A Shocking Revelation: Namjoon's True Parentage

The next day, Mr and Mrs Jung went to the Kim Mansion to speak with Mr and Mrs Kim. They were welcomed into the house by Mrs Kim.

"Good morning, Mr and Mrs Jung. Please come and sit," Mrs Kim said, gesturing towards the chairs.

"Thank you so much, Mrs Kim. Where is Mr Kim?" Mr Jung asked.

"I am here, Mr Jung. Good morning to both of you. What happened? You called us and wanted to meet. Is everything fine?" Mr Kim asked.

"We are sorry, Mr and Mrs Kim, to bother you all early in the morning. But we came here for our kids. We think we need to talk for our children's happiness. I know they were trying to convince you all in their own ways, but now things have gone out of their hands, and that's why we have come here to speak to you both," Mrs Jung explained.

Mrs Kim sighed and said, "Ji Hyun, I am sorry, but I can't agree to their marriage. Trust me, I love Namjoon very much, he is just like my kid, but..."

"But they are brothers, and that's why you can't get them married, right?" Mr Jung interrupted.

"Yes, that's right. But how did you all come to know about this?" Mr Kim asked.

"Jin called Joona yesterday and told him about this. Both were very sad, and at that time, I decided that we would speak to you all today," Mr Jung explained.

"Rhea Unni and Ki Tae Oppa, there is something I want to tell you both, a secret that has been hidden since Namjoon was born. Namjoon is not the biological son of Dan Te," Mrs Jung revealed.

"What? What are you saying, Ji Hyun?" Mr and Mrs Kim exclaimed in shock.

"Yes, you heard it correctly. Even Namjoon doesn't know about this because Dan Te and Su Ryeon didn't want him to know. They made us promise not to let anyone know about it," Mrs Jung continued.

"But how is this possible? She was pregnant and delivered a healthy baby, then how come this is possible?" Mrs Kim asked, trying to make sense of what she was hearing.

"Yes, that's all true, but her child didn't survive that day. That day, there was an accident case where the husband had already died on the spot, and the wife was brought to the hospital. The doctors tried so much to save the mother and child, but they couldn't," Mr Jung explained.

"Hospital tried to investigate about the family so that someone can take the child, but it seems that they don't have any relatives. Dan Te and I spoke with the doctor and took the child with us," Mrs Jung added.

Mr and Mrs Kim were completely shocked listening to this fact. Mr Jung continued, "When Ji Hyun and I came to know that you are not accepting this marriage because they are brothers, I thought this truth should come out. No promise is more important than the happiness of our children."

"Rhea Unni, after knowing all this, you still won't accept their marriage. We are going to tell Namjoon about his parents and then to everyone. We don't want to hide this truth anymore from anyone," Mrs Jung said firmly.

"Ji Hyun and Jung Woo, I don't know what to say. I am completely shocked. Even I want the happiness of our children. I would request that please give me time until evening. We will call you in the evening to discuss," Mrs Kim said, still processing the shocking news.

In the meantime, at the Jung Legal office, all the kids had gathered except for Kookie and Shine, who were called to BigHit for some work.

Hobi tried to comfort Namjoon, who was visibly stressed out. "Joonie, don't be stressed. Everything will be fine. Mom and Dad had gone to speak to Jin Hyung's parents," he said.

Jin, however, was not convinced. "I don't think Mom is going to agree. She was adamant with her decision," he replied.

Jimin and Suga were talking to each other in a corner, speaking in hushed tones so that no one else could hear them.

"Hyung, I am scared. What if our parents also have issues with our marriage and they don't agree to it?" Jimin said, looking worried.

Suga tried to reassure him. "Come on, Baby, don't be scared. They will accept us. I know our parents, there will be no problem," he said.

Jimin was still apprehensive. "Hyung, please, I think we should tell everyone and even our parents. I don't want any shocker coming to me like how Namjoon Hyung got. You already promised me that we will tell everyone about us, but still, no one knows," he said.

Suga nodded. "Sweetheart, I promise we will tell them, but not now. It's not the right time. Let's wait and see what Rhea aunt tells Joonie's parents," he said.

Tae walked up to Jimin and Suga who were huddled together in a corner talking quietly. "What are you guys whispering to each other?" he asked.

Jimin quickly replied, "Nothing, just talking about Jin and Namjoon Hyung."

Tae was suspicious but didn't press any further. "By the way, why didn't you try to speak to your mom about them? You should have tried convincing her," Jimin asked.

Tae let out a sigh, "Me? Are you gone mad? If mom had not listened to Jin Hyung then she is not gonna listen to me as well. In our house, the final decision is taken by mom, and no one can go against it, not even dad."

Hobi's phone rang, and he stepped aside to answer the call. It was Mrs Jung, who asked him to get everyone at home in the evening, except for Jin and Tae. She told Hobi to send them home.

After the call, Hobi informed everyone. "Guys, we have to go to our home in the evening, except for Jin and Tae. Mom wants to talk to us," he said.

Namjoon felt a sense of relief. "At least, we will know what's going on," he said.
