In a garden that was once decorated to the brim, a man with black eyes was looking at the losses he incurred glumly. The soil and pasture were missing as all that was left was blackened dust and a few disheveled people. Most were injured. The loss of lives they incurred was unbelievable. Almost all his descendants had arrived to the wedding, now more than half were gone despite his attempts to reduce the loss. He was able to stop the earth from attacking but at a high price. This left a very bitter taste in Lucifer's mouth. He turned to the cause of all this.

Kai was looking at a sheet of paper as he held unto his granddaughter. His wife that was behind him sat down on the only green patch of grass, protected, but surrounded by shriveled vines. His son was next to her.

He grudgingly looked at Kai and said. "You really are something..."

He really thought he made a good and profitable decision exchanging his granddaughter for the amulet, if he knew there would be much more lives involved he would have reconsidered, albeit reluctantly. But he didn't know he would have gotten on the bad side of the gods, infact any choice he made would have still been a loss since he treasured the amulet and feared the gods at the same time.

Kai just looked at him. The emotions in eyes were no longer concealed. They both had the same enemy now, there was no need to hold back, it would only affect him anyway. He glanced at the paper and placed it in the pocket of his suit jacket. He still felt there was something big coming for his brother to warn him.

"Let's talk about this inside" he said looking at the the darkened man expression with a clear gaze. He was going to come clean. He turned to his brother who was still looking at his phone despite the chaos as the people around him rested from the Earth's onslaught and said,

"Let's go..." They stood up and followed him leaving the disheveled servants behind.

Lucifer looked at them and told Lucian to direct them to the storage unit so they could place the goods. As for the flowers, they had joined the earth in their attack, making the maidservants almost loose their lives, good thing they were not just everyday servants as they had a semblance of self defense. He then looked at the his remaining people who were either too tired, traumatized or injured to move and said.

"All of you, none of what transpired here leaves here, the people that can move should help the injured and go to the infirmary, I will place Lucian to supervise the affairs. If a single rumor leeks out about the attack..." He stopped and didn't continue. He knew it would be hard to explain the deaths of more than a hundred descendants, but he would resolve it later after making head of the situation. For now they should remain silent.

He looked at his wife, took her hand and led the way. It was going to be a long talk.
