Exploring The Surroundings & Departure!

David walked out of the crater, smiling, before looking at his {Mini-Map} and heading towards a random direction as most of the area in his map was clouded and needed exploring.

'Hmm... where are all the reds man...' David complained as it was boring since there was nothing to fight, especially since he evolved, there was a lingering scratch to test his powers out.

As the area was mostly filled with trees, David wasn't able to fly and instead sprinted everywhere, considering it part of his routine or something...

While running in a straight line, David was looking for something... anything to pop up on his {Mini-Map}.

'Boring... maybe I should just practice my magic on the way...' David considered as there was nothing going on.

After contemplating for a few minutes, David wanted to get used to the other types of mana around him, so he went into what he called the 'Avatar State' where the elements were revolving around him. He even connected the five with his flux, making them even stronger.

A few more minutes later, David arrived at 'the edge'.

"The hell? I'm on a god damn island..." David looked down and up, only to see clouds below and other islands above him.

"Considering how weak the monsters were... this must be a newly made island right? Maybe I should just explore everything on this island first to see if I could complete any hidden quests." David had a finger on his chin, staring at the island closest to him.

'Yep, might as well use this time to train a bit more before going to another island just to get my ass handed to me...' David headed back and onto to edges, balancing with his wind mana supporting him.

Instead of just random orbs filled with a type of mana, David was running while conjuring multiple shapes using different types of mana.

Although the island was small, it was still an island, so it took around a few hours to completely 'discover' the edges of the island.

Going back into the interior, David also tried to go in different directions from his smell, since some of the trials didn't smell of just trees everywhere, though he was disappointed with the fact that at least 65% of the entire island was a forest while the other 35% is a hybrid of different biomes which couldn't even be called such as it was such a small area of the whole island.

With the amount of time he spent running around the entire time, David had spent over 10 hours practicing magic until he was low on mana, making him a bit too nauseous to continue.

Even though he was tired, he pushed through and began his training with his claw technique, using the tree around him as training dummies.

Using all sorts of his memories in his past life and translating some of them into claw techniques. Due to his monster physique, he was much stronger and flexible to the point where he could turn his body behind him and go through his own legs with no difficultly, his attacks are much harder to predict than most humans and some demi-humans as well.

As he got more and more familiar with his body, his attacks became quicker and more precise, making him seem like a skilled marksman, but if one was a melee user.

By the time he was done with his training, 7 more hours had passed, and he was in a plain area with a small campfire in place, eating some more lizard meat.

"Bland... boring... man... I need to at least get to another island quickly... maybe even human civilization would be good when I master my {Transformation} skill..." David muttered while taking a bite out of the lizard kebab, lying on the ground, looking at the sky full of stars above.

Putting out the fire, David closed his eyes and went to sleep after he placed a barrier around him for extra protection just in case something happens while he was asleep.

At first light, David opened his left eye and looked around.

'Seems like nothing happened... This really is a newly established island, there's no other way it could that weak... right?' David opened his other eye and got up.

"Guess it's time to finally move... hgnnn..." he stretched and cracked his joints, making him feel refreshed.

Eating rat and lizard for breakfast, David was ready to depart to another place.

David stood up and squatted, releasing his {Transformation}, he turned back into his original form.

His wings were now spread out and were continuously being power by David's mana, though David thought it was from the surrounding mana since it didn't take his mp at all.

He jumped up and flew into the air, and his wings had begun to flap and flap.

Quickly controlling himself, David flew into the air, and instead of going up, he decided to go down instead and dived headfirst seeing that there were no mountains or other obstacles from his {Mini-Map} blocking his way.

Placing his hands over his face to block the clouds that were getting into his face, he continued to dive down to land.

Passing through the clouds after a few seconds, he didn't see much, mostly forests... AGAIN!

'Well... shit...' his eyes twitched, as his hopes were slowly cracking seeing the massive forest in front of him.

He landed in the outer layer of the forest, landing in a superhero landing. He looks around him and already sensed how the mana around him had increased by a large margin as if he entered a cultivation realm if this was a cultivation novel.

"Well... I guess this is where everything begins, huh?" he muttered, running in a direction to get out of the forest.
