Feels like past

(Rose's POV before saving Woo from the terrible slimes)

As I walk inside the Warbin Forest to go to Merry Arche City I see a guy in wooden armor with a wooden sword who is fighting ten slimes so I distance myself a little bit and observe the surroundings if this is another trap of those filthy bandits, but it seems like this is not a trap.

'Using a wooden sword to kill a slime? This guy is insane.'

Even after many knockdowns and failed the guy did not give easily, well who could give up easily if they knew that there are on the edge of death anyway. As I grew impatient with their battles I continue walking again to my destination, but if I leave this man to die then what type of adventurer I am right now then?

'I will save this guy then I will continue walking again.'

This type of slime that is common in forests is a neutral element monster means every element is effective to it. So I use Fire element skill to kill it.

I released the magic to the slimes as a red flame splits into five parts, each of which becomes an explosive arrow that killed the slimes at the same time without wasting too much magic power. After I released the magic I came closer to the scene with my guard still up so I can look at the guy on the ground shiveringly, his plain blackish eyes and his hazel hair that look like he did not wash in many days.

"You should never hit the slimes with a only physical attack, if you hit them without magic they will just divide endlessly."

I did not look at him directly but I can feel instinctively the astonishing gaze of this guy. Let's just aside that now that I finished my business here.

"Ummm, you are you anyway?"

As I planned before that I gonna proceed with my walk again this guy interrupted it.

'My God, I accidentally might killed this guy.'

First, let's calm down, and then I will professionally answer his idiotic question.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Rose Wither and an adventurer."

Suddenly the guy gasp ignorantly as if he heard something that was out of the world.

"Adventurer!? Really?!?"

"Ye..yes...I am an adventurer." As the guy stealthy came near me and proceed to cling to me like a moneyless beggar, yes he looked like a beggar.

"After seeing you, my motivation to become an adventurer went higher than before!"

I don't know what this guy talking about, but becoming an inspiration to becoming an adventurer moved me.

"Tha..thank you, I am moved by what you said."

I hurryingly moved to make a distance between us. Why this guy so wanted to become an adventurer that he couldn't even kill easily those slimes?

I will just try to change the subject because I wanted to go to the City soon, then a flash of an idea came into my mind.

"Now that you said that you want to become an adventurer why don't you register yourself as an adventurer in Merry Arche City?"

"Oh, where is it? Where is the city!?"

This guy's eyes turned into four-pointed sparkles as he heard something that piqued his interest in the new subject.

'My God, I don't know what to do.'

Pft, I try to hold my laugh so I cannot make rude of him but it is been a long time since I've been like him.

It feels like returning to the past again where I dream about becoming an adventurer freely.
