the voice of the golden silhouette left Alma puzzled... but before he could ask anything... the silhouette appeared in front of him as if space played no importance to him and a hand of light touched his forehead.

I have to say that the more I listened... Alma's eyes became more complicated... although I didn't hear much about this at her university... since she was part of the Surgery department...

she did hear that in the physics department.. they theorized something they called Filter.. a natural Filter that every race has to overcome to advance...

from the first filter that the inanimate materials of the planet generate a living cell.. then that the complexity of it grows to create more complex animals.. and not only cells.. and then that evolution generates Intelligence...

something that life on earth managed to overcome... But it is theorized that since no other kinds of life were discovered in the universe... The human race could be about to crash into the next filter...

[Our civilization has managed to overcome 4 Filters... our 4th Filter was the ability to harness the energy of the star and with that.. to expand our race to the entire solar system... We are not sure which is the 5th Filter... but we will not be able to discover it either... our star is about to implode..... in any case... we hope that this vial will manage to help life in this universe to improve beyond the fourth Filter... it has the ability to anchor with the timeline of the Planet itself... giving the ability to its carrier to travel 10.000 years at most to the past... this is achieved by making the Chip create a singularity "Bridge" between one time and the other... [Capability 2] Temporal Singularity... can create a temporal bridge.. of at most 10,000 years into the past on the same planet... allowing the living being to cross it... But as it is the Past the physical interactions do not work...

[Capability 2.2] Specter... Can turn the User into a wraith by traveling into the past.. although it cannot interact with matter physically.. it allows the user to Speak telepathically with sentient life in the past...

in the other civilization it seemed that there were time cels that prevented changes in the timeline.. but on earth they do not exist.. so any change to the past.. will affect the present future.. and not the near past...

-it seems that there is a kind of automatic protection in time.. that does not allow exaggerated changes to the timeline.. and the very big changes will simply show up in their current time...
