Chapter 46 - Haruto Vs Hayato

After introducing themselves, Haruto and the rest of them watched as Naoki fought Kenichi, easily overwhelming with tactics. He was easily defeated because of his lack of intuition and experience since people who are used to battle would be able to discern an attack from an opponent.

"Great work, Naoki-chan." Haruto high five him and the boy seems to enjoy the attention. Miu already knew that he was someone who enjoys being a big brother even Takeda and his seniors are calling him "Aniki".

"Did you know why Kenichi lost against him?" Akisame asked Haruto who crossed his arms.

"Besides, having more talent was able to employ tactics in them. Additionally, Kenichi is relying too heavily on his eyes and doesn't use all parts of his body." Haruto answered and his sensei was impressed by his observation.

"Good, you understand, now while we wait for Kenichi-kun to wake up, I think it's time for you to train with me." Hayato said making everyone look in fear knowing how insanely powerful the elder was, even someone the same level had difficulty fighting him.

"Are you sure it will be alright, Grandpa?" Miu was worried that he might hurt Haruto and the elder simply laughed at this.

"Hahaha you severely underestimated him. I know you're hiding something Haruto-kun and I permit you to go all out as we spar." The elder said and Haruto nodded, taking Kenichi inside the cabin then went away for a moment since their fight will leave the place destroyed. Akisame knew that his student had something up his sleeves like he always does. Naoki was curious how strong he was and sat next to Miu's lap.

"The boy, how skilled is he?" Taiki asked about them being two sides of the same count with one being extremely gifted while the other was the lowest among low yet if given the chance Kenichi would be higher than Haruto purely the amount of work and he put on.

"Overall prowess would be around High Disciple since he has the talent to copy techniques after seeing them once. But his true strength is at least an Expert to a Low class master." Akisame said while Apachai was playing with Naoki.

"Apachai fought Haruto, he is strong and good!" He added as they watched the Elder standing without doing anything yet they could feel the pressure.

"I heard you got close to my Miu." Hayato uses techniques that allow him to directly send the sound of his voice to a specific person that they are the only one who can hear them.

"If you can land a hit on me then I'll let Miu date you." The elder said blairing his pressure that made Haruto fall into his knees and understood that he's serious about what he said. Haruto liked Miu and the feelings were mutual wanting to fulfill the promise between them since he was the reason why Miu dream is to become a beautiful bride.

"You don't need to use that as a reason, Elder. That was my goal in the beginning." Haruto said where everyone felt the explosion of Dou Ki exuding from his body as he removed his blindfold to reveal his black sclera and red pupil eyes with veins popping around his cheek like Byakugan. Naoki and his father were surprised to see his eyes.

"Wait, are you sure he's not from the Kure or Wu Clan!?" Taiki asked his friend and Akisame shook his head.

"We are all unsure but even if he was then I doubt he'll join their profession as the boy despite his tendency to keep his path clear." Akisame commented on the boy having faith he won't be staining his hands any time soon.

He took deep breath controlling the Dou Ki as he had mixed all states from [ Ultra Instinct], [ Niko Style: Fallen Demon and Possessing spirit/Advanced ], [ Surpass Limits ] and many more that made his Dou Ki reach the pinnacle of a Master.

The reason why it isn't a Grandmaster like before is because he couldn't properly control that level of strength and was simply wasting energy. This newly improved state gave him better control over his technique and applying them in combat.

This means that his Sei Ki was harmonized with Dou Ki making him someone who can contend against Grandmaster for a bit since he doesn't have the same experience as them who are used to fighting strong opponents.

They could feel the air shifting from Haruto and his whole demeanor was in constant flux where he was concentrating to find balance worried that it might make him lose focus. He needs to keep an equilibrium between his Mind, Spirit and Body where an even slight offset can cause problems for him.

Fortunately, his skills kept to a manageable level and he was trained to find the sweet spot where he has stable control.

"Why did Haruto suddenly grow even stronger!?" Miu was astonished sensing the sudden change in Haruto's demeanor while Akisame rubbed his chin.

"It shouldn't be possible yet for him to actually achieve an extreme mastery over this body that he is able to withstand the backlash on his body." He was a doctor and knew what Haruto was doing, pushing his body to the utmost limits and essentially perfected human body control at a conscious level. If he has trained to gain pink muscle then Haruto simply makes his muscle into becoming one and even changes it if he wants to.

'I need to land a hit on the Elder.'

He didn't care much about his reward since his chance of hitting the elder is quite high making the reason for the reward to be small. Haruto wasn't complaining seeing his going to gain more later by copying the elder. The name was familiar, recalling a character from a movie called Ninja Assassin that the new memory provided.

Hayato was impressed by the level of power that Haruto has and able to note that he is still far from perfecting the technique. Haruto stood with his senses to their utmost limits and felt the overflowing power that his body was currently pouring.

"Hohoho, you're really a once in a lifetime genius. Come, Haruto. Show me how far you are." The elder was now worried that he might fall into Satsujinken and needed to personally observe him. He was glad that they had met. If he had met Yami, the organization that the Ryozanpaku opposed and lived by the Satsujiken principle or Killing Fist.

[ Yuuki style - Constant Flux ]

"I won't be polite, elder." Haruto took a deep breath and immediately used [ Foresight ], [ Zone ] and [ Tachypsychia ] or [ Fallen Demon ] slowing his perception and analyzed everything. He then vanished from his spot where Naoki and Miu were taken aback by his speed.

