I put the Dolphin on first and started making the brown butter glaze for it while I put on the sword fish and salmon on. I deep fried the shrimp after putting them in corn and oregano batter I'd made. I was a multitasking machine as I worked the grill.
I didn't even have to ask as my father transfigured the table I needed and the plates for the food. The sword fish and salmon took up half the table while the shrimp platters with marinara dipping sauce and brown butter lime Mahi Mahi with avocado salsa took up the second half.
I warned them and Ron especially. "Be careful with the fish meat and eat it slow as there are little bones you'll need to pick out as you eat it."
I enjoyed the shrimp and watched as they loaded up plates to try the foods. Molly had to help Ginny pick out the bones and finally got tired of it and accio'd the whole lot of them causing me to sigh as she took out the bones in all the fish's at once, making it mushy as the bones tore out of it all.
She tossed the bones aside with a wave and I shook my head. "Be careful just in case you missed a few. You don't want to choke on them."
All in all it was a fine meal even if it was a bit torn up. They all seemed to enjoy it and we found out Ron had a shrimp allergy. He'd swelled up like a balloon and I handed him an allergy potion that I'd brewed in my first year as practice.
He was fine but he didn't want to give up on the shrimp until the third time when his mother forbid him from eating the shrimp. He stuck to the fish and damned if he didn't try to tackle three fourths of all three types of fish by himself.
It was actually morbidly entertaining to watch him stuff himself stupid. Once again he'd run off to join the others in the water, completely forgetting about the first big embarrassment. Only this time no one else did as they raced out of the water as soon as they noticed him.
Even my sisters were terrified of being hit by a poo wave and thus ran inside, giving up on swimming for the day. Ron, not understanding why everyone left had a grumpy face before deciding he could have fun in the water all by himself until he shit himself once more, crying to his mother as he swam out of the brown water smelling like a fresh sewer.
Molly berated him while cleaning him up and sending him to the loo to get changed and wipe himself. I rested on my chair while reading with the bubble headed charm onto avoid the smell. I sent a quick banishing charm to the brown water and a cleaning charm to scrub what little I missed out.
The others still didn't want to go in though so they each found new things to do including crab hunting. I didn't notice the screams until they came running. Apparently Fred and George had found a nest of sapphire shelled fire crabs down the beach a ways and had tossed some water spelled balloons at them that turned them into rainbow crabs.
They were being chased with their butts on fire down the beach while the crabs tried their best to pinch their asses. It was a hilarious sight as clown and rainbow colored crabs tried to pinch the boys asses while shooting bursts of blue fire when they missed.
Chuckling I sent a hover charm to the crabs while sending them into my realm before Fred and George were treated by Molly. I handed her some burn potions and asked the twins. "Where did you find the nest? I'll give you ten galleons per crab if you show me and a sickle per egg bunch."
They agreed right away and after their mother healed their butts, my father joined us down the beach. There they showed me the small cave that led into an underground network next to a volcano pit by the coast. The water and lava mixture was the perfect breeding grounds it seems as the cave was filled with thousands of crabs and over fifty nest bunches.
I handed the twins a pouch of money after the quick count before saying. "Don't spend it all in one place. By the by, you all should leave now so I can put them away safely. That includes you father, If I mess this up you could end up in a lava pit."
Molly took the twin's money pouch saying they'd use it for their school supplies before leading them all out. I closed my eyes and made a duplicate den for the fire crabs before taking all but a hand full along with their nests. Unfortunately the ground shook and the lava and water steamed up so I had to leave in a hurry, barely making it out when a giant emerald fire crab burst out of the ground. It was the size of what I'd think Aragog was.
Damned if it wasn't angry as well. I didn't even hesitate as my father was shocked as the rest of them screamed and fled. I froze the crab in mid step with a transfiguration of the cave opening and made a false Hungarian horntail dragon much bigger than the fire crab.
It stilled as the dragon looked towards it. I used the dragon as leverage and forced the fire crab to stay still while I sent it to the volcanic beach I'd made for it in my realm. Turning to my father, I let the transfigured dragon return to it's natural form before going back and remodeling the cave so the remaining fire crabs could build a home there.
While I wanted a preserve that had everything, I don't actually intend to take all the magical creatures, especially those that already have safe homes, from the world at large. That doesn't mean I won't take the wild and dangerous ones like the nundu and sphinxes that constantly attack villages in Africa or the dragons that are so lonely they'll attack nearby human settlements.
