"Vin, you did a good job pairing them!" Zaine chuckled. She knew how hard it is to fuse, and he paired them to the most difficult to do so.

They can't help but twitch their mouths, they don't have a choice and can't complain about it.

Theo is paired with Dalia.

Von is paired with Lily.

Yuri is paired with Sora.

And Kaye is paired with Riku.

They all stared at him, their hearts aching.

"Okay guys, from now on, we must always work hard." Zaine said.

The two month hell started.

He yawned and picked up a pop tart from the desk. It was already three in the morning, and yet, he is still awake.

He stared at the wide room where they all sleep. Five beds were in front of him.

There were two on the left. In between them is the door towards the bathroom.

Another two on the right, the door leading them outside is in between them.

The one in the middle was near the window. And here he is, seating in a desk, writing and doing things.

He was busy when someone hugged him from his back.

"Hey, can't sleep?" He heard a soft voice and a hand patted his head. His head was a bit tilted to the left because of her head was in his right shoulder.

"Yeah, a bit challenged. I want to pay their parents back kindness, by teaching them fully." He said.

"How about your brother? Do you mind if he get jealous?" She asked.

"What's there for him to be jealous? And I know him, he respect those two even if he knows his strengths." He then answered.

"Looks like he's the same as you. I wonder if he could get someone as cute as me." She chuckled.

"You're not cute." He smiled. "Because you are beautiful, and everyone can say you are, but you are my only one." He then placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Dumbass!" She blushed and pinched his ear.

"Can you guys please get a room and continue your teasing there, we won't mind if you do those things!" Another woman said. She was looking at them with fiery eyes.

"You wish! You just want someone as romantic as me." The man said.

They all laughed and looked at the bed at the side of the window. It has some dusts on it.

"It's good to be back." Another man spoke. His cold demeanor is overbearing.

"Yes. If only he is here with us, you won't have a girlfriend by now." The other man smiled. They didn't chuckled or laughed.

"Aisha, do you still love him?" The man with cold demeanor said.

A moment of silence.

"Can't you be more reasonable, Jay? You're the one here. Even if you're so unromantic and cold, I love you. Don't ruin the mood like that!" Aisha shouted at him but a hug stopped her.

Titus and Mei stared at the two. They were also gloomy, making her tighten her hug on him.

"Okay guys, get a room and continue your display of affection. I'm gonna sleep." Titus laughed while walking to his bed. Mei held his hand and also got to her bed. He covered himself with blanket and closed his eyes.

The second day arrived. A group of students would be seen walking down the first plaza. They are wearing their caramel uniforms and brown vests.

The bright light from the sun served as their backdrop, looking like warriors. Their faces were fierce and full of ferocity.

"Ehem!" Vin cleared his throat.

"Don't make a sound you insolent devil! Or else, we would attack you with all our attacks." Theo scowled.

"Oh! That's a great idea. I think we can do that!" Vin patted Theo's shoulder, and smiled.

"Freak! You think we can easily do that?" He said while sitting down on the pathway. There were two benches on his right. Zaine, Dalia and Lily sat on the first one. Kaye and Yuri sat on the second. Vin just stood up and the others sat down.

They all fell silent. The morning breeze refreshed them all.

"I can help you." A voice startled them. It was a familiar voice.

"Brother!" Theo stood up and ran to Titus. He jumped and hugged his brother.

"Let's take this to the classroom. I will teach you something." He said while waving his hand at them, allowing them to follow him.

They all stood up and not a sound was heard from them. They were all walking with such silence.

A few moments later, they arrived at their room. They sat down on the floor, not having an ounce of strength to muster. They were all fatigued from their fusion tests, but they still failed.

"Okay, little ones. Let me teach you a good foundation for fusing seals." He started.

They all turned their gazes on him. Their fatigue was clearly diminished as they heard it.

"First, you have to know the square rule."

"Square rule is a rule created to counter elements. A square has four side, meaning, it has two counter-opposite elements, or two pairs of complimenting element."

"For example, the elements fire, lightning, light and radiation. Fire and lightning are complimentary, same as light and radiation. Having the four combined, a more powerful fusion can be produced, but, it won't equal the strength of counter-opposites."

"For example, fire, water, ice and lightning. Water beats fire, fire beats ice, ice beats lightning and lightning beats fire. These counter currents produces massive energy that is powerful enough to take down a five bladed beast."

"But, square rule is only one. You can also have the double square, the hexagon, and octagon rules."

"In the double square, you must have two squares with perfect combinations. For example, light, lightning, fire and radiation, a perfect square, and another is darkness, shadow, water and ice, another perfect combination, forms a square rule. It would create a counter reaction and creates harmony with the likes and energy that repels each square. Having that, the whole fusion is more stable at the extremes, but the means are risky. It may consume mana, or even have instability."

"The hexagon rule is a rule that allows one to have an ultimate element. Let's have an example. Fire can be an ultimate fire if it can achieve a higher level of intensity. Always remember that life, death, destruction and creation laws can advance an element to its ultimate."

"One will advance it to ultra law. Two will advance it to mega law. Three will advance it to ultimate. And four will advance it to supreme."

"The octagon rule is a quite impossible one. It allows you to make a perfect combination of eight elements, and advancing it to god rank."

"Also, you have to fuse them into balance, and then make the ninth element devour it."

"But I will tell you again, it is impossible to do it. Because you will need to balance it accordingly. Once an element overpowers another, the fusion is a failure."

"But I must say, having your captain with you, even if you fuse the twenty-eight elements, you would have at least fifty percent chance to succeed." Titus smiled at Vin.

The others stared at him. They remembered something.

It was only him and Zaine who completed a fusion skill inside an hour, but it was still incomplete. They called it One Wave Slash, a fusion of space and void, together with the profoundness of wind and soundwave.

"You jerk!" Riku cursed Vin. He just laughed at them.

"We, your teachers, can also fuse a beast and a weapon. We call it transfusion. For example, we can fuse a Holy Lion to a Death Blade. The Death Blade will have the holiness of the Holy Lion, and carry out death. It can be called Judgment Blade. A Water Trident fused with the Hell Bear can produce a Hell Water Trident."

"There is no such thing as incompatible when it comes with fusion. There is only instability, low comprehension and lack of ability." He ended his lecture.

"Sir!" Kaye raised her hand.

"Yes, Kaye?" He asked.

"Is it possible for us to fuse with Armsources?" She inquired.

"Of course! But as I said, if an unstable mana is converged with the other stable ones, it will cause risk, and when I say risk, it might mean destruction, or even death." Titus frowned.

"Thank you, Sir." She then nodded.

"Any more questions?" He asked.

A moment of silence. No one asked a question.

He then stood up and picked a stick from his pocket.

"This is a wand. You may look at it as an Armsource, but it is not. This is one of the Sixteen Supreme Arms, created by the Gods. It is called the Water Beast Wand. Others call it the Supreme Water, or sometimes, the Water God."

"This is a tool for amplification. This can help you with fusing, but Theo is still too young to hold this." Titus said.

"This was crafted according to the needs of an element bearer. And with that, I must tell you to have a second profession, and make an Armsource for yourselves."

"There were many fields for your second profession. There's forging, core circuit aligning, scroll pattern array, grimoire addition setting, tool and armor design, crystal array carving, mana accessory making, machine mechanisms and tool pattern array."

"Your armsources are given and not your own creation, so it is difficult to adjust."

"If you have a question about those secondary professions, just ask Sir Melchor about it."

"Okay, class dismissed." He then stood up and smile at them.

Their heads was turning with too much information. They were still pondering about it.

They looked at each other and knew what exactly is it that they would take as a secondary profession.
