[ 3rd person pov ]

On a beautiful night all the half-blooded campers then enjoy themselves drinking and chit-chatting with their friends.

I on the other hand is just walking my way up to my cabin while viewing the beautiful night sky and before I could take another step a presence then stop me from my hike.

"Lael. " a silent voice then calls me from behind turning around I then see Annabeth walking towards me.

" what is it anna, are you perhaps want to accompany me from my hike towards the cabin? " I said smiling.

" yeah...sure I would love to. " Annabeth said and just like that I and her then walk our way towards my cabin.

Arriving at the cabin she then goes to the cliff and sat in there, looking at her I then make my way inside the cabin and take some hot choco before I make my way towards her and give her one which she took it gratefully.

" thank you. " she said making me smile.

" no worries. " I said back before putting my head on her shoulder.

Just then a sudden smell suddenly penetrates my nose and I know what kind of scent I'm sensing.

"Father...." I whispered under my breath before getting up and on my footing startling Annabeth and I just sprint through the camp.

Arriving at the scene I then see a fire demon presenting a woman who is calling for help in front of Jackson who is in a shocking state.

" Father!! " I shouted where the winged fire demon and all the half-blooded turned around in my direction.

" Lael. " he said while looking at me with happiness.

" take care. " he said again before disappearing in thin air leaving only a little Phoenix that give me a gentle little peak in my forehead before disappearing again in thin air making my heart soften.

" take care also Father. " I thought in my head while looking at the fireplace that is burning strongly and beautifully.

" Chiron I have to go get her. " Jackson said in a worried tone.

" no...you cannot go and interrogate with hades you don't know what tricks he is hiding under his sleeve, .....but I do have another way to help you. " Chiron said looking at me and when I see his suspicious glance towards me I just widen my eyes and point myself.

" Lael can help you with your journey in the underworld but still be cautious in your surroundings. " Chiron said going in my direction and patting my shoulders.

" go easy on him Lael, huh. " he said before leaving the campgrounds hearing it I just sigh and look at Jackson who is also looking at me with emotions that are uncomfortable to explain and without wasting time I then sigh once again. " Go pack your stuff Jackson, I don't have all day. " I said and turn my back walking my way again into my cabin.

Arriving there I then pack some snacks, just a few clothes, and also weapon for protection after all that I then put my backpack on my back and leave after I turn off all the lights.

Waiting at the camp I then see Jackson Annabeth and Groven, looking at the trio I just sigh in defeat.

Going in their direction the three then look at me before continuing their walk toward Luke's cabin.

" looks like they're ignoring me like I'm a useless atmosphere. " I said kinda chill on their attitude.

Shrugging my shoulders I then follow them from behind while humming some random tunes that my mouth makes.

Arriving at a cabin the three then open the door without knocking, going inside late I then see the trio talking with luke about his father shoes taking a box a flying shoes then merging out.

"I never thought you will break into your father's house. " I said looking coldly at him.

" Yeah...the old man have many of these things, so I take one as a gift from him. " he said innocently making me forcefully smile.

I never really liked luke's innocent looks, because he is just a two faces fucker I have known it from the start when I first came here in this camp.sigh. May heaven forgive me for thinking such a creative word.

I thought still looking at him after that I then leave and just stay outside waiting for the trio to finish talking with luke.

Later on the trio then come out with a map in hand, looking at them I then put my right hand in my pocket while the other held Anna's hand.

" where's the location? " I ask glancing at Jackson with a neutral expression.

" we will go toward the garden centre in New Jersey where the first pearl is located. " Groven said which I nodded.

" I will take Annabeth with me so keep up guys. " after I said that I gently pull Annabeth out of the camp and go toward the track leading outside and when I see my motorcycle I then lead Anna toward it.

After giving her a helmet I then put on mine, sitting in the front Annabeth then sat at my back, after adjusting for a bit I then start the engine and drive off toward the location.
