Now that we had been on the news, people seemed to be afraid of Jason and I. Not all were. A lot were cool about it and wanted to take pictures. Jason and I were getting married today and I was so excited. I was eight weeks pregnant and my baby bump wasn't very big, but it wouldn't have bothered me if it was. I sat in a chair in front of a mirror as my aunt braided my hair and my mom did my makeup. When they finished, I put on my dress. It was a traditional white dress with lace over my shoulders, across my back, and over my arms.
"You're so beautiful, Honey." My aunt smiled as I studied myself in the mirror. I was beautiful. My red hair was in a braided crown around my head and I wore a flower crown over my veil. My dress was so long that I feared that I would trip over it. Mom handed me the flowers as the door opened.
"Are you ready?" Uncle shielded his eyes.
"Yes." I replied. My aunt linked her arm in mine and we followed him out. We were getting married on the beach and there was a spot where we had to go through trees to get to the beach. We made our way there and when Uncle went ahead, he told them I was here. The music started and my aunt and mom walked me down the red carpet, each with their arm linked in mine. "Don't let me trip."
"Never." My aunt smiled. Everyone stood when they saw me, enough emotional expressions to go around. Jason stood by the alter on a platform in the sand. I was happy I didn't wear heels because I would either lose a shoe or struggle to walk. Jason wore a black tuxedo and his black hair was pulled back and combed nicely. He looked so handsome. He stepped down when I got to the platform and helped me up, my aunt and mom going to their seats with the flowers. Jason and I stood in front of each other, holding each other's hands. The Priest began talking and the Vows came quickly.
"Do you, Blake Vanderweele, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"And do you, Jason-"
"I do." He interrupted. The Priest paused for a moment.
"You may kiss the Bride." Jason pulled me closer, placing his arms around me and kissing me. Everyone cheered and clapped. I smiled, pulling away. Jason picked me up and went down the platform to the water. I pushed my hands up to the sky, water spraying up like water fountains.
"Jason, don't go in the water! Those clothes are expensive!" My aunt called. Jason just spun around with me in his arms then kissed me again.
"I love you." He smiled.
"I love you too."

I gave birth at thirty-nine weeks to a baby girl. We named her Aleena and she had dark brown hair and gray eyes. Jason and I bought a house close to my aunt and uncle where we had enough space to raise Aleena and we taught her how to swim at a young age. We had no plans to hide who she would be from her. We lived happily and peacefully with no regrets. When Aleena was five, we had a baby boy named Lucas. There was nothing better than growing our family and loving each other. We couldn't ask for anything better.
