THE BARRIER

"In name of the Legion family, I command you, KNEEL"

As those words got out of Valeria's mouth, the three generals along with Mark fell on their knees immediately as a heavy force forced them to. The three generals did not even try to protest, but Mark was trying to cancel out the effect.

"What the hell.. How powerful is she?" He wondered as he struggled in vain to stand.

"Is there anyone else who wishes to question us?" Poki asked, looking at the summoned. They all shook their heads as they stared at the four kneeling people. The elders and the bishop were all shocked to hear the names of such families being stated right in front of them.

"We do apologize for displaying such an unsightly display to all of you," Poki said.

"N-No worries... We are also at fault for not being able to welcome you three in a better way." Tyra said.

"If all is done now, kindly take us to the place we need to go," Valeria said, her mood somewhat bitter. As they followed the bishop and the elders, Mitsuki stopped for a bit and turned to look at Emilia then continued walking.

"Who was he looking at?" Virginia asked, looking at Emilia.

"Um, Emilia?"

Emilia was in a trance as she sensed some form of familiarity from the masked person.

"Emilia! Are you here with me?" Virginia asked, shaking Emilia.

"Huh??. Oh, yeah, I'm fine." She said. As the tree went further and further away, the pressure affecting the generals and Mark gradually disappeared.

"We need to apologize quick about this... If word gets to the main family branch..." Marcus said, composing himself as he stood up. Liz walked up to Mark, helping him up.

".... Are you okay Mark?" she asked. Mark walked away from them up to a dark corner. He smashed his fist onto the ground as he grit his teeth.

"Those b!tches... They disrespected me!" He muttered as his anger continued to grow. Suddenly, a dark mist appeared all over the ground and a dark being hugged Mark.

"Poor poor Mark.. These people do not know how powerful you will become..." the figure said

"What.. Are you?" Mark asked.

"Let's just say a being who will help you, Mark... I have a suggestion for you, one that can give you power..."

"Power, you say?? "

Back in his realm, Allon smiled.

"That white haired sly fox will not see this coming," Allon thought as his smile changed into a wide evil grin."

"Yes Mark, power, a lot of it." He said.

"Poki, Valeria, you are up." Mitsuki said telepathically to them.

"Okay, we shall carry out the plan now," They both said as they broke from the group.

"Um, where might you be going?" The bishop asked in a low tone, afraid to upset them.

"Let them be, I have commanded them to do something." Mitsuki said aloud.

The elders, Tyra who had followed them and the bishop were a bit shocked.

"Yes, I can talk." Mitsuki said, "Due to some specific reasons, I cannot speak while I am near the Summoned, kindly understand."

"O- Of course s-sir, we understand."

Mitsuki sighed.

"As you go on, kindly talk to us in a casual tone," Mitsuki said.

"W-We shall try our best.." The Bishop said.

"Well now, we're off." Poki said. Mitsuki opened a portal for them as he waved at them.

"Take care," He said.

"Don't worry, we will come back to you, and you'll need to reward us," Poki said, winking at him as they went through the portal.

Underneath his mask, Mitsuki was completely red.

"What the hell does she mean by reward.."

"Let us keep going," the bishop said as they led him to the centermost part of the city.

There was a tall structure, a tower like structure that stood tall. It had a gold finish and had supporting beams made of dragon scales. The nearby buildings were built a bit far from the pillar, leaving a circular space that was well maintained. Mitsuki walked up to the front of the structure, where there was a blank sphere placed inside a hole. Intricate patterns were all around the tower, originating from where the orb was being placed. Everyone else moved far behind and only Tyra went next to Mitsuki.

"I am always tasked with transferring the divinity to this sphere," She said, pointing at the empty orb,

"Oh, so you know ow to use divinity? That's commendable," Mitsuki said.

"Thank you, but I'm not really good at it yet, there is always some divinity I can't control, so it spews out as I transfer it."

"Hmm.. Do it now, then I shall tell you the necessary corrections that you need to do." Mitsuki said as he made the orb to appear. Tyra closed her eyes as she tried to focus.

"Edit: create a mana vacuum" She mumbled.

"Oh.. she has the edit skill.. She is using it to create a vacuum that has no mana in it between the orb I am holding and the orb embedded in the tower.. Why...."

"If I make a mana vacuum, I can easily control Divinity without using a lot of energy to move it without mixing it with mana." She said.

Mitsuki could see the divinity that was spewing out from the path Tyra was using.

"True.. a lot of it is lost, at this rate, more than quarter of it will be lost," he thought as he placed his hand on Tyra's back.

"Close your eyes and remember this feeling well." He said as he controlled Tyra's divinity in her body, making it to circulate all round.

"Now, try to make your energy to move towards your hands,"

A golden light started glowing from underneath Tyra's skin as she started getting the feeling of controlling her divinity.

"Good, now make it exit from your body towards the other pathway that you have built. Fuse your divinity with Aqua's, then control it as a whole, I will help you, since it might be too pire for your body to handle,"

Tyra focused, releasing her divinity and fusing it with Aqua's. She started struggling as she felt the pure amount of power that Aqua's divinity had, but all in all, she was amazed at the efficiency of the technique.

