"Why did you come down here? Didn't you agree to stay up there to keep a lookout?" Leng Yuchen seemed to know that something was wrong from Shi Zhiwen's panicky expression, which explained his unfriendly tone.

"Do you see An Qi?" Leng Yuchen asked.

"Why don't you stay longer to accompany your colleague?" he then asked her.

"Do you think it's possible for me to sit still after I saw that video?" An Qi asked.

Leng Yuchen shrugged. "I just thought I should show you the raw truth. If you don't like it, I can send someone to investigate the matter in private."

While he was talking, An Qi was looking into Leng Yuchen's eyes. After careful observation, she found that Leng Yuchen was absolutely serious.

"No! I don't want you to investigate it in private," An Qi said.

"Oh? I thought you didn't like to see those videos." Leng Yuchen stared at An Qi.

"I mostly don't like to hear the screams," An Qi said as she gulped hard. "But, since I am the one who caused all of the pain, I feel that I have to pay attention to it."

An Qi then took a deep breath and plucked up her courage as she said, "Yuchen, I am giving you a definite answer now... I will agree to marry you."

Leng Yuchen had already anticipated that An Qi would agree to his proposal, but when he actually heard the words come from An Qi personally, he almost fainted with excitement. But, he forced himself to hold back his emotions by clasping his hands so tightly that they were starting to turn white!

As he remained silent, An Qi thought that Leng Yuchen may have changed his mind. She was so anxious that she approached him until she was only inches from him, then stood on her tiptoes and attempted to look him straight in his eyes.

Unfortunately, due to their differences in height, even though An Qi stood on her tiptoes, her eyes were not in line with Leng Yuchen's. Seeing this, Leng Yuchen squatted down to make it easier for An Qi.

"Yuchen, whether I agree to marry you or not, I still need your help now. I need your abilities, your resources, and pretty much everything else so that I can keep certain people safe. After listening to An Qi's words, Leng Yuchen gulped hard. An Qi was still staring at him, awaiting his reply.

This question required no processing on his part, as the answer would definitely be yes! The next second, Leng Yuchen suddenly took An Qi in his arms, turned around, and carried her to the sports car.

Seeing them approaching, Shi Zhiwen left quietly. The only thing he could do for An Qi now was to take good care of Auntie Sun for her.

He would also pretend that he did not go downstairs and see anything just now. He was willing to be simply a shadow around An Qi from now on, protecting her.

But, she did not know how long Leng Yuchen had waited for this moment, nor how excited he was. After all, just a few minutes ago, she was wondering if he even wanted to marry her. But, the next moment, Leng Yuchen proved to An Qi with his actions just how much attention he paid to her.

This was because he called Sheng Jie to delay the lunch break of the Ministry Affairs Bureau! Sheng Jie knelt down when he received the phone call. After he heard the news, he thought...
