Chapter 2

"So! I know you have so many questions. Ask away!"

I nod my head and say.

"Can I ask what kind of company this is? A company that moves someone's soul to another body is not a normal company where I come from."

"We are called Slutlife Inc."

"Slutlife? Is this a porn studio?"

"We used to be that. A multiversal porn studio."

"Multiversal?"

"Ah, yeah. Slutlife Inc, or what we usually call The Company, serves many people in the omniverse. From Buy and Sell individuals to the extermination of pests."

"Slave trading?"

"Hmmm, you can say that if you see it from a certain perspective. All the individuals you buy in the future will be the people that did not have much left. From the people that their world gets destroyed by an accident or something. We will give them a contract, and when they sign it, we will give them and their loved one a new life in exchange for their lifetime servitude."

"I see. Like a Rescue and Recruitment company that rescues people and then recruits them for a certain year of servitude."

I have some people that work for me with that kind of contract. Unlike here, I only need them to work for me for ten years at a maximum with half of the salary, and in exchange, I help them through their debt and other needs like housing and transportation.

"That is correct! Some of our agents even make a slogan for us, Slutlife: The Lesser Evil."

"I see. However, how do you know that your agent will treat those people right? Because even if it was a lesser evil, the people that become their master could treat them badly."

"And you are right about that. As I say, we are the Lesser Evil, but we are still the Evil even then. As long as the agent did not kill their Waifu or Husbando willy nilly, we were willing to let them go. However, if they kill their Waifu or Husbando without a good reason? We will punish them."

"I see."

I look at the man in front of me and decide to ask my second question.

"What kind of work do I need to do? This is a company, and a company will have some work for their employee."

"And you are correct. Here, this is your profile."

I take the piece of paper the man gave to me and start to read it.

Hmmm? Debt? What kind of debt do I have?

"I'm sorry, but what is this debt?"

"Well, it was the debt you have after we transport your body into a new body. Your current body is not for free, and there is a fee for moving your soul."

"Ahhh, I see."

I guess I cannot complain about that. I already signed the contract, and there will always be a price to pay, and moving my soul into a new body needs a fee.

"Hmmm?"

"Yes?"

"It is rather surprising that you are not complaining about the debt in your profile. Many of your kind decide to complain and even dare to shout at my face."

"And what will it bring me? I already signed a contract and your company even gave me a new body. There is nothing free in this world. Everything has a price, and I need to pay for it. I don't know how much 1700 points are, but I will pay for it all."

I look at the man in front of me right in the eyes and see his reaction. I expected him to get offended by the way I spoke, but I did not expect him to laugh. I see him laugh very loudly for a few seconds before wiping a tear out of his eyes.

"Haaaa. I like you. I will not help you with the debt, but I will give you a gift when you pay all your debt. It has been a while since someone said that to me. Anyway, ask your next question."

"What does this Division section stand for?"

"Hmmm? Ah! We have five divisions in this company: A to E. Each division has a different job and leader. Each division has a different patron; they are your leader and the one that will give you power. Division A's Patron is the Great Old One, and before you ask, yes. They are the ones that come from the Lovecraft series from your world. Lovecraft is the follower of the Great Old One that decided to spread the influence of the Great Old One."

Woah. Are they real? I love Lovecraftian creatures. They are cool and disturbing at the same time. I love reading them in my free time in the hospital, which is all the time.

"Division B's Patron is the Elementals. Division C is where you are located and where I will be your patron is the Archdemon. Division D's patron is the Fey. Division E's patron is the Celestial."

I nod my head in understanding. It is rather surprising that the man in front of me is an Archdemon. I don't know what to feel right now. On the one hand, I'm working for a literal demon, but on the other hand, it is rather funny. I just literally signed a contract with a devil, or rather a demon in this case.

"Anyway, my name is Asmodeus, and welcome to the company. Anyway, let's talk about your first job. However, before we go there, I need to tell you about the Score Point in your profile. This point can be used to buy power. Power is divided into two sections. The first one is what many people call a perk. This thing is not coming from me. This one is coming from the company. The next one is the power that personally comes from me. I will grant you a power that you can use as much as you want within a limitation. You can buy it, or you can be granted by your patron, in this case, me. Do you understand?"

I still have some questions, but I decided to nod my head.

"Good. Now, before you are given a newbie job, I will give you a list of perks and waifu you can buy with your score points. Of course, you can ask for a loan with fifty percent interest in case you want to buy a more expensive Waifu or perks."

After Asmodeus says that, a hologram appears in front of me, and I can see many lists of perks, power, Waifu, and Husbando in front of me. I know some of the people on the list like Sakura Haruno, Rias Gremory, and Cynthia. They are from an anime I know—Sakura from Naruto, Rias from Highschool DxD, and Cynthia from Pokemon.

However, when I see their price, I know that I cannot buy them just yet. I did not want to increase the amount of debt I already had, especially with that massive interest. I decide to ignore all the perks that I cannot buy as I know that Asmodeus put them there so I can take a loan from him and decide to stay at the perk that I can buy.

After finding the perk I want, I nod my head and look at Asmodeus, who is drinking some liquid. When he sees me looking at him, Asmodeus puts down his glass and says.

"You finished? Then tell me which perk you want to take."

"I will take the perk called 'ID' for forty points, 'First Gold' for fifty, and 'Small Gun' for ten points."
