A Fight For Respect

The classroom is stunned by Lionel's demands

Emmanuel: What the heck are you thinking Lionel? You just recovered from your fight and now you want a rematch?

Nadia: Lionel, think about what you're doing. If you couldn't beat Garvis the first time what makes you think you couldn't beat him this time?

Lionel: Cuz this time I'm serious

"Huh"

Emmanuel: That last hot must've knocked a few screws loose

Erica: Surely you most agree to his challenge senpai

Emmanuel: Erica, What are you saying?

Erica: The look in his eyes tell me he's being sincere; a flame of determination has risen from his body.

Elaina: She's right. Lionel's aura has changed; it's almost scary

Garvis: Such fire, I've never seen a student so ready for battle, and with me. This could be an opportunity to see more of his strength.

Hmm... very well I accept your challenge. After school at the gym, I'll be waiting for you

The match is set between Lionel and Garvis. Everyone grows restless as the battle approaches.

Elaina: Lionel why are you doing this? You're gonna get beat up again, you need to rest!!!!

Lionel: I'm fine, you should know better than anybody that I'm not gonna let this go until I win

Elaina: But...

Lionel: Just trust me. I know what I'm doing, and I'm gonna win

Elaina: Well... Alright

This is a rematch between the challenger Leonidas and the victor  Professor Garvis. The is one-on-one with no weapons or any assistance from the audience. The battle will be decided when one side can no longer continue. Fighters are you ready?

Alright... Let the battle begin

[Leonidas and Garvis commence their battle, both sides go on a rampage as they both seem to be equals. The students are amazed at Lionel's improvement.]

Nadia: Wow, look at Lionel go

Erica: He's definitely focused in this battle

Garvis: I see he's more determined in the battle compared to last time. I wonder if he's figured a way to control that power within him

Garvis: So I see you've gotten stronger, well lets test that

[The battle rages on between Lionel and Garvis. Lionel's power level begins to increase as the battle continues.]

Garvis: What a surge of power

Erica: Where is this coming from?

Demetrius: Is this Lionel's power?

[Garvis grunts]

Incredible...

Lionel: I'm not losing this time. If I want to get stronger, I can't let this go until I win!!!

[Lionel unleashes a flurry of attacks that all connect. Lionel's movements become so fast, Garvis can't counter.]

Elaina: Lionel... You sure have gotten strong

Referee: Garvis is unable to battle therefore the victory goes to Leonidas

Lionel: I did it

Emmanuel: I can't believe it

Nadia: He actually won

Erica: Lionel, I don't know how you did it but you did. You're more worthy of being a rival than before. I suppose I'll acknowledge your power this one time.

Grace: Wow Lionel you actually won against Garvis

Nadia: How did you get so strong so fast?

Lionel: Guess I've learned a lot over the past couple of days

Garvis: Hmm... The boy has grown. In such a short period of time. As an educator, I must work to bring the best in my students and prepare them for the real world. Guess Leonidas is one step closer.

"Leonidas, congratulations on your win. Of course, your lessons aren't over yet so consider yourself lucky; you get to live another day cuz from this day forward I'm going to work you to the bone."

Lionel: Alright, bring it on (Lionel grins)
