The beginning of suffering

Before I become an adventurer I live in rice fields where my mother die before I was born and so did my father who leave me alone with the cocow milk, I live thanks to the elders who take care of me even though the elder's milk was a bit bitter but it's doesn't matter.

After I turn 11 I dreamed of becoming an adventurer and I told the elders about it, some were happy and some die due to the surprise about it...

Then after I turn 15 my elders gave me a wooden sword and a wooden armor that doesn't even fit me and so on I started my wondrous adventure with a (wooden)sword and a (wooden)armor, three weeks after I travel I see all kinds of cute hungry animals who greet me by biting my hands or entering my pants or biting my feet, it is hurt but I feel that there is a special connection between me and these animals.

As the year passed by I finally see a monster slime!

It slowly crawled toward me and jump directly to my face.

'Ah, I think this slime likes me that it wants to hug me, what a beautiful thought is it.'

But as an adventurer I need to level up so please die, I remove the slime from my face and then stab it with my (wooden)sword. After it funnily wiggles it split into two.

"Wha!? What a bizarre monster is it!"

The first slime attacked first so used my left shoulder as a shield and I attack it with my (wooden)sword and it collapsed to the ground, but the second one's attack was stealthy and hit my leg so I fall to the ground, I fastly stand to defend as the first slime split to two again.

'Argh, so strong but if I don't fight I will die.'

And so on we fight repeatedly until my stamina was so low but if I don't kill them this will be my end, the slimes even multiply to ten and they viciously surrounded me so that I cannot escape anymore.

As I was trying to stand with the help of my (wooden)sword the slimes began to hit me so hard, I had no choice but to kneel steadily with the help of my ( wooden) sword again.

One more hit and I will be dead even if my (wooden) armor is ruined right now because of the vicious attacks of the slimes. As one of the slimes planning to hit me something unexpectedly happened.

BOOM!!!!

An explosion happened right into my eyes and my ears hurt because of the strong explosion but all the slimes are drop dead with just that one hit means there is a more powerful one than them.

'I wonder who did this.'

"You should never hit the slimes with a only physical attack, if you hit them without magic they will just divide endlessly." A female voice came behind my back, as I turn around to see a red-haired woman with a shiny sword and shiny armor.

"Ummm, you are you anyway?" I ask out of curiosity.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Rose Wither and an adventurer." As Rose introduce herself this man just hear a worthy word.

"Adventurer!? Really?!?"

"Ye..yes...I am an adventurer." She may be a little awkward, but this man stealthily clung to her so tightly that can't even escape from her grasp of this man. This man may look like a penniless beggar, yes he is penniless but it doesn't matter right now for him, what is so curious right now is how this red-haired girl becomes a strong adventurer.

"After seeing you, my motivation to become an adventurer went higher than before!"

"Tha..thank you, I am moved by what you said." As Rose talked to him awkwardly as she hurryingly make a distance between each other.

"Now that you said that you want to become an adventurer why don't you register yourself as an adventurer in Merry Arche City?"

"Oh, where is it? Where is the city!?" This man amazes by his incredible knowledge of Rose as an adventurer, he is excited to become an adventurer officially and become strong like Rose, while Rose is amazed by this man's motivation to become an adventurer.

"Anyway since I introduced myself, why don't you introduce yourself too?" So Rose tried to change the topic to something else.

"I forgot to introduce myself, well anyway my name is Woo Woo, and nice meeting you here." After Woo Woo finished introducing himself to Rose, he ask for a shakehand but what Méi caught was this man's name.

"Woo Woo right?" Rose asked seriously and cautiously him as if she suspected Woo Woo about something.

"Yes, that's my actual name, why?

"Who named you such a name like that?" Rose's cautious gaze turns to a jest gaze as if the cautious gaze was never there in the first place. As for Woo Woo, he does not know what's the problem with his name or who the hell names him.

As they talked just like strangers the time moved too, the flawless sun just about to turn to night both of them planning to travel again but...

-Grrrrrrrrr-

"Oh sorry, I haven't eaten very well in days here."

"Anyway since the night will soon come, why don't you eat with me tonight?"

Even if Rose didn't invite Woo, he will just go to find a way to eat with Rose.

"Of course, of course, I want to but what type of food we are about to eat exactly?" Woo Excitedly ask Rose as they created their tents in a clear space inside the forest

"You?"

Woo suddenly froze on his ground after hearing Rose's reply, he don't know if he heard it wrong or if Rose was about to make him her dinner tonight.

'Oh my god, Rose is a carnivore witch?! Oh no, what should I do.'

Rose meanwhile thinking of what should be tonight's dinner while her guard is up because she didn't know whether that guy will backstab her sooner or later but in the meantime, she will just going to play easy.

"Is there something wrong, Woo Woo? Woo Woo?"

As Rose suddenly feel that Woo stopped, she was hesitant about whether to touch him or just to call him so she decided to pick a rough stone from the ground and not realize the strength of the throw that was aiming at Woo's head.

—Banngggg—

"Ahhhhh!!! My head it's bleeding!! Help!!"

Woo helplessly rolls to the ground for God's sake he doesn't know what's going on. Then a sudden flash of thought came inside his head, this might be the signal of his near ending of becoming a stew, Woo stew!

Wahhh, extremely shouting inside his dummy head endlessly.

"I am so sorry I didn't mean to do that, I hesitated to come near you so I decided to just throw a stone to your head and accidentally put a great strength to it."

Rose kneel to the ground and repeatedly apologized while Woo tried to stop the bleeding. Minutes passed and Woo collapsed, Woo's whole body turn like a ghoul but Rose didn't notice this so she just continued apologizing to the lifeless Woo.

Woo fell into a vivid dream after he collapsed helplessly. When he enter the dream, he saw a little pink-haired girl staring unwaveringly at the altars inside an unknown church, he pinched his arm until it bleed to know if he enters a dream but to his surprise, he didn't feel anything just empty and loneliness, and there he seems see familiar letters in the stone tablet that was front of the altar, thanks to the help of the elders who teach him some letters when he was a kid so he read it out of curiosity.

"Shall never forget the favor of Gods in human's sake."

As he read it loudly, the little girl looked at Woo with her eyes so lifeless and tired, so eventually, Woo was a little scared by that girl.

"Abandoned by the Gods and forgotten by the man."

As the girl said it vaguely, the more confusing the mind of Woo, he don't know who is this girl or what does it mean "Abandoned by Gods" all he knew is that he wanted to become an adventurer with Rose, so why bother solving this?

'Is this girl insane?'

"I was forgotten even by you."

What does it mean? Does he need to read all the libraries all over the world just for the sake of remembering this unknown girl? For him, he doesn't care if the whole world destroys because all he needs is to become an adventurer who didn't have a problem with the world, well if the world was destroyed before he became an adventurer, well that might be his fate.

The time flawlessly moved as the two just continue to stare at each other forever, but then Woo suddenly remembers that someone was waiting for him to wake up which means he had a reason to leave this dream. The problem is he doesn't how to leave.

"I wish We mAy mEet AgaIn."

Then the little pink-haired girl disappear like she was never there in the first place, Woo triggered the meaning of what the little girl said to him before she disappeared, Woo may be an idiot but he is smart enough to know that this dream is not just a normal dream that he experiences to the past, so all he needs to do right now is just to wait to meet again.
