Trouble in paradise

Sharpay suddenly barged into the room panting heavily. She appeared scared and one could tell from the expression on her face that it was something serious.

" Shadley we've got a problem." Sharpay said breathing heavily.

Shadley stood up and stared at his sister with a concerned look. He could remember clearly that the last time he had seen this look on his sister's face was few hours before they are saved Tracy from the hades.

"I got a vision. "She added walking in slowly to stop Sharpey had earlier gotten a vision one about the future; and it was one that scared her. "Sharpay." Shadley called out as he walked to her. "Have a seat. " He added. As it took her to the bed and made her sit next to Tracy. Tracy got up and reappeared with a glass of water in her hands.

"here ,have some water. "Tracy offered with her hands stretched out. Shadley took the glass from Tracy and gave it to sharpay to drink. She drank the water as her brother fed it to her.

"Now tell me ,what did you see ?" Shadley asked once she was done with the water.

" Hydras ." Sharpay announced. The moment Tracy and shadely heard the name they looked at each other knowingly. "They are about to attack the school "sharpay added with fear in her voice.

Sharpay's ability allowed her to see visions of the future but only few hours before it happened. She had gotten a vision about Tracy being attacked by it only few hours before it happened and that was how the saved her. In essence of any incoming danger and there was a serious one at hand.

"We've got to inform the squad. "Shadely said after hearing its discharves last statement.

"Come on. "He stretched out is and to help sharpie get up.

" Where are you guys going to?" What are we going to do? "Tracy asked.

" To call for a super squad meeting." Shadley answered.

" Can I come with ? " Tracy asked with a pleading look surprising both Shadley and Sharpay. The supers squad was for the eight most powerful student at the academy. Although rumors had it that the squad was to comprise of nine members which meant they were done a member. The members of the super squad were Daisy the leader, Shadley, Sharpay, Rebecca, Jason, Dianne , Erin and verdon.

"Perhaps I can be of help. "Tracy pleaded. "You know I've done a lot of research about the hydras ." She added." Please."

Shedley turned to look at Sharpe as if it was looking for a response, she gave an approving nod and it turned to Tracy. " Sure." Shadley agreed and Tracy's face instantly lit up with a smile.

The large room is brightly lit with floating orbs of light illuminating the space. A long, polished wooden table sits in the center of the room, surrounded by cushioned chairs for the magical students to sit in comfort.

On the table, there are stacks of ancient tomes and scrolls, along with quills and parchment for note-taking. A crystal ball sits at one end of the table, shimmering with mystical energy.

The walls are adorned with tapestries depicting famous wizards and magical creatures, adding to the ambiance of the room. Shelves line the walls, filled with jars of magical ingredients and artifacts for the students to study and experiment with.

As the members of the super squad gathered around the table, the eerie atmosphere hangs heavily in the air.

"So... Who is she again?" A dark boy with curly hair asked no one in particular staring at Tracy. "Verdom,this is Tracy the girl we saved on our last mission."Shadley answered facing verdon. "And what is she doing here?. "Rebecca snapped. "I thought we called for a super squad meeting. " Rebecca snapped in an impertinent tone.

"She's here to help. She has a lot of knowledge about the hard drive. "Shadely replied in a calm tone ." She doesn't even know her ability yet. How much help can she offer ." Rebecca scoffed rudely.

"Will you guys stop it! "Daisy yield banging table. "We are here to deal with a chaos that's probably going to hit the school in few hours, so let's look for a solution. "Daisy said in an authoritative voice. All this while trying her best not to look at Shadley.

Dianne on the other hand stood quietly with her hands folded, only her and Shadley knew about Tracy's secret and she was determined to find out more but not until she had undone Alicia's spell.

" So tell me all we've gathered so far about the hydras." Daisy said after the group's research.

" So basically the hydra has about nine beads all connected to one huge body." Vorden replied. " Plus... They tend to be a pain in the ass as they are resistant to elemental powers.

" Not fire...." Tracy said surprising everyone. All this while she had been quiet and no one even expecty her to say a thing as they had all assumed she knew nothing. Well all but Shadley.

" The hydra has regenerative head meaning with each head slayed two more grows . The only way we can stop the regenerative process is to cut off all of the monster's heads and burn the neck using a sword and fire." Tracy announced. It is capable of using the element water.

" So... I guess that leaves vorden out if the plan." Jason joked." What!" Vorden yelled in annoyance.

" He's right vorden, your ability water control will serve as food for the Hydra thereby making it stronger. We can't afford to let that happen." Daisy declared.

" What the f**k !" Vorden exclaimed in fury . " So you guys are saying I'm useless?" Vorden fired.

" Not useless... It's just ,your powers will only be a food source for the hydra and we can't afford to make them grow stronger." Dianne explained.

" Erin." Daisy called out." Yes ." Erin a brunette answered. " You are the core of this mission as your ability is fire and is the weakness of the hydra. So pay attention ." Daisy said in a firm tone. Everyone was assigned their part to play in the plan except Tracy and vorden and although Shadley and Sharpay's abilities weren't that useful in combat they were good with weapon. While sharpay was good in archery, Shadley was a Master in swordry.

"Any questions ?" Daisy asked ." Yeah ." Tracy asked slightly raising her right hand. " How do I help? " She asked, leaving everyone surprised but before anyone could say a word a loud alarm was heard . It was used to signify the school if incoming dangers .

" How'bout you keep your ass locked in here . I'm not in for saving someone like you the second time." Daisy fired harshly as she walked past Tracy their shoulders bumping.

" Ouch..." Rebecca gave out a light chuckle, but Shadley gave her a glare and she quickly schooled her expression. " Everyone we've got to go!" Dianne yelled as she ran out and the others followed.

Shadley walked up to Tracy who had glistening eyes. He placed his hands on her shoulders and encouraged." Don't let her words get to you .... Okay." He had a smile on his face. " But you need to stay here. We do not want you getting hurt. .. okay." He added with a caring voice before walking away.Right now she hated herself more than ever for being weak, for being the cause of her mother's death. She hated herself for being whatever she was .....

" No, I'm not gonna keep running, I'm not gonna keep being the weak little girl who hides in the face of danger." She said to herself. In her blue eyes a hint of gold glow could be seen.

IN AN UNKNOWN LOCATION...

" Oh no... The spell... It's breaking." A woman with a white gown and victory roll up said with worry.
