Recovery:

I was in a deep sleep lying on my bed until I smelt an odd smell, why does it smell like something burning, my eyes shot open, as I leaned up in my bed,

I look around and notice that Sadow isn't sleeping on the bed, I quickly stand up and run towards the burning smell, I come to a grinding stop on the wooden floor before ending up in the kitchen,

To my surprise I watch Sadow trying to cook, she standing on a small wooden stool and has a skillet on the oven, but clearly whatever she's trying to cook in burning,

" What are you trying to cook Sadow, " I say walking towards her, she looks at me with a bright smile,

" I'm cooking us breakfast isn't it obvious mister, " She says, I walk closer to the oven and look inside the skillet, black smoke is pouring out of it with three charred slices of bread inside it,

" Uh, you do know that us Spirits don't need to eat food, we eat souls, not food- " Before I could finish my sentence she looks at me with an evil glare,

" But of course, you can cook Sadow, " I say with a grin on my face, she just nods with a grin on her face, I think she just wants to cook I think while letting out a sigh,

I go over and sit on the living room couch before turning on the tv, there should only be an hour and a half until the sun rises, My roommate, Kita hasn't been back in this dorm, she's most likely in a hospital,

It'll take at least a week for her to recover, I look to my right and see Sadow walking towards me with a white plate, she sits the plate on the couch, before sitting next to me,

I stare at the three burnt pieces of bread before Sadow grabs one of them and hands it to me, I grab the piece of bread before taking a bite out of it, and unsurprising it tastes awful,

I just have to act like it's good or Sadow will probably try to kill me,

"It's good Sadow, " I say while eating the rest of the burnt bread in one bite,

" Is it really?" She says with her eyes glowing with happiness, I nod my head at her before I grab another piece of bread,

Sadow and I sat there watching Tv for an hour and a half until the sun started to rise, I stand up from the couch before stretching, I extend my hand as Sadow transform into a spear, I put the spear on my back as I exit the dorm,

I guess, I will head back towards Tanaba's classroom, I start walking towards the classroom before I woman runs next to me,

" How are you doing Liberio," She says to me, Ah this is the blond-haired woman I met in Tanaba classroom,

" I guess I could be better Sally, but what about you? " I ask her she grins at me before putting her arms behind her back,

" I'm doing good, I'm just surprised you remembered my name, you seem like a person with a lot on your mind, " She says,

" What do you mean? " I ask her,

"Every time I look at you, your eyes are always unfocused in front of you, you're always lost in your mind, makes me wonder, what you're thinking so heavily about, " She says to me while staring into my eyes,

" Make I'm thinking about you Sally, " I say with a grin on my face, she rolls her eyes at me before we both start walking towards Tanaba's classroom, on the way towards Tanaba's classroom, I did find out that Kita was put in critical condition in the hospital but,

After walking for a few minutes me and Sally end up at the classroom, we enter the room and instantly I notice that there are far fewer people there, which makes sense since I killed some of her students, I lean back in my chair before Tanaba enters her classroom, she stands up at the podium with a serious look in her eyes,

" I'm sorry to announce that five students in this classroom died due to the surprise spirit attack yesterday, but even though we lost those precious souls we will still have class," She says

Looks like school is the same even in this realm, you would think they close the school after so many students died but oh well,

Tanaba starts talking about the essence of soul energy, telling us where it originates, I truly didn't care enough to listen, but after an hour of hearing her talk, my eyes lid got heavier and I started to fall asleep,

Sally must have noticed this because she tapped my shoulder, to get my attention, I look at her before she hands me a piece of paper, I open the paper and its a drawing of me falling asleep at my desk,

I look back at her and see a grin on her face, I ignore her and put the paper on the desk before sighing, how much longer until this damn class ends, I thought this until a voice yelled out

" Liberio and Sally is something funny? " said Tanaba looking at us, Sally gets shocked at her talking towards us, Sally was about to say something before I pick up the piece of paper she handed me,

"It's just a drawing that Sally made, It just shows me falling asleep, " I say to Tanaba, she looks at me annoyed,

" Is that funny to you Liberio, " She asks me,

" Not really, I'm quite disappointed actually, I thought that Sally was going to finally confess her feeling for me on this paper, but it was a just drawing, " I say with a grin on my face,

I glance at Sally looking at me with wide eyes, I chuckle at her before I look at Tanaba pointing at me,

" Hey, Libeiro come down here, " I follow her request and walk down the stairs, I walk directly in front of her,

" I know this is only your second day here but why are you acting like such a brat, " She asks staring up at me,

" Maybe because my roommate was put in critical condition because you couldn't protect your students, " I say in a harsh tone of voice, we glare at each other until the door of the classroom opens...
