A Lion’s journey (Twilight 1st)(Harry Potter 2nd)(Marvel 3rd)(PJO 4th)

Follow the Mc, a Nemean Lion shifter as he travels through the multiverse. This is a harem fic with Mc imprinting on a single women per verse. And it wouldn’t be completely illogical as Lion’s are polygamous creatures. So far the love interests for the next worlds are: Rosalie Hale, Nymphadora Tonks, Natasha Romanoff and Aphrodite. 1- Twilight 2- Harry Potter 3- Marvel 4- Percy Jackson

Chapter 4 - Vain

"Hi, I'm Rosalie Hale."

I just kept staring at the blonde vampire, dumbfounded, my mind still unable to completely process what happened.

She seemed to be waiting for my introduction, as she kept staring at me her usual frown less intense, than when she entered the room.

"Leo… Leonidas Swan." I muttered in hurry, stammering as the words left my lips.

As soon as I had finished my introduction, the math teacher started giving the lecture. Not caring the slightest about introducing me. Something I preferred to the usual awkward presentation some teachers demanded.

As soon as the class started Rosalie's focus switched from me to the front of the classroom.

I kept thinking of any plausible reason on why she introduced herself but always came up empty. The only logical explanation would be that I'm in some sort of alternate universe. Taking a peek at the bombshell to my right, she was writing diligently in her notebook like any normal student. But unlike the rest, her calligraphy was sublime, the letters so precisely written it could pass for a printed text with those fancy font that are generally found on wedding invitations. It was exactly what I expected of someone with her looks and supernatural abilities perfect in every way possible, even while performing mundane things such as writing. A detail that was left out of the books and movies.

The more I discreetly observed her the more I realized the character and people around me were actual real people, and not simple ink on pages.

My staring must not have been so discreet as she turned her head to stare at me with a raised eyebrow.

Quickly thinking of something to not look like a creep, I asked. "Could you lend me a pen?"

I could see her eyes examine my face for a couple of second, before taking a quick glance at my unopened backpack laying on the cold dirty floors.

She however didn't question it and simply reached with her delicate fingers into her purse. And pulled out a black and gold finely crafted fountain pen, probably worth more than Bella and I's old Chevy. And by the Montblanc logo on the cap my assumption wasn't wrong.

[The pen]

Looking at the expensive fountain pen, I wondered why she would lend me something of the sort didn't she have any normal ones. Looking at the one she was using to write, I realized she probably didn't as the pen laying on her side of the table looked even more expensive than the one she was currently handing to me.

" Thanks, I'll make sure to return it." I said as I took the pen from her delicate fingers and started actually paying attention to the lecture.

" You better." She said and got back to writing in her notebook.

As the class progressed, I started feeling unwell, a little sick to the stomach. But it was bearable so I fought trough it.

Once the class came to an end, I turned around to give Rosalie her pen back but all I could catch was her fleeting locks of blonde hair as she left the room.

'I'll give it to her next time I thought as I stored the fountain pen in my backpack.' Before walking up to the teacher to get my attendance slip signed.

~~~~~
Rosalie (POV)
Since my supposed mate, soul mate, eternal love or whatever people called it these days embarked on that plane to Forks, Washington. My sister Alice wouldn't shut up about it.
I mean she was making a bigger deal out of the situation than me, the person that is actually involved in this whole ordeal.
It's not that I was unhappy with his arrival, on the contrary I was eager to finally meet my other half. The years I had to endure around Carlisle and Esme and more recently Alice and Jasper, were quite taxing.
Especially for someone like me, I'm used to have everything I have ever desired served to me on a silver platter. After what happened to me, most people would think I wouldn't want to be in a relationship anytime soon.
But the happiness and joy, these vampire couples showcased made me have hope. The constant bitterness at my lack of childbearing capabilities can't be remedied, but I at least want to have the happiness, joy and love they constantly exhibited. It was hard for me to admit but after the dozens of years spent at their side, I realized I was irrevocably jealous. Jealous of their happiness, jealous of their joy and mostly jealous of their love.
Shaking my head out of my reemerging thoughts I focused once again on the task at hand. I was currently seated in front of my vanity mirror. Weaving my hair brush trough my already perfectly styled hair. But even though it looked perfect I was still trying my best to improve my looks. After all that's all I ever had, the only constant in both my human and undead life.
*KNOCK*KNOCK*
"Come in." I replied without taking my eyes off of my reflection.
"Are you ready?" Asked an excited Alice as she pocked her head through the ajar door.
I simply raised my eyebrow slightly in defiance, 'was I ready?'.
"Do I look ready?" I asked as I stood up from my vanity chair and walked up to Alice. My height towering over the small vampire.
Looking up at me, a smile spread on her rosy lips before she nodded. "You look great Rosalie!" She exclaimed, her joy practically radiating from her.
I simply nodded at her compliment, after all she was simply stating a fact.
"Ok, let's go. The others are probably waiting in the car." I said as I walked out of my room, grabbing my leather bag on the way out.
(A/N Explanation,
So for those of you who didn't know, Rosalie is portrayed as vain, shallow. Kind of like a diva type of person. And all of that is due to her upbringing.
Now a little fact about vampires, vampires personality are unchangeable. They keep the same personality as when they were human. So that explains why Rosalie is still so vain even after living for 70+ years as a vampire.
But there is an exception to this previous statement, their personality changes when they meet their significant other. And after they're bonded it's over they dont change for the rest of their lives till his or her death. Since in this timeline she never met Emmet, she is still as vain as the day she was turned.)
