Chapter 4: I am not a system

In the reflection I saw a 6 feet tall guy with silver hair and blue eyes staring at me. His body was lean, there was no beer belly. His hair was shoulder length long and he looked like me.

Confused I rubbed my eyes again and but the reflection in the mirror was still the same. It was a completely different version of what I was last night. I grew by taller by a few inches, my beer belly was gone, my hair was silver and my eyes blue. To my rescue the voice responded in my head

"The changes you are seeing in yourself is due to me releasing my energy in your body. Also, I used the excess energy from the fats in your belly to nullify the toxic substances. Your hair and eyes changed colour due to a minute genetic modification that I did to your DNA. Your bone density is now higher than before, meaning you will feel more strength in your body."

Surprised I asked her

"Are you similar to a system in the mangas?"

To which the voice sneered

"I am not a system."

After accepting the fact that I am now present in a body that I am not familiar with, I realized something very crucial that I haven't yet asked the voice its name.

"Hey, what is your name?"

"I don't have a name. If you want, you can give me a name." – the voice said

Hmmm… a name for her. What should I call her! A thought struck my mind.

"Since you came from the skies, how about I call you Sky?"

"Okay. Sky is a good name. I have no problems with it. From now, I will be Sky." The voice said with a giggle.

"Hey Sky, can you tell me more about how you can help me with my dreams?" Just when I asked her this question, I realized that Sky have already gone through all my memories, meaning even my private moments.

Hearing to my thoughts Sky interjected with a chuckle

"Joy, you do not have to worry about me seeing your private moments. I have no interest in those stuff. Whether be it your porn preferences or stuff you did with your girlfriend, or when you are naked, I am not bothered by it. I am only interested in your well-being and your future journey."

I let out a sigh of relief and enquired the important stuff in my mind

"Sky do you have a form that I can see? Else talking to you in my head makes me feel like a crazy person."

"I can change my form to what you like, a human, an animal, an object, but I won't be able to be project my physical form outside your body. So what is your choice?"

"Kindly change yourself to a pretty female angel with wings please." I shamefully requested Sky to change into an angel. Which normal men do not want an angel in his life.

Within an instant I was able to see a blue light changing shape to become an angelic beauty with wings and blonde hair. She was around 5"10', well developed body and a face that can cause kingdoms to wage wars. Ecstatic with her new form I blushed and asked her to tell me about how she is going to help me with my journey.

"I am just thinking about how to motivate you better and make it easy for you to understand yourself better. Any suggestions?" Sky said with a solemn tone.

"I am familiar with games and mangas, if you can show me something like a system where I can see my stats and maybe others stats and also my levels, it will motivate me enough." I finally asked her again to accommodate my dream of having a system.

"I can create a neural projection in your mind and something like a status panel will be shown. I have already analyzed your physical stats, but for reference I need you to assign a person/persons so that I can put a number to your stats." Sky replied.

To which I thought if it has to be a reference, it is best to take the peak of humanity as the reference points. People like Bolt, Phelps, Tyson, Da Vinci came to my mind as being the number one in their field.

Understanding what I wanted to say, Sky gave me an answer

"Joy, according to your memories I have selected the fastest, strongest, agile, dexterous and super intelligent people as your reference. For simplicity each stat field will be 10 for the best of humanity. Let me show you how you stand as compared to the peak of humanity."

After understanding her point, I waited for a brief moment and a blue screen like status panel opened in front of my eyes. It was just floating in front of me and it was see through. I tried to touch it but I couldn't.

From a third person point of reference, it can be seen that Joy was swinging his hand in the air like a mad man, trying to touch something that doesn't exist.

Coming to Joy's rescue, Sky said

"You can't touch it, it is not a physical screen, it is just projected as such. I have made it in your consciousness using your neural connection. Hence whenever you need to see the status screen just called for it."

Understanding what Sky said, Joy smiled and said with a childlike curiosity

"Status"

And so begins a new journey that will take Joy to places he never imagined and will change the world and the entire cosmos.
