I didn't say it was completely absent of it, just that it wasn't blatant. A lot of these Chinese Marvel fics (or arguably any chinese fic) can be really obnoxiously heavyhanded in the use of racism and propaganda. This one was really tame in that regard, and didn't often invoke it. I can't really provide specifics since its been years since I read this and wrote the review.

You've mixed up some dialogue and are missing some lines altogether that would had made a smoother transition on scenes. Was this intentional or an oversight?

Hollywood Road by White Thirteen. He's made a few Hollywood fics with each taking a slightly different perspective/focus. Such as director, producer and actor. Great fics but Hollywood Road stood out to me as being, I believe, the only one he did where the MC was in a long-term relationship with one woman. At the start he was dating someone else for a very brief period but after that he starts a relationship with Gal Gadot and they become a power couple working together, later getting married and everything else. It was at the time the first I read a Hollywood fic where the MC wasn't a playboy banging all the stars. Hence why its really the only relationship I remember off the top of my head from a Hollywood fic.

Cover 2: Personally I rather like this one because he has that chi glow effect going on. But both are nice, imo.

I'd go for the cosmic storm. I admit I'm not that knowledgeable about the lore, but from what I recall everyone who got hit by it did get some pretty sweet powers with minimum downsides. Well, other than Ben being stuck in that form... but I also recall it being possible for him to change back, at least in some versions. So I'm sure even if they got a power that changed in them in a way they didn't like, Peter and Gwen could come up with a solution. Overall just seems like a relatively easy and safe way to get powers that are likely to be in the higher tiers. Though downside is that it'll likely become more public knowledge that they have powers if they were to follow the Baxter team.

I wonder if anyone would wrongfully connect him to Big Mom because his name is Lin. Since her name is Linlin and Lin itself is, far as I know, not a typical name in One Piece.

How does this "Fishing" system work, exactly? Is it just a figurative thing or does he have to literally, physically fish for it to count? Like, can he be "fishing" that day while still doing other things? Is it a automatic background progress? I'm just wondering why he spent the whole year seemingly doing nothing notable or worthwhile other than "fishing", which makes me assume the fishing has some activity or action to it that he has to do.