Dragons are territorial, that much is true, especially for the females, but they also like having mates and offspring of their own around for a time and with how wizards hunt them for materials to sell on the black market, their population of certain rarer species are dwindling.
As it is the Catalonian Fireball, the Portuguese Long-Snout and the Romanian Longhorn are all going extinct because of it. They were some of the few beasts Newt was out to get before they were truly gone. I followed my father back to the beach house and relaxed a bit while reading and soon enough our winter vacation came to an end.
Once more we were on the train bound for hogwarts. Now while things had yet to pick up again, I paid attention to Bill and his mystery muttering about cursed vaults. Smiling I realized he was talking about the chambers created by one of the late headmasters.
Amused by the prospect of a good time, I dragged Bill into our compartment and made him tell us all he knew about the cursed vaults. He wasn't happy but the thought of us actually finding them was too good for him to pass up so he agreed.
By the end I'd told him. "I'll find the first vault by the end of the year. I already have an idea of where it is so for now just go about your school projects."
He nodded and I told Charlie and Nym to meet me in the room of requirement Saturday morning. They played exploding snap before I read a book for the rest of the trip. I'd actually finished more than half the books I'd brought with me as I was only reading the stuff in the margins that students had written to better improve a spell or potion.
The only ones I'd found enlightening so far are Snape's potion books, Lilly Evans's charms books and James Potter's transfiguration books. I'd learned some dark spells from Snape's books and a few potions tricks while Lily Evans's charms truly were enlightening.
She'd bordered on permanent enchantments by the second year and could potentially rival Flitwick in charms by the seventh year. It truly was a great find.
Each one of them were true prodigies in their own subjects and would've gone on to change the very concepts of magic if the war hadn't happened and Voldemort wasn't around.
Classes started back up again and this time I had a lot more free time for studying and my own projects. One of which was making my own map like the marauders map only with more details and not bound by silly paper.
I began by etching and modifying the hidden runes on the map onto a ring with my own brand of runes to project the full 3-D map of the castle with detailed designs. For that I had to spend a month full of sleepless nights etching hidden runes around the castle next to the ones that the original map used.
Mine were much more advanced and powerful. I'd even revealed the hidden staircase and destroyed the ice knight in the fifth floor corridor where the first cursed vault was. I'd etched my runes there as well before hiding the place again under the same illusions as before and collecting the broken wand and a book.
I heard a warning saying not to let some female find the other vaults but it didn't matter to me. With the new addition to my map I continued my search and found one not on the map behind Gregory the Smarmy and a few more secret passages around Filch's office.
I put the original marauders map back in Filch's office and left him a dung bomb surprise in his desk. Next I etched a rune in the room of requirement, adding it to my map as I had to think of every variation of the room to get it to work properly.
Next I conjured a snake in the third floor corridor girl's bathroom while moaning Myrtle was busy in her secret u-bend piping. I etched the chamber of secrets into my map and expanded my map considerably.
Next came the whomping Willow tree I froze and etched a rune into the passage underneath and the shrieking shack. I etched runes all over Hogsmeade village expanding my map to include the entire village.
I'd covered most of the school grounds and even the entrance to the forbidden forest during my month of night time wanderings and even marked the headmasters office one evening while I visited him about the next years school changes.
My father had agreed to the changes he'd put forth and Arthur was on his way in as long as Dumbledore agreed to a few changes of our own including an introductory class into the magical world with all the traditions of our society for those of muggleborn descent.
Dumbledore has to leave during the meeting to deal with Filch's dung bomb problem and his threats to Peeves while I etched runes into his study and bedroom while an illusion sat in my chair for the portrait's benefits.
I used the room of requirement to find all the passages I'd missed in and out of the castle and repaired a few of them that had collapsed to to old age and lack of maintenance.
I now had a basic understanding of the entire school's layout. I'd have to learn parseltongue or acquire it to open any further doors and secret passages in the chamber of secrets as they were password protected and I wasn't about to risk it all for the basilisk in there, at least not yet anyway.
Towards the end of the year as things mellowed out and Bill got anxious, I mentioned the secret passage on the fifth floor to him. He and his own friends went to check it out while I wasn't interested.
I already knew where the next secret vault was from the book left in the first one and in fact had already been there and caught the three bogarts. In there and took a golden arrow and etched my rune in the walls there to add it to my map. It was in fact behind a book shelf in the restricted section of the library.
By the time the school year ended I had gone through a lot more training with Flitwick and Tina whom was injured in our last bout when I blasted her into a wall instead of her doing it to me. I'd surpassed her but not in fact Flitwick. The charms master had so much more to teach me it wasn't even funny.
