Chapter 9

Levi didn't have to search for long, as when he marked Coulson, he knew it would be helpful, but not this early.

Levi entered the dimensional void and focused on the mark Coulson had.

The reason Levi decided to place the mark on his hair is that, it won't be visible due to his black hair, and it would help Levi monitor Coulson for something important in the future.

As he focused on Coulson's mark, he saw that Coulson was in a plane. So, Levi immediately came out of the dimensional void and said to the skrull "I am currently searching for them. I should be able to find them soon."

The skrull nodded and continued to tweak something in the computer.

The skrull said "You guys are way behind us when it comes to technology. This machine isn't even capable of calculating simple numbers."

"It should be able to do simple math. I guess your definition of simple math is some orbital velocity or something." Levi said and sat on his bed.

He opened a bag of chips and offered it to the skrull. He looked at it weirdly and took a chip.

He ate it and said "Hmmm.... it isn't filling, but it is actually quite tasty. You guys have good food here."

"Then, after you are done with my computer, we can go eat outside. There are a lot of other tasty things on our planet." Levi said.

After three hours, the skrull was done. He reassembled all the parts of my computer and at first, it didn't look any different from before.

That was until he turned it on. The screen had more pixels and didn't look anything like the 90s monitor.

The skrull said "This device was too old and primitive in our standards. So, I modified it and now it can store info about some of the inventions from our planet."

Levi smiled and said "Now, I will take you out for lunch. Transform into someone you remember seeing when you arrived in this city."

Then, Levi took him to a Mexican restaurant and had lunch. The skrull was completely shocked at the taste of those dishes.

He commented "You guys aren't technologically advance, but your food is the best."

They returned to Levi's room and Levi used the teleportation mark again.

Coulson was talking to someone on the phone. The person on the other side of the call said "Sir, she was talking some strange things and she was also dressed weirdly.

She walked out of a store and now, there is a hole in the roof and some stuff are burnt."

Coulson said "Send me the location, we will be there."

Levi can only see glimpse of what Coulson is doing, as being in the void for long was dangerous.

Levi didn't wait for Coulson to go to Carol and returned.

He said to the skrull "I found the location your friends landed, but don't have the exact location. I will get their location in a few minutes. And also, I will show you something new, which should also be a secret."

The skrull nodded. Levi actually didn't trust the skrull and had already marked him.

The minute he reveals something about Levi, he would die. Levi was actually really tempted to kill him and start studying him, but he decided that keeping him alive till he gets everything from his head.

Levi got to know that the skrull before him is the science guy of their group, so he should have even more information and knowledge than others.

As for their biology, it was there in the info he gave Levi. So, it was more beneficial to keep him alive than kill him now.

He also remembered that after Captain Marvel came to earth, she killed many skrulls. So, he knew there wouldn't be a shortage of bodies to experiment on.

After 20 minutes, Coulson arrived at the place the police officer had informed him.

He entered the broken shop to investigate. Levi used transformation jutsu to turn into someone else.

He didn't want to be spotted by Coulson or Nick Fury and complicate things.

Skrull looked at me transform and asked "Are you sure you aren't a skrull?"

Levi said "I am not. Now, I will take you to a place where your friends landed, but you also have to transform into someone else immediately.

We will appear near a person I know and he can't discover me. So, don't move or talk until I say so."

The skrull nodded. Levi was also nervous this time, it was the first time he was trying the technique practically, in a real life situation.

All he did till now was steal a few pizza slices from his classmates and draw on the faces of a few bullies.

He breathed out completely and took a deep breathe. He placed his hand on the skrull, who had already transformed into some random stranger he remembered seeing.

Levi asked "Ready" and the skrull nodded, not knowing what to expect.

Levi used his Flying Thunder God jutsu and teleported to Coulson's location, who was investigating the shop Carol crashed into.

They appeared beside Coulson. Levi immediately threw a knife to a corner of the shop and immediately teleported there.

When Levi teleported to Coulson, Coulson immediately sensed someone touch his hair and turned to look.

For a second, he felt he saw someone beside him, but no one was around him. So, he dismissed the thought telling himself "I think I am too tired."

From the corner, Levi sighed and said "It was pretty good for my first time, considering I used this with Coulson."

Coulson said while massaging his forehead "I was promoted recently and moved to the main base a few weeks ago. I don't think I can get a leave."

The skrull, who was beside Levi said "We're you lying to me about being technologically backwards, because that felt exactly like jump spaceships use to travel to different parts of the galaxy."

Levi said "Enough talk, time to search for your friends."

They both slowly moved out of the store and Levi found Carol near a phone booth, talking to a man in black suit.

As they got close, they could see their faces. That was the first time Levi saw Nick Fury's face and said in his head "Gotta leave Shield before this manipulating guy becomes my boss."

Levi said "Looks like we found your friends." and he turned, only to find that the skrull was already missing.

He saw him run towards the skrull who transformed into skrull. Levi said to himself "Does this idiot want to die so badly."
