she learn how to take it apart and repair it by heart so that she no longer needed Usopp to fix it if she was in a dangerous position and she agreed after she learned how to fight with it.

The damn thing was dangerous and I wasn't about to be a test dummy so I made Luffy do it. Other than dodging and getting needles in his ass, he was fine enough so Sanji helped her practice. He didn't actually hit her but instead pointed out her flaws until he too was beaten senseless.

I went away from the boat a bit with Geppo and for a clear moment, I unleashed a blade ki that cut a large divide in the ocean, killing many fish and turning the waters red. Sharks swarmed the area as I smiled and landed back on the ship.

Zoro has seen my achievement and looked at me hard. "I want a duel."

I nodded. "Not in the ship though. When we make land I want to test my swords in battle once more."

He agreed and started intensifying his training. I did the same by putting my watch up another three notches and set it to automatic so that it would raise the gravity every time I got used to it. I did a full workout routine for the next couple days until a steam fog rolled in and with it a male ballerina hopped on Karoo whom Luffy and Usopp were using as bait to fish with.

I tossed Kame an icy pill so he wouldn't boil to death and he relaxed a bit as he carried us through until the ballerina fell off into the regular waters. Sighing, I had Kame surface and found the ballerina on his back.

I pulled him to the ship and had Kame go back under. The male ballerina introduced himself while I headed back atop to continue to train, ignoring the proceedings until his ship picked him up.

When they mentioned Mr.2 by name and title as they left the others were shocked but I chuckled. "Interesting. Do you think he copies more than faces, like sword skills as well? I'd love to fight him if so."

Zoro looked interested as well by the prospect and Nami came up with the idea to mark ourselves with a symbol only we would have now. We covered the symbol she declared was a symbol of our friendship up.

Sighing I continued to train as I'd begun to feel my level and if I could describe it then I was just beginning in the sword master department even with all I knew before. I'd put Hawkeye at the peak of sword grandmaster and that's where I was aiming for now so I had leagues to go yet.

Zoro was barely at adept as he hadn't yet discovered Haki and was working on strengthening his foundation first. Soon enough I had no doubt he'd peak adept and step into sword master with me once he discovers how to utilize haki to cut steel and not cut a leaf.

It was the beginning but once he mastered it enough to wrap his blade in haki he'd be where I'm currently at. I practiced non stop and sent sword blades flying off every now and then as the headed to the sky and faded to nothing.

I still wasn't able to do more than split nearby water with them but I was improving rapidly as I focused and honed my will and Haki like a blade. In secret at night I began to practice my unique power that I'd long ago copied from Luffy, the rubber fruit powers.

I took my time going through the gears as I understood them and realized I needed a stronger body if I wanted to progress passed the bone balloon stage. I stopped and continued to guide Kame for the rest of the night when I hit that wall as well.

My ability negated the weaknesses but it still cost stamina and even with the beans and nanite pills it was a hard risk to use something that took chi with such bursts. I'd even begun refilling Luffy's chi each night while he slept so that his own life force was undamaged.

The next day we came upon the island and behind us baroque works billions were following on ships. I unhooked Kame and told him. "Go have a meal."

The crew watched as my pet turtle turned the fleet of ships into a graveyard as he ate the crews alive. Smirking, I told them. "They're small fries and hardly worth our time but it was worth his snack time at least."

I had elves gathers the weapons in my storage rings and come back quickly so the bounty hunters were pretty much screwed. Kame ate them all in under twenty minutes while we prepared to dock.

Luffy ran off when we made land so I had Nami and Usopp go buy veils while Sanji went to get fresh supplies. I gave the others robes and stuff while I simply took off my shirt and switched to shorts.

I enjoyed the heat while Chopper seamed allergic to it. I gave him and the rest icy pills that they ate to keep them cool even in the most intense heat. Chopper asked for my research on it so I left a ton of books on alchemy and pill making in his and Nami's quarters.