I'd mostly been doing auror style battle training but with the last bout it was time for a change for me. Flitwick agreed to help me continue on my dueling magic path while Tina has transferred to take over Professor Flitwick's position.
Perenelle was running out of her old hairs to use in polyjuice potions so she was going to quietly retire until her last goodbye to Albus. As school came to an end, I was dragged off by Nym and Charlie on the train ride home.
Back at the school the professors gathered like always to discuss the potential of the students. Much was said but the consensus was that Damien Greengrass was one beyond all they were expecting. Snape sneered. "The boy has the potential to redefine potions for the whole magical community. I've asked him many times to join me for his master's studies and I'd sign off on him becoming a master once he's graduated but he's declined my offer for now."
Flitwick smiled. "He's beyond most charms teaching as well. If I didn't know better I'd say he was just like Lily Evans but his talent actually surpasses her as well. He fights like a caged beast and overwhelms even me with sheer power. It's like he's already at the third core level but I know better as there's only a handful of wizards who have reached that level."
McGonagall snorted. "He's yet to show the same potential in transfiguration."
Tina Scamander spoke up next. "Actually he's beyond even me in defense against the dark arts and his transfiguration and auror training I was teaching him has exceeded any but perhaps Bones and Moody. In fact I have half a mind to ask them both to take a year off and teach him to further his training."
The room went quiet at that before the headmaster spoke. "He's received enough combat training for now if what you say is accurate. How fairs his other studies?"
Each of the teachers gave him top marks before Dumbledore sighed. "Then perhaps we can consider his request to take all the extra classes. I presume you all have no objections to loaning young Greengrass the time turner?"
It was Severus who spoke up. "His potential shouldn't be ruined by such an object!"
The rest of the teachers were caught in the same conundrum until Tina spoke up. "Actually he already has a time turner thanks to special permission from the school board and his father. As it turns out the extra magic in his young body is protecting him from it's effects."
The teachers all frowned but Tina shrugged. "He asked me to keep it a secret in case it caused trouble for him. As for him cheating, he's already beyond all the studies of the regular class curriculums and can out do any seventh year I've taught by far. Including a corporeal patronus and several modified types of it made by himself."
Snape asked. "And what is his patronus if I might ask?"
Tina smiled. "It's a Phoenix. A green one like his familiar."
Albus frowned. "He has a Phoenix?"
Nodding she told him. "Yes, his family owns the preserve after all and runs it to protect them so it isn't odd he'd have one. From what I hear Newt was there when it chose him and sang to him."
Dumbledore's frown deepened but he didn't say anything further other than to suggest they choose another student to receive the time turner. As there was no other students currently qualified or asking to take more than the recommended classes, they disbanded into talking about the potentials of the first years.
Elsewhere on a certain train Nym was talking my ear off while asking about things she'd missed while focused on her studies. I showed her and Charlie the map and promised them. "I'll be making one each for your birthday presents. They're only visible to those that you want to see them."
I showed them the full hogwarts layout and everyone in it at the moment including teachers and ghosts. After a while I shut it off and we talked about our summer plans. I warned them. "I won't be able to do much as I'll be doing blacksmithing training with the goblins and enchanting as well as banking for learn the full in's and outs of the goblin nation. So I won't be able to visit or anything."
Charlie shrugged. "It's ok, Newt is letting me learn more about beasts and training me to be the best dragon handler out there over the summers."
I nodded and Nym looked sad but I told her. "Just because I can't go and see you doesn't mean you can't spend a month at my place and play with my sisters while I'm gone. We'll still be able to hang out at nights and stuff if you do. Besides, I'd like to help catch you up on classes and schooling and everything I can during your visit."
She agreed almost immediately with a smile and I sighed while laying back with my head in her lap. She fiddled with my hair and Charlie looked at us with an awkward smile. It was quite peaceful until we had to unload from the train. My father was waiting for me as usual and it seems the winter in Hawaii had fanned him more than I'd remembered until I figured it out.
He and mother had taken my sisters with them to explore the island I'd bought them. Smiling he told me about it as we left, saying goodbye to the Weasley's and Tonks's. I headed to Gringotts like usual to do some business before getting my schedule for training this summer and damned if it wasn't loaded.
