He Could Be Mean

"What are you doing here?" Roy asked the moment he stormed into his house. His face was completely devoid of any emotion.

While standing in front of his girlfriend, he gave off an unwelcoming feeling, and she would be pretending if she didn't notice it.

"You're back," Rebecca smiled as she slowly rose to her feet so she wouldn't have to sprain her neck from having to maintain eye contact with his towering height.

"Don't make me repeat the question." Roy was in no mood for jokes. He didn't care about the feelings of the woman standing in front of him or how long they had known each other.

He was too pissed with her aggressive behaviour that he concluded she didn't deserve to be treated with respect.

It was at this point that Rebecca understood the source of his anger. No matter what, Roy shouldn't have to question her presence in his home first thing after returning from work unless he knew about her almost beating up the woman he kept.
