As soon as this thought entered her head, Xiao Qi's spirits lifted and she kept telling herself that the person who died was not Chu Li but the real Lu Xuzhou. Although Chu Li had sent Lu Xuzhou to the Fu Dynasty, Lu Xuzhou might have decided to come back.

She forced herself not to think about the flaw in this idea as she glided out of Adjacent Town and quickly found Lu Xuzhou's grave.

She took a deep breath while she stared at this newly erected gravestone. She did not bother to check if there was anyone around her as she started digging the grave.

Her movements were very quick. Soon, she found the coffin and opened it. The corpse lying inside the coffin was indeed Chu Li disguised as Lu Xuzhou. 

Xiao Qi's white tunic had become soiled but she did not seem to mind it at all even though she was usually a neat freak. She immediately jumped into the coffin to study Chu Li's face.