I barely had time to stop by the manor and say hi to my sisters and mother before I had to head back to Gringotts and begin my classes. First came the goblin histories, I spent two weeks reading Gobbledegook papers and training manuals on all things goblin related before they even let me test what I'd learned and when I passed, they sent me to learn with a master blacksmith for a month and a half to learn enchanting and forging in the depths of Gringotts.
It wasn't until the last month that I called it for now as I'd learned all the basic enchanting and forging techniques and only needed practice to improve. My body was as solid as iron now because of all the intensive forging and enchanting while under weighted spells and armor the blacksmith, master Gernarl demanded I wear to improve my physique to be worthy of the hammers I used to forge with.
I was given a ton of business managing books to study and return by the solstice when I left and headed to the manor. I sent Fiona to call for Nym like I'd promised when I found out my schedule and she was let over.
When I arrived home with my new more intense look that was far more naturally filled out, my mother murmured. "You're definitely going to need new robes."
I nodded. "I'll pick them up today. Is father ready?"
She nodded. "He's in his office waiting for you."
I smiled. "Tell Nym when she arrives that I'll be back in a couple hours as I have a bit of business to take care of before I explain our plans for the rest of the summer."
She agreed and I headed to my fathers office where we then left and headed to Diagonally. There we went to Borgin and Burke's where I purchased the books he'd provided for me while under disguise. After buying a few darker creatures and another three basilisk eggs off of him, we left and I headed for number 4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey.
There I snuck inside with an active notice me not charm and found young Harry Potter there. He was malnourished and beaten severely while the fat lard of the man beating him was none other than his uncle Vernon Dursley.
I cast a notice me not spell on Harry and began treating his unconscious body with potions. I then drew a bit of blood into a special rune and placed it under the stairs with a notice me not spell on the staircase. Then, after much debate, I put him into my inner realm in a safe place before heading home.
The little rune would make sure any and all wards tied to him and his magic would stay in place as if he'd never left. While the notice me not charm was enough to have the Dursley's forget about him for a time at least. It would have to be reapplies exactly a year from today along with the blood rune.
I arrived at home through a suitcase I'd made for myself and there I met Nym. I brought a young and impressionable Harry Potter out and showed him to my parents while telling him as he woke up. "It's ok now, I'm not going to let those people hurt you any more."
I told my parents what as happening and they were angry to say the least but I also added. "I've a better idea. Rather than take him from them and let others fight over where he should be placed, let's keep him here and every year until he turns eleven I'll go back and update the blood rune and spells to make it look like he's still there."
They agreed and asked him. "Is that ok Harry?"
He looked at them and me curiously before asking. "Who is Harry? My name is freak."
I snorted. "Your name isn't freak, it's Harry Potter and your muggle aunt and uncle have abused you enough. If you want to stay with us you'll need to let us know."
He asked slightly afraid. "You won't hit me will you?"
I shook my head. "No, we won't. Nor will you have to do chores or pretend to be dumb. You'll be fostered here and I'll personally see to it that you know everything I do about magic."
He tilted his head. "What's magic?"
I smiled and summoned a flock of magical birds with my hand and turned the whole room into an illusion of a nature preserve where Phoenix's sang. He ended up crying and I sighed before cheering him up with a cheering charm and tickle charm combo.
When his fit of laughter subsided he asked. "Can I really stay?"
I nodded. "Yes you can."
He cheered and I chuckled before my father had a house elf show him to a guest room that would be given to him. Nym already has a guest room and now I'd decided. "It's time we take him muggle shopping. His clothes are clearly hand me downs from his whale of a cousin and are way to big. Once we get done with that I need you to settle your business father as we're going ahead with the mini vacation."
He nodded and mother said. "I'll take them shopping and you go deal with your business dear."
He agreed and off we were. We went to a mall where I'd bought Harry a full wardrobe that all fit perfectly, down to the sneakers. We'd get more once he wasn't so malnourished. I paid the way for Nym as well and she approved wholeheartedly as she already knew our future was together.
I bought my sisters and mother clothes for the beaches and hiking boots and pants for the Australian weather. We caught a suitcase trip to the Gringotts branch in Australia along the way. Harry was ecstatic to see more magic and I and my father provided easily enough.
We took a traveling tent that fit the whole family quarters inside and went on a hiking trail to where my point me spell was showing the way to what I desired. When we were over top it I had them back up a hundred yards except my farther and instructed him as we began.
In the end they'd pulled the tent out as it took us several days to magically dig the whole we needed to find the stone I required. When we levitated it's out together everyone but Nym was surprised and even my father nearly dropped his end of it in surprise.