I told him he could read them and keep them as he liked before giving him a pouch of icy pills and passing each of them a pouch as well. Sanji and Nami came back with Usopp and the supplies while I handed them pouches of icy pills as well.

Sanji gave Vivi and Nami a pair of Belly dancer outfits and I chuckled at the beating they gave him. They remarkably kept the outfits though so it seemed worth it for him.

Moments later I heard shouting and running as Luffy made his position known as well as ours. What shocked me though was that after he spotted us and came over, Sabo showed up with Whitebeards mark on his back.

I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach as he introduced himself to everyone as mine and Luffy's brother. He used a fruit power I didn't expect, the time-time fruit. His was a logia type and he stopped time for all the marines while telling us to run.

Laughing, Luffy led the way with tears in his eyes. Tears came to mine as memories of a life I hadn't lived hit me like a ton of bricks. I gasped out. "Sabo!"

He looked back at me with tears in his eyes as well and nodded so I turned and threw ki blades at the marines including Smoker who was with them and ran to catch up with the crew. Moments later I heard screams and saw smoke repeatedly freezing in mid air as Sabo beat down smoker.

Grinning still, I pulled Luffy with me and we met up with Sabo in an alley while the rest went to disembark the ship with Kame. As soon as Sabo arrived we had a three way arm wrestling match that broke the stone underneath us.

Smiling, I told Sabo how I joined Luffy as first mate and decided my dream was to protect our littlest brother. He agreed and offered us to join Whitebeard's crew which we shook our heads no to. We headed back to the shop to introduce him to everyone while he filled us in on what happened and how he regained his memories by seeing both our bounty posters released at once.

Apparently one of Whitebeard's crew was in the area and saved him before the revolutionaries could. Seeing the difference I knew I was in an alternate timeline. It still made me shiver a bit while he told me about Blackbeard and what he did to deserve being hunted down.

Sighing, I told him. "If he's got the fruit I think he does, you're not a match for him. He can summon black holes if I'm right and they stretch time and make it go wonky so you'll need to master Haki along the way."

Luffy tilted his head while Sabo asked surprised. "You know about Haki?"

I nodded and flicked Luffy's head making a welt while he whined. I chuckled with Sabo and told him. "I picked up a few things along the way. I've been trying to teach this dumb dumb but he's a slow learner."

I spotted the ship along the water and grabbed them using Geppo to take us over. I set us down on the ship and introduced Sabo as our long thought dead brother come back to life. While Luffy filled them in, I headed to train now that everything was fine.

I increased the intensity of my workouts by using the second wish for adjustable gravity weighted training swords and used them to train with. I showed Zoro the three he could use when he came in and we got to work while I practiced haki on top of my workout.

I could tell Sabo hadn't yet unlocked any haki and something seemed different about him from the start until I realized he was probably a reincarnater as the feeling I got from him was spot on.

I pushed it aside and pushed my body and will to the limits and beyond before stopping long enough to take a senzu bean and continue. When we made land again Sabo mentioned following us to Yuba for Blackbeard's trail but I could see it in his eyes that he wanted to figure out if I was like him.

I ignored his looks and agreed before having Nami load up all the supplies we needed into her ring. Sabo seemed interested in the same rings and gravity technology but I simply told him the same story I did for Dr.Kureha.

I could tell he didn't believe it but I offered him a training sword as I was all out of materials to make more watches as it were. He turned me down saying he was a fist fighter now and now a sword user.

I shrugged it off and he asked about the rings but I simply told him they were special and only worked for one person ever and that I had no more. Nami blushed a bit but didn't comment while Sanji scowled at me.

I shrugged it off and made sure to spell Nami's ring so that only she could take it off. I felt a time lapse as my ability to move for a moment was sealed until my body adjusted and gained the time freezing fruit ability.

I pulled my hand away from Sabo's to his surprise and scowled at him. "What are you doing?"

