New Friends Awaits

Even though they were curious, they were not used to expressing themselves thus spoke and had an emotionless face.

"Aiya, look at you guys, such stiff rocks." Mingyu complained

Right after, Mo Xing finally managed to say, "hello Seniors, I am Mo Xing." in a cold tone and nodded her head in a bow like manner to show respect.

"Ok kids, off you go! Please show Ms. Mo around as all of you have a free period as of now" the Principal Hou Chonglin said and without waiting for their response rushed them out of his office.

"Ok Mo Xing, let us show you around!" Mingyu said, putting his arm around her shoulder, already acting familiar with her as if they were the greatest and closest of friends.

Mo Xing, not knowing what to do, allowed him as he pleases while listening to him ramble.

For Longwei, his first thought was that she looked like a cold beauty. He was a bit captivated by her and wanted to know her better. But because of his close off-ish/cold personality, he did not know how to approach her without being awkward.

Mingyu, being the noisy and observant person he was, noticed something off from Longwei and decided to wait and see how Longwei looks at Mo Xing before taking some 'action'.

Author Li: ahem, Mingyu, are you sure this will help or make it more awkward?

Mingyu: Li, how can you have no faith in me?!

Author Li: Oh I don't know, maybe because you're so dense that even when Yang and Noah threw death glares at you in the past for being too close with Xiu Ying, you never got the point and kept being foolishly close? Why do you think they always target and go harder on you when you all practice mixed martial arts?

Mingyu: No way! They are just trying to help me, and they probably glared at me because of other reasons. Hmph, I am the one who helped Yang and baby Ying get together after all!

Author: *facepalm (－‸ლ)* dense ben dan (stupid). This is why I am saying your 'help' might just make it worse -.-

Mingyu: ｡゜(｀Д´)゜｡ whatever hmph

Back to Xing, she just kept her cold face up and went along with her seniors.

Although she preferred to be alone, she did not say anything and followed them.

To her, Mingyu's rambling was just going through one ear and out the other except when he talked about actual important information such as where buildings are.

Mo Xing noticed in particular Longwei throwing glances at her every now and then. She had first noticed him when his group came since he was the tallest of the bunch.

However right now she did not give him much thought and only had one comment 'he is tall'.

Even though she herself was 5'8 in feet, Longwei was 6'1 in height thus making them 5 inches/12~13 cm difference.

After getting a tour, Li Xiu Ying became somewhat close to Mo Xing because they were both females and asked, "Hey Xing, want to have lunch with us?"

Although Mo Xing usually liked being alone, she felt comfortable around the group as she felt no malicious intent from them so she agreed by nodding her head.

"Great! We will see you during lunch then!" Mingyu said.

"Yes, it is time for the second period, see you soon Xing." Xiu Ying agreed.

They all went their separate ways, Mo Xing going to the first year building, Xiu Ying going to the second year building, and Longwei, Mingyu, Yang, and Noah all went to the third year building.

After second period was over -

Mo Xing was a woman of her words, as well as she felt a little comfortable with the group. Once the bell rang, she immediately got up, put her things away, and walked to the cafeteria.

Once she reached the cafeteria, before looking for the group, she first went to the line for the buffet style food to get her lunch. Lan Yun High was known to have a rich scholar family backer so they had all the best resources while still remaining clean.

While getting her lunch, Mingyu apparently was looking for her and when he spotted her, he waved and said, "Mo Xing, hurry and come! Our group has a spot in the corner over here."

Other students were surprised, because although he looked friendly, he did not trust others easily and only really interacted with his small group of friends and teachers. Like they say "do not trust a book by it's cover" it applies to even the friendly looking Qin Mingyu.

Mo Xing just nodded and after grabbing her lunch, she followed the excited Mingyu to the group's table.

Once she got to the table, Xiu Ying was the first to say something.

"Ah you are here Xing, come sit next to me!"

Mo Xing just nodded and sat next to Xiu Ying, placing her lunch on the table. The others nodded at her while continuing to eat.

"Xing, why don't we chat and get to know each other better by asking each other questions? We can each take turns though I am not sure besides Mingyu if these ice blocks will join" Xiu Ying said with a slight teasing tone at the end.

"Hey Xiao Ying, how can you call me an ice block? I am hurt" Yang acted hurt when his girlfriend called him an ice block.

Xiu Ying just rolled her eyes and said, "What do you think Xing?"

Mo Xing replied with a one word syllable, "sure" while nodding.

"Great! Ok, which school did you previously go to?" Xiu Ying started off with a simple question.

"Ah, I went to an overseas school back in England" Mo Xing replied

"Ah I see, well you ask a question next unless someone else wants to ask something?" Xiu Ying said

"Mo Xing, do you have any hobbies?" Mingyu quickly interjected curiously.

"Yes, I do. I like 'programming' and 'coding' as well as mixed martial arts" Mo Xing replied.

"Oh really? That's great, all of us here practice mixed martial arts. How about coming over to our houses to train with us? We training weekly switching to whichever home is most convenient" Mingyu said
