Comprehension

His chest tightened. He would not be able to escape without God's Limbs. With his last resort up in smokes, was this the end of the road for him?

This Yinyang Cave was fairly strange. If he were to die here, there was no telling if even Life and Death Scripture could revive him. 

With only one life to live, it was not worth the risk. All would be in vain if he were to really die here!

Struck by the thought, he immediately demonstrated Life and Death Scripture before he froze. However, to his dismay, Life and Death Scripture proved ineffective. The surrounding spiritual energy did not gather close toward him; it seemed to be warded off by the cave. 

The cave in which he resided looked to be a restricted area. God's Limb could not be used, and spiritual energy could not come close.
