Chapter 7 Arlong Park part 4.

Luffy along with Sanji, Zoro and Usopp leave walking straight towards Arlong park.

After a few minutes they get out of Naruto's sight and Naruto approaches Nami who was still crying.

Naruto gets close enough for Nami to notice and looks at him.

Nami (still crying): Your name is Naruto, right?

Naruto (sad and worried): That's right, but for now you have to take care of that arm or else you may lose it because of the stab wounds you got.

Nami accepts without resistance, Naruto lifts her carefully by the shoulder and takes her to a place to sit her down and heal the wound. Naruto takes her directly to the infirmary and sits her down carefully so as not to further damage the arm and begins to apply medical first aid.

Nojiko (cheerful while Naruto is saved by the bell): Look who it is, Speaking of the king of Rome.

Naruto (raises his hand feeling saved from the situation): HEY LUFFY! I'M OVER HERE!!!!

Luffy (turns and smiles with his typical smile and runs to the beach): I finally found you, it's hard to find you, I've been looking for you for a long time along the coast (he sits between Nojiko and Naruto) Well Naruto, would you like to join me? Come on, say yes, we will have a lot of adventures and stuff, come on, say yes and come with us (smiling and anxious while hitting the soles of his feet together) Be part of our adventure, it will be something incredible, I assure you that you won't regret it.

Naruto (thoughtful): Mm... All right Luffy, but on the condition that you don't even think of saying my name wrong again, because if you do, I'll throw you to the fishes.

Luffy (completely happy, he jumps with joy): GREAT I HAVE A NINJA IN MY CREW AND I RECOVERED THE NAVIGATOR, DOUBLE PRIZE FOR LUFFY, SHISHISHISHI!!!!!!

Naruto (sighs): I guess I'll just have to get used to this idiot. Nojiko is just laughing at the scene.

Naruto was saying goodbye to Genzo and Nojiko at Genzo's house.

Genzo (cheerful): I'm glad you accepted Nojiko's request, I was about to talk to you to convince you if she didn't do it.

Naruto (cheerful): I would accept it anyway coming from you or Nojiko since after all they have been good to me for a stranger with unconventional abilities.

Genzo (smiles): We already know that and that's why I want to give you this package.

Genzo pulls out from a drawer a box the size of an encyclopedia sized 1500 sheet encyclopedia, he hands it to Naruto.

Naruto (confused): What is this, it's kind of heavy.

Genzo (calm and smiling): Those are 5 million Berries, that I used for the construction of buildings that destroyed the fish-men and for any emergency in the village, I wanted to give it to Nami to accelerate the passage of the payment, but if Arlong discovered that I had that money we could in trouble to Nami so I used it to protect and give the money for that person on the island.

Naruto (surprised): If that's so, better leave it here, it will be more useful here for the house that Arlong destroyed and for the people who need it.

Genzo (denying while smiling): No Naruto, I want you to have it, anyway, I'm sure Nami will leave the money she has been collecting to rebuild everything, she may think we don't know anything about it, but we know her so well that I know she will do that for us.

Nojiko (cheerful): Besides, you have been living in my house with no salary so technically you are broke and you will occupy for whatever you need especially clothes since you almost always clean and wear that orange suit that weighs like a second person.

Naruto takes out a blank book that he uses to keep objects and keeps the money there.

Genzo (cheerful): Well Naruto, it's almost time for you to go, let's go to the boat before they leave you behind.

Naruto (smiles): Sure.

(On the Merry)

Genzo, Nojiko AND Naruto approached the boat, Usopp saw them.

Usopp (cheerful): Hi Naruto, ready to travel with Captain Usopp hehehe.

Luffy (annoyed): Hey! I'm the captain here, okay? (ignoring Usopp's comment), Good thing you accepted Naruto having someone with your skills will be a good thing for us.

Zoro (calmly): Especially for your nursing skills since this idiot is looking for a fight every 2 by 3.

Sanji (sarcastic): Look who's talking.

Zoro (annoyed): Do you have a problem?

Sanji (annoyed): I don't but you do.

They stare at each other to the point that lightning comes out of their eyes becomes visible.

Nojiko (looking at the scene): No wonder my sister was Happy, these guys are really interesting (smiles).

Naruto (sighs): I guess my quiet days and meditative moments are over (smiles) but I think it will be interesting.

Luffy (smiles hearing that from Naruto): I assure you it will be, our adventure is just beginning my new Nakama Shishishi, go on board the boat and let's wait for Nami.

Naruto nods his head and jumps up to the deck of the boat.

Usopp (a little surprised): Hey Naruto, where's your stuff?

Naruto (takes out a book): Here it is.

Usopp (puzzled): Just a book?

Naruto (laughs): No Usopp, I have the ability to store objects in pieces of paper and other things this way I don't carry luggage with me and I only carry the book.

Naruto opens a page to lance and he puts his palm on it and from that page comes out a fishing rod.

Naruto: Look at a fishing rod in a page of the book (Naruto brings the rod closer and puts it back) Now it is again in the book in a page of this one. Remember that I had imprisoned the fish-men in the book.

Usopp remembers that he had half the men of Arlong imprisoned with another similar book.

They were all impressed about the new thing Naruto showed them.

Luffy (completely happy): You are amazing Naruto! I wasn't wrong to ask you to come with us.

Usopp (impressed): That's so amazing it's hard to believe, it's really very useful.

Zoro (impressed): You're quite a box of surprises.

Sanji (impressed and intrigued): Unbelievable, and does it work to preserve food?

Naruto (smiles): If I can keep fish-men alive with it I can also keep the food stored so they never have an expiration date.

Sanji (impressed): Wow, that's really good, can I please ask you to keep the meats in some book that we have empty, this way I make sure that Luffy and Usopp don't eat the reserves while I'm not watching the kitchen, because as they are both with the food it's something very likely to happen.

Sanji starts to stare at Usopp and Luffy and they just started to squeal as if they were innocent.

Zoro (somewhat doubtful): And by the way, don't you think Nami is taking too long?

Usopp (somewhat sad): She may have decided to stay, after all her village is already free and that was the reason why she went sailing.

Luffy (confident and happy): She will come, look in the direction of the city.

They all focused their gaze on the port, where Nami could be seen meters away from it.

[Nami's Farewell]

After saying goodbye to her hometown, stealing their wallets, Nami settles on the Merry. After getting far enough away, she looks at her companions and realizes that there is one extra crewmember.

Nami (intrigued): Eh.... Naruto?

Luffy (Happy): That's right, I convinced him to join us hehehe.

Naruto (smiles): Hi Nami, what a farewell you gave.

Nami (confused): I'm sorry for asking, it's not that I'm not happy to have you but, what made you agree to join this idiot? (starts to point to Luffy)

Luffy (somewhat annoyed): That offends me in many ways, especially when you are the navigator of this idiot.

Luffy was totally ignored.

Naruto (cheerfully): I think you have the answer to that question.

Nami (sighs): What am I going to do with it, but well, I hope you do it excellently because I'm kind of picky and no doubt I'll make the most of it.

Naruto (defiantly): Are you challenging me, a ninja?

Nami (defiantly): Maybe, it might be too much of a challenge for you.

Naruto (defiantly): We'll see about that, redhead.

Naruto and Nami smile at the events while Sanji looks at Naruto with jealousy at the event taking place in front of him while Zoro and Luffy don't give it any importance while Usopp wonders what kind of reason he joined.

And so began the journey of the Straw Hat Pirates, with an unexpected new member to the crew, who will be waiting for our protagonists. So that Naruto can remember who he really was and Luffy can become the future king of pirates.