I stored the semi truck sized diamond saying. "It'll take me a great deal of time to turn it into a ward stone but so long as I succeed, It would protect our family estates through a ward scheme and my special suitcases no problem."
My father agreed wholeheartedly before asking. "How long will it take?"
I shrugged. "I'll have to actually link it to the ley lines but maybe three years assuming I use the time turner repeatedly and spend all my summers on it with the exception of breaks using the time turner."
He nodded. "Then you can begin next summer. For now let's enjoy the last of this summer."
I nodded and pulled out a few engine block sized diamonds that we'd left in there before closing the whole we'd dug up. After I stored them away we headed for the beach where I collected several horned serpents and two bandicoot's along the way.
We spent most of our time enjoying the beaches and the outback until the last week of our vacation came to an abrupt end and we had to return. Nym and I had to do our school shopping and get our supplies before she went off to see her parents one last time before school.
I'd given Harry my old books and personal library to study and with a bit of help from my father, I'd taught him occlumency. He'd taken to it like a natural once we got passed his hang ups. He'd wanted it so badly he'd endured the pain of the mind assaults while I coached him through building his minds defenses.
In the end he'd chosen adamantine walls with liquid properties that would absorb all attacks. He'd gotten the idea from his cousins comic book he'd managed to read one evening about a silver surfer who was nearly unbeatable.
I taught him further than all but Nym as I introduced him to the mind arts book and showed him how to expand his mind. With that learning magic became a breeze for him. I'd even given him a few house elves to help drain his magic so he'd grow stronger. Not that he needed much help with the blood wards tied to his magical core and constantly draining him as well.
In the end I'd left him with a vast library of knowledge and a recommendation for the traditions and laws of the magical society as well as his own family's history amongst the purebloods of the magical world. I'd been the one to break the news to him about his family and their fate as well as what I knew on the wizarding war.
He was saddened but happy a bit saying. "At least they didn't abandon me."
I'd patted him on the shoulder and comforted him like an older brother before suggesting he learn all he can about magic as I'd doubted the dark lord was truly dead and I knew his followers weren't. I'd explained our crooked society as best I could and left him to study on his own.
Like a fish in water he'd taken to reading as much as he could from then on. A week after I dropped Nym off with her parents, I met her back on the train bound for Hogwarts. My sisters and mother had stayed home with Harry as he couldn't be seen in public especially with us.
Damned if my third year wasn't hectic. From ancient runes, divination and care of magical creatures to muggle studies, arithmancy and charms club, my schedule was jam packed to the point where I was exhausted even with the time turner.
But I refused to give up even a little. Professor Trelawney predicted my death nearly every day and yet I showed up to class the next time unhurt. It was amusing as I was self studying the art of divination and had actually tapped back into my talent of seeing my own future for a change.
It was packed full of boring and tedious work but damned if I wasn't ready and willing to do it all. I buckled down until Halloween, proving I could handle the strain of abusing the shit out of the time turner while self studying all the books in the room of requirement that I hadn't read before.
Most were from disbanded classes and that's actually where I picked up healing, rituals and dark arts to a deeper degree. I was finally learning at a pace that I liked and doing goblin business studies on the side.
Nym, after learning all I knew about magic over the summer thanks to the mind arts, her Occlumency and my telepathy, had taken a different path. She'd started excelling at all her core studies as well ancient runes, care of magical creatures and arithmancy.
I'd begin taking her back in time with me so she'd have extra time for her side studies and to enter my realm for fighting practice with Nicolas, Newt and Perenelle. She was improving at a noticeable level as even the teachers were paying attention to her now.
All her grades improved to just below mine. Even though she and Charlie knew Occlumency before, I'd given her the answers and Charlie had his own interests he studied and excelled in. By Halloween we were considered two of the smartest kids in our grade though I'd remained that way as my case was known to be unique.
Nym has even begun doing wandless and silent casting with practice and her rapidly growing core helping her. I doubt she'd catch up to me any time soon core wise as the physical labor and training the goblins made me do was the key as I'd found to strengthening my body and core further.
It seems the core can only become as strong as the body by comparison without rituals to augment the core to force it to grow beyond the body's current capacity. I highly doubted Dumbledore or even Tom Riddle would find this solution or even use this path as physically neither were very strong but magically they were insanely powerful.
As it was Halloween passed with little incident other than my trip to the forbidden forest so that I could mark the areas with runes and find the third cursed vault. I'd had to stun an acromantula at it's entrance and put it with the rest I had but it was worth it as the third vault held the way to the fourth via portkey.
