Stephen smiled and continued reading the rest of the content. After about half an hour, he got up, took a shower, and returned to the room.

He pushed the door open. Thea Queen was laying on the bed, facing away from the doorway, with her shoulders exposed under the covers.

It seemed she wasn't wearing pajamas only silk nightgown.

Stephen walked over with a chuckle, laid down, and gently turned her around by holding her shoulders. Their eyes met, and Thea Queen embraced Stephen and nestled into his arms. He held her slender body, which felt a bit smaller than a regular pillow, but It was a moment to cherish.

The night was exceptionally quiet.