"Where did Haruto-Nii go!?" Naoki was confused, unable to see with his eyes while Miu was almost unable to sense his presence. Haruto used [ Concealed Presence ] and reappeared in the Elder blindspot.

[ Yuuki Style - Titanium Kick! ]

Haruto hardened his legs and used [ Invincible Attack ] toward the Elder only for it to be easily parried then countered as he received a powerful blow that he could even react quick enough sending a few feet crashing against a tree but manage to land on it then look at the Elder.

[ Ryuusui Seikuken! ]

He saw the change in the elders stance and his eyes glowed then smiled seeing the technique being displayed and immediately copied the technique.

Haruto knew the technique from his memory, the first half of the technique that most able to learn is Seikuken, A combat method that involves controlling the entire radius within one's arm length, creating a spherical shield around oneself. It can be used for offence and defence.

Weapon users such as Kagerō Kii can extend the range to several feet around them with the additional length of their weapons, allowing them to defend even at mid-range. More experienced fighters can even extend the range with minimal lengths by using air pressure.

The Seikūken can only be erected with a calm mind (i.e. jumping around or moving will make it difficult). if one is not calm, it would be near impossible for him or her to erect the Seikūken. Haruto saw this and simply smiled at this, propelling himself forward and unleashed a combination of attacks.

Ryūsui Seikūken is an advanced form of the original Seikūken. Instead of extending the radius of the Seikūken, it turns that principle inward, reducing it to a thin layer above the skin to dodge the opponent's attacks at the last possible second. This principle is necessary because dodging at the final moment before an attack hits saves time and energy. An absolutely calm mind is necessary to be able to use it, as even a slight degree of emotion will disrupt the technique.

There are 3 levels in Ryūsui Seikūken. These levels could also be thought of as steps in a sequence to the next level:

First Level: Read the opponent's flow.

Second Level: Combining the opponent's movements with your own.

Third Level: Overpower the opponent by anticipating his moves and use his flow against him before he even thinks of it.

Haruto calmed his mind and immediately showed signs of change when the elder realized what kind of monster that he was facing. However, his copy can only get him far and won't compete with someone who completely mastered them.

"Amazing! He was actually able to copy the elder's technique!" Taiki commented on noticing the sign of Ryuusui Seikuken. Haruto exchanges blow by blow towards the elder who was unfazed by the exchange that he recieve.

'He has the fundamentals but something's strange.' Hayato thought of noticing how Haruto wasn't even trying to land a hit or rather he did but had another goal in mind. Haruto got blown away by the elders' enormous Ki as everyone was fortunately far away from them but still able to see the fight.

The trees and the ground shook violently while Haruto winced from the pain, having received over a dozen attacks in a flash and hadn't landed a single hit.

"They're so fast!" Naoki said unable to keep up with the two fighting where the sound of their fist and attack exploded into a loud bang. The impact caused a shockwave and the ground to shake.

'This is vastly different than when he fought Apachai!' Miu thought seeing the attack could easily take her out and was barely able to see his movement. It was then the Elder moved and kicked him straight to the face feeling his jaw snapped before slammed into the ground.

"Grandpa! That's too much!" Miu saw how one-sided it was and how the elder was merciless in training Haruto. Before she could help and stop, the two were grabbed by Akisame.

"Don't, trust elder. It might seem too much but look." Akisame pointed and Miu saw Haruto standing up despite how bloody and beaten he was. The young man took a moment then spat blood to the side as he readjust a bit.

"You still want to continue, Haruto-kun?" The elder likes his tenacity but still far from Kenichi's fighting spirit when protecting people.

"Of course! Please, enlighten me, Elder!" Haruto's eyes shimmer as green glows seem to mix within his Ki that Hayato noticed that was increasing his power.

[ Yuuki Style - Titanium Flying Kick! ]

Haruto leaped in the air and tried to kick the Elder only for him to counter and attacked with his own. The force can easily shatter concrete yet the Elder was able to counter it rather easily.

[ Furinji Style - Hyoi Kazekirihane ]

The force of their attack reverberated as Haruto pushed back but landed on his feet as Hayato landed an axe kick, a frontal downward attack. Haruto's perception was fortunately was higher than any human and allowed him to defend the incoming attack.

[ Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist ]

He redirected the attack that split the ground while Haruto almost hit Hayato with his own attack but flipped and stepped back as he deliver a flurry of attack that Haruto tries to deflect using his own [ Ryuusui Seikuken ] was unsuccessful and send flying into the trees but this time struggle as Hayato blared his Ki into him.

"To be able to copy the elders [ Ryuusui Seikuken ] in a short time is truly something else." Akisame is always amazed by his talent and glad that he doesn't let those talents go to waste simply because he is talented and doesn't put the world in them.

Taiki can't believe a young man is able to reach the power of a Master class and exchange blows against the elder even if they weren't landing a direct hit. Meanwhile, Haruto struggle trying to find an opening but noticed how the elder was steadily increasing his power.

'Fuck…is he stronger than what my other memory told me?' Haruto thought, noticing how most of his opponents are vastly different from what he knows and concluded that the power scale was different.

"Haaa…haaa…don't think I've given up! This isn't my first time and certainly won't be the last!" He stood firmly getting stronger than before as the [ Spiral Power ] churned and the Elder watched as Haruto changed his demeanor once again. He was evolving and improving, breaking through his previous shell and reaching new heights.

'Analyze complete.' Haruto began to apply what he learned during the fight and started to combine everything forming a new technique. Everyone witnessed him standing up seemingly giving up yet it's clear that the real fight was about to begin.