I'd taken it without hesitation and ended up in the last vault under Hogsmeade if my map ring was anything to go by. I marked the wall with my special runes like I'd done the last three vaults and turned to meet the angry gaze of an annoyed Hungarian Horntail.
Smirking, I waved by and sent it into my realm with a warning to Newt that I'd placed it there separate from the other dragons. I found her nest and sent it to her as well before heading into the vaults actual chambers using Legilimency to open the spelled door.
There I found an older student from the looks of it, trapped in a painting. I broke the curse on it and let him out saying. "I'm Damien Greengrass, who are you?"
He grunted. "Jacob Graves."
I nodded and asked him. "When did you get stuck in the painting?"
He sighed. "1981."
I chuckled. "Well that sucks. It's 1987. You've been stuck in there six years. Welcome back to the land of the living."
He paled and shouted angrily. "Rakepick!"
I shrugged. "Don't know who that is but hey, do you know where the treasure is? I came exploring because I heard it was interesting."
He pointed to the last door and I headed towards it until he drew a wand on me. I sent it flying with a flick of my wrist. "Seriously? A guy can't catch a break?"
He frowned. "I can't let you take whatever dark magic it is out of here, I won't!"
I frowned. "Relax, if it is dark magic or whatever, you can send it to the goblins for destruction. If it's not then it'll be a fun find and I'll put whatever treasure it is to good use. Besides, it's not like you can beat me anyways."
I pointed to the wand it knocked out of his hand and waved a hand, stunning him silly. I opened the vault's final door and found a lethifold I happily sent to my realm before sighing and seeing the mirror of Erised. I snorted and took it into my bottomless pouch.
Seeing nothing else inside up sighed and woke up Jacob, taking him on a portkey ride back to the forbidden forest and onwards to Hogwarts. He snitched me out and I was forced to reveal the mirror that Dumbledore then claimed was Hogwarts property.
I snorted. "It wasn't even on Hogwarts grounds so unless you've proof of ownership-"
Jacob growled. "It doesn't belong to you anyway!"
I shook my head. "And it belongs to who? You? I doubt it. If not for me you'd still be stuck in a portrait whining to anyone who could hear you."
He scowled and Dumbledore said. "The mirror must stay with Hogwarts I'm afraid, it's for the greater good."
I chuckled. "Grindlewald said much the same thing."
He recoiled and looked like I'd smacked him. I sighed. "If you can't prove it belongs to Hogwarts then you can at least trade me for it."
He frowned as he asked. "What is it you want?"
I shrugged. "Your personal books on transfiguration and all the notes you've taken on the subject. As well as the guarantee that I can stay in Hogwarts to get all my masters after I graduate. And a job once I succeed. I'd rather not work at the ministry as government work holds no appeal for me."
Jacob scowled. "That's to-"
I waved a hand and turned him into a pig saying. "Shut it portrait boy, the adults are talking."
Dumbledore looked me over before saying. "There's no position available at the moment other than the defense against the dark arts position each year and I fear that position is cursed."
I scowled. "Yeah, I think I'll pass on that one. Tell you what, our deal is void if no position I find acceptable is open at that time."
He nodded. "This is acceptable. Out of curiosity, do you know what the mirror does?"
I nodded. "It shows the hearts deepest desire."
He nodded. "What does it show you?"
I shook my head. "I haven't stood in front of it. FYI I found a lethifold guarding it as well as a full grown female Hungarian Horntail I sent to Newt. He's dealing with them now."
He nodded and I went to leave. He coughed and pointed to pig Jacob. I scowled before turning him back and saying. "Have the books and notes sent to my rooms by tomorrow. I want to see what the famed genius headmaster accomplished in his field of expertise."
He nodded. "It may take a week or so to gather it all."
I scowled again. "Just send it when you find it. No later than a week though or you may find there's a lot worse places and things I can do to force your hand. Peeves has been rather bland lately after all."
He chuckled and I headed to the Halloween feast that was about to begin. I took the fastest route and yet Dumbledore still bear me there. I sat with Bill, Charlie and Nym while I told them what I was up to.
Bill was a bit miffed until I told him the prize was an annoying kid and a mirror. Charlie was a bit sad I didn't take him to see the dragon until I reminded him it was at the preservation now and he'd see it when he went there.
I told them where and what each cursed vault was. Bill excused himself to go and tell Jacob's sibling a Hufflepuff that his brother was out and safe and would probably be joining us.
