The End... or??

You know when people make fun of Vietnam flashbacks, yeah, they shouldn't. Cause its fucking traumatic. Why? Kinda simple, you act depressed all the time all because, all you can think of, are the lives you have taken, the lives that you have witnessed being taken. Its blood, guts and pain all the time, always flashing in your memories.

*sigh* just a little bit of context to get my story going. My name is Darius Black, I am a marine in the allied forces. I was born in the United states but I spent most of my cognitive life growing up in Europe.

To put it very simply, there was war. Imagine the cold war, but this time, it became a hot war that escalated to the point where the big red buttons were pushed. Europe and Africa became no mans land, and the Pacific became a war zone. As a marine i was stationed in the Pacific.

And well I died, the final battle. The massacre of St Petersburg. When I say massacre i don't mean one side destroying the other. I mean practically nothing left of both sides. Though to be fair i died in a hospital in Washington DC, my injuries where too great. I survived the war only to die in bed.

Some would say that a death like that is pathetic, not me. During the war I began living by the code "A good man dies for others, but a great man lives for others". So I lived, until I was no longer needed. Then I died.

Now im confused.

Why am I seeing someone?

"Hey, where am I, this better not be some space between spaces bullshit, like limbo or whatever."

"Don't give me the silent treatment."

...

"Oooook, this is... idk how to describe this."

"Greetings Darius Black"

I jump at the sudden greeting. "Uuuh, greetings Mr. uuh." Not knowing who this being is I stare at Him? Her? I cant really tell.

Most of this being is hidden by a bright light

"For simplicity's sake you may call me Boss" Its response puzzles me, isn't it god thats supposed to be in charge?

"Not important, you are here because the process to reincarnate you is slightly different." Wait is reincarnation normal? Is this what happens to everyone?

"Yes, reincarnation is what normally happens, however yours is going to be rather different. In some ways it's similar to what your familiar with but with a few differences." This bitch just casually reads my mind, I've got private shit in here. But it just continues its monologue on how im different.

"The main reason your reincarnation is different is because im giving you a task. You are being sent to the world of Naruto to hlep defeat the Akatsuki, Madara Uchiha and Kaguya Otsutsuki."

Thats... cool, wait. "Why do they need help? Don't the ninjas defeat her without multiverse help in canon?" I answer with a bit of apprehension.

"Canon for you is only what Kishimoto drew and narrated, realities canon is different. The canon of reality had one element in it that kishimoto, could not explain. You. He could not explain you, how you were there, why you were there. But there was one thing he did understand, you were essential for the shinobi alliance to claim victory against Kaguya, Madara and the Akatsuki."

This threw me for a big loop, Kishimoto saw me when he dreamt up Naruto? What did it mean Kishimoto couldn't explain me? Why was I even there to begin with? *sigh* this is getting annoying. I compress my thoughts into one question. "Why was I an essential component in the machine that defeated the collective bad guys?" The answer to that should shine light on almost everything else..

"I will not tell you everything, as you will have to find out for yourself, but I can tell you that The Akatsuki, Madara and Kaguya are much stronger in reality compared to Kishimoto's version. That is why I am sending you, because not only do you have experience with war, but you have the knowledge of the plot and the knowledge of techniques and abilities that are not known to the inhabitants of the Narutoverse. Now you have five wishes to assist you on your new adventure."

Ok. Ok ok ok. Five wishes to make myself overpowered enough to defeat the enemy of all mankind in the Narutoverse.

Nice.

Its my first story, hope you all like it.

I have at least three wishes that I've already decided on, don't know what the last two will be, I'm open to suggestions.
