My support

Kai arrived at a room that was painted dull grey with no furniture. After they left the garden, they first arrived at the dining to fill their stomachs before talking about the situation at hand because in this world, food was not to be trifled with!

"Are you sure you want to talk about this in an audience?" Kai asked. He didn't want to shock them more than needed or the gods might as well have achieved their goal.

Lucifer looked at his wife, her eyes were still glowing, which was to show that she was on high alert, that was not good for her blood pressure. He sighed and said to them

"I'll be gone for a while... Leon take care of your mother" he said standing up to take Kai somewhere private.

Now in the inner walls that sounds seemed to freeze in, Lucifer was looking at him with a gaze that said 'you better start talking', well... He was going to anyway, he just couldn't think of where to start.

Kai cleared his throat and started. " What do you even want to know?"

Lucifer looked at him. There was one question that has been bothering him since. "Why did you want the amulet?" This was where everything started.

Kai just gazed at him, he cleared his throat awkwardly and said "Another question". This just confused Lucifer more. For him to be reluctant to share this information it means it was even more important than this gods propaganda.

"What specie are you?" There was no need dwelling on that if he was not willing to share, matter of fact he was going to use this opportunity to gather as many information as he could, let him know how deep he was in the matter.

"I'm not a demon" Kai just said. It seemed he wasn't willing to share this also.

Lucifer just looked at him with an incredulous expression, he wasn't satisfied with this answer at all.

Kai sighed and said with a childish smile "Truth is, I don't even know myself. My blood line is complicated but the dominant part of me is dragon... I'm not a hybrid though."

Lucifer stared at him. He was finding it hard to believe that someone that didn't even know what they were had caused him this much trouble, and the weirdly cute smile of his made things worse. Now he was starting to believe Leon when he said he had two personalities.

"Why don't you have a surname?" This was another suspicious link, and he was right since the white haired man just remained silent. After some time he asked another.

"Why... The gods... What did you do to anger them?" Lucifer asked.

Kai chuckled and said "Just being born"

This time Lucifer didn't rebuke him. He could see the pain in his eyes. For the gods to target someone since their birth was just creepy. Now he was really curious about this man.

"Why don't you tell me... Ummm... About what happened?" He said.

"Then what will you give me in exchange?" Kai asked, his stance clear.

Lucifer grimaced when he heard that. He was not going to be careless and enter a losing game with the man. There was one thing though that they were already loosing, he could give it to him.

"My support" he said confident.

Kai nodded and found a place to sit, it was going to be a long talk.