"You can feel it right? Now the energy loss is insignificant, that way the barrier can last longer," Mitsuki said as he looked at the other orb. A blue liquid like substance started filling it as the patterns started glowing, progressing upwards. A blue beam shot into the sky from the tower as a gigantic magic circle covered the skies. Everyone in the city saw it and bowed down as a golden pulse shot out of the spell circle, curving downwards in a curved manner, all around the city, pulsing continuously downwards towards the ground.

"You did well, leave the rest to me," Mitsuki said as a golden aura surrounded him.

He controlled the divinity flawlessly into the other orb in a fast rate. Tyra was in awe of what she was seeing. A mana disturbance in the area caused a wind like effect, causing their clothes to billow.

"He is perfectly doing this.... There is no divinity being lost to the surrounding... Amazing.." Tyra thought.

The golden pulse changed its color gradually into a blue color as the other orb Mitsuki had on his hand emptied out, completely. A bright blue insignia of Aqua appeared above the city. It then suddenly cracked into tiny pieces, falling down like snow, lighting up the place with a neon blue shade. The bells in the cathedral rung as the blue light got absorbed into it, making it to glow a faint gold color. Everyone who was there, including the villagers who had seen the process countless of times, adored the grand beauty,as they had never seen it be so vivid during the other years.

"This blue light... It is the same as described in the books, when Lord Aqua himself came down and blessed the town himself!" Tyra muttered, looking around.

"I will show you something even more beautiful," Mitsuki said as he snapped his fingers. The blue snow like energy falling from the skies suddenly froze in their positions. Their blue shade became more vivid as they all rose up back to the sky, arranging themselves into a rose like pattern. The Summoned, including Mark, all looked up in the sky, adoring the beauty. The place was quiet with the bells of the cathedral echoing all over the place and the sky had darkened.

"Mitsuki never fails to impress us," Poki said to Valeria as they watched from where they were as they smiled.

Suddenly, the blue light started changing gradually into a crimson red as a spell circle surrounded the whole village.

Mitsuki removed his mask, revealing that he was actually smiling all that time.

"Bring it on, Demons.. I swear I will protect them all.." He thought. All this time, he had failed to notice that everyone who was there was looking at him. To all of them, he looked like an unreachable person, a god of some sorts because of his demeanor, his divinity control, hisface, golden eyes, white hair and a calm aura all around him. Tyra was simply awestruck as Mitsuki turned to face her, his smile still there. Only one thought was in Tyra's mind:

"Holy....."

"I think we are done here, can you lead me to the resting place?" He asked, looking directly at her.

"S-Sure thing!"

As they went, the now red rose in the air gradually vanished, leaving the town in awe.

 ********

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Allon remarked as he saw the grand show Mitsuki had done through Mark's eyes.

"What was the point in all of that might be a question you might have, Dimaz," Allon said, looking at Dimaz, who was being controlled by Allon.

"It's simple, he placed a barrier all around the city without anyone else noticing and also, it was a message to me or rather; us demons."

"A red rose created above a city, he replicated what happened millions of years ago... When Aurendor fought against Lord Lucifer before the era of creation.... A red rose, the skill our Lord used.... HE DARES TO REPLICATE IT?" Allon shouted as the blood like liquid in his realm became unstable. A large scythe appeared from the blood, in front of Dimaz.

"TAKE IT." Allon commanded angrily as he banged his throne with so much force

"Now you have made me really angry, BOY..." He said. For a split second, he saw Dimaz smile, but he just ignored it

"He will never win against me, at all, smile, laugh and even grovel on the ground, but nothing he does will be successful!"

"I might disagree with that." A voice said from behind. Allon's eyes widened as he turned to look behind.

"What... Are you doing here..!!"

Mitsuki smiled as he summoned Aquourus.

"Who knows?" He said as the two dashed towards Dimaz.

"No!" Allon said as he tried to command Dimaz to move.

"Damn it!! Move bastard!"

"Don't tell me youre weak enough to be completely submissive to his ability Dimaz!" Mitsuki shouted as he stretched his hand towards him. Dimaz held Mitsuki's hand as he shouted.

"Of course not!"

Immediately, Allon dashed at supersonic speeds towards Mitsuki, choking him as he dashed away with him.

"Bastard! How did you get in here!"

Mitsuki coughed out blood, but still smiled.

"You were too careless to assume all I had done was to rig your realm!" He shouted back as he lifted his middle finger to Allon as he vanished.

"Body double"

Allon looked behind and saw Dimaz and Mitsuki on top of Aquourus.

"Bastard, you thought I would foolishly allow you to even catch me? I know I'm far far weaker than you mate," Mitsuki said as their bodies started vanishing.

"Bye bye, take care!" Mitsuki said before they completely vanished, leaving Allon there, now very angry. His aura burst all over the place. He grit his teeth as two large dark wings grew out of his back.

"So, this is the way you want this to go boy? Very well then.. I shall come there myself.. You will suffer boy, you, WILL SUFFER!"

Allon's aura and Anger was felt by all the demons as it shook their foundations, yet if anyone saw him, they would be confused because:

He was smiling.