He frowned and looked to the others who were still frozen before saying. "You're a reincarnater like me aren't you?"

I shrugged. "Something like that. I take it you were reborn as Sabo?"

He nodded. "I wanted to be Sabo as he survived the war of the best by joining the revolutionaries but ended up joining Whitebeard's group instead."

I sighed. "Then what wishes did you get?"

He shook his head. "I got a system. It's not the best but it's what the god that gave me this life could spare at the time. It's the Gamer system. So what did you get?"

I chuckled. "Nothing important for now. I just got a reality hopping ability for when I master each world's unique powers."

He nodded. "So that's where the watches and rings came from?"

I nodded. "I don't have any more at the moment so you'll have to go without until after we reach the new world. But I should be able to gather the supplies to make more by then. I need to train my crew after all."

He sighed and nodded reluctantly before looking to me and Nami and asking. "Are you-"

I shook my head. "She needs it for gold, money and supplies and no you can't have it. Like I said it's important for my crew. Either you leave it be or we fight until I beat you down. As I'm sure you've already figured out from your system-"

I turned off my watch and he looked me over with a spell I'd call detection but most knew to be observe. "-there's no winning that fight for you right now."

I turned my watch back up to my max settings and shook my head as he sweat dropped. "I'll give you face just this once for the memories I have of Sabo or more accurately you before you tried to steal from me. Don't do it again. We're brothers and that actually means something to me."

He nodded and stood up straighter so I let it drop before tossing him a training sword. "Use that you train with if you can but that's all you're getting for now. I'm sure your gamer powers or fruit ability will allow you to learn sword mastery or something. That'll help a lot if it does."

I tossed him a few extra random swords I'd taken from pirates and he swiped them up. I asked him. "What level are you anyways?"

He sighed. "Level fourth three."

I nodded. "And what level am I by your gamer powers observation?"

He gulped and sighed. "Level ninety eight. But when you turned off the watch your stats skyrocketed from an average persons forty to nearly a thousand apiece which you shouldn't have until you're at least level two hundred."

I grinned and nodded. "It looks like it's doing it's job then. So is the system a fruit?"

He shook his head. "The system is an extra power while my fruit is the time-skip fruit."

I nodded and sighed. "Alright. Just be careful against Blackbeard and if you do get caught I'll go with Luffy to bust you out. I can't have my brother dying twice on me now can I?"

He looked me over and nodded before smiling and clasping my arm. "I'm that case I'll head off now as I know Blackbeard isn't in Yuba."

I nodded and he unfroze everyone before saying goodbye to Luffy and the rest as he decided to try the next island. In truth he was headed to rob some of Crocodile's businesses from his thoughts but I couldn't care less.

Luffy looked sad but I simply hit him in the head and jumped off the ship into a mess of Kung fu dugongs. I beat them soundly and they started bowing to me. I chuckled and have them swords before entering their minds and imparting several hundred sword techniques.

Ten minutes later they were all sword disciples. I told them. "Guard the ship and I'll teach you the six powers when I get back. Just don't anger Kame, my turtle."

Kame raised his head out of the water and the dugong's eyes went wide. There was no fitting Kame up the river stream so they were safe where they were. I coated each sword to become waterproof with runes and we set off while they practiced. I convinced Zoro and the rest to practice Soru and Geppo to get there faster and we shot off while Sanji carried Vivi whose duck had already ran to the capital with a message.

Zoro carried Chopper until they all started to tire out at the rock formations passed the deserted town. Luffy decided to chase birds for food and came back riding a camel and running from a giant Lizard. I waved one sword and split the lizard in half while Sanji and Zoro beat the second one to death.

I stored one and fried the other for food. They all seemed to relax before taking another icy pill and heading out. The camel was carried by Zoro this time while I carried Chopper and only because it begged and the girls agreed.

We ran passed a group of sand pirates and I dropped the dead lizard next to their ship so they could eat. I chuckled as they celebrated and called it a gift from the desert.
