Chapter 47 - Not even a match

Hayato had lived a long time and fought countless opponents that were both talented, Lucky and hardworking. He fought them all and survived every encounter where even in the hanging thread of life emanage to win and overcome his limitations. His heart was growing excited finding someone worth fighting and nurturing seeing the young man's eye filled with strange calmness yet was also chaotic in a constant flux.

'This is…to think he'll learn to read the flow.' Hayato said where the young man surpasses his limitation and reaches a higher state of power during their fight. Haruto unaware that water was his motif and water both serene and chaotic.

The young man took a stance showing that his defense was nearly impenetrable but this won't last as Haruto's mind can't hold the calm yet chaotic nature of his technique. His eyes shimmer nightly and the Dual Ki shrouded around Haruto mix with green energy that the elder picks up.

[ Yuuki Style - Konton Kizen Shōkō jōtai ]

It roughly translates as Chaotic non-being dead calm/Lull. He fused all his martial art using the [ Formless ] then applied [ Foresight ] and [ Zone ] along with [ Ryuusui Seikuken ] and [ Tranquil State ]. His breath was a lot more relaxed and controlled yet his power was wild like floodgates being open.

Haruto knew his [ Ryuusui Seikuken] is miles away from being compared to Hayato's version but used his other skills to improve it. His stance was the [ Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist ] giving an even more insane defense and offenses.

He vanished then few later caused massive win pressure with everyone watching in anticipation seeing the fight reaching their climax where Hayato impressed that he had grown even more skilled.

'He has analyzed my movement earlier allowing him to catch the level I've put myself in.' Hayato thought of witnessing him move and use the pattern that he used. His movement became sharper and more precise than before where both seem to be unable to land an attack and exchange blows before redirecting those attacks.

[ Yuuki Style: Rainfall ]

Haruto was able to penetrate the elders defense enough to deliver a combot of strike punch then sweeping elbow strike and followed by his arm before knee strike the Elder's head and continued with upward kick and another Axe kick downward.

[ Taekwondo - Axe Kick! ]

Unfortunately the elders had managed to dodge them all. He gritted his teeth then changed his direction midair before slamming his already raised feet into the Elder slamming it enough to crack the ground producing a small crater but Haruto eyes widened.

'What! An after image!'

Haruto tried to search for the Elder only to receive dozens of attack strikes and had the elder whole fist planted into his abdomen launching him into the sky. He vomited blood having his internal organ ruptured and bone shattered then Hayato appeared from above then slammed him into the ground where the impact resulted in an explosion and covering the entire area with smoke. Everyone shielded their eyes from the debris and when it settled turned to continue watching but the smoke blocked the fight.

"Haruto!" Miu screamed out hoping that he was alright and the dust settled and saw her grandfather standing distance away from the center of a crater where Haruto laid struggling to stand up gritting his teeth. He slammed his fist and slowly stood up panting heavily having restored his broken organ and bones rather easily.

"Haaa…I'm alright, Miu-chan! tis 's but a scratch!" Haruto said he felt his transformation had been removed as it had disrupted his control but his strength significantly grew further than before. He looked at Hayato who was smiling seeing him still standing even after all the damage he recieve.

"Do you still want to continue?" The elder asked and Haruto laughed at the question, spitting blood in his hand then merging them in his air turning it a bit red where he tried to take his stance preparing to attack. He use his forbidden state once more, returning to his full power.

[ Yuuki Style - Titanium edge! ]

Haruto used [ Hand Edge ] and applied his own spin increasing its sharpness than before, essentially making a blade from his hands. In the blink of an eye he arrived at the elder and tried to perform a horizontal slashed but the Elder stepped back and did an upward kick only for Haruto to redirect the attack.

[ Water God style! ]

Applying both [ Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist ] and [ Water God Style ] allowed him to use his hands as if it was sword coating it with Ki as he redirected the attack controlling the flow pushing the force away from him but was hit by the elder's other foot. He staggered but gritted his teeth!

'This is really fun! Fortunately I can't feel pain.' Haruto had dulled his pain receptors and allowed him to fight even if his body was broken. He fixed his body and kept on growing faster than before.

[ Niko Style: Flame Kata - Flashfire ]

Everyone was surprised when they witnessed him create his own after images Flashfire is a style of movement that allows for the user to flicker like a flame. This technique is able to confuse the enemy by creating afterimages.

"Niko Style?" Akisame exclaimed that his disciple used a technique that a close friend of his once used. He doesn't know where his friend was but knew he had died and only had one disciple.

"Niko Style? What's that?" Miu never heard the technique before and Akisame observed the fight trying to check if it was true.

"Fighting that an old friend of mine had use. The style has 4 different Kata and this style places a high focus on adaptability and applicability; many of the techniques are not set patterns, but rather basic principles which can be applied in multiple situations. Never expected for Haruto to come across a practitioner of it." Akisame explained observing the fight while the elder was surprised by this.

"Hahahaha you actually fought someone who uses Niko Style!" The elder once met the original creator and easily won but the unique style did make him enjoy the fight. Haruto moved and became more stable than before where he was keeping up with Hayato's pace as the two fought.

[ Niko Style: Redirectional Kata - Weeping Willow ]

He slapped the elders fist causing him to feel the center of gravity to have an offset since even the slightest movement of someone's center of gravity would fall and Hayato was impressed landing on his feet while Haruto vanished from his spot.

[ Kousaka Style - Kousaka Ryuu: Chigiri Mantan ]

Haruto used his hand as a blade and tried to slash towards Hayato who dodge since his hand became a sharp blade and the Sei Ki shrouded in his hand that made it act like a real sword. Meanwhile at the Ryozanpaku, Shigure was currently binding Kansei Ma when she suddenly felt happy and thought about Haruto.

'Is he using Kousaka Style Right now?' She pondered and hoped he was since Haruto was the only one interested in learning her technique unlike Kenichi. Back at the mountains, Haruto knew it wasn't going to be enough and stepped back.

[ Systema! ]

Haruto unleashed a flurry of attacks but Hayato easily blocked them all yet this didn't discourage him and kept on attacking sending several alternating techniques.

[ Seiken! ]

A Karate straight fist strike that sounded as if breathing through the sound barrier slamming into Hayato who simply parried them all and nullifying the force release from them. Haruto stepped back, slammed his feet into the ground causing the debris to bounce upward then immediately kicked them towards the elder who crushed them all but the young man used it as a distraction and moved, concealing his presence.

The elder was surprised that he was able to sneak to his defense and was able to find him when he had already closed the distance.

'What a monster, I couldn't sense him for a brief moment. He's almost copying me to the point I mistake myself as him.'

The elder saw the endless potential of the young man who was subconsciously able to blend and connect with his opponent Ki to the point they blend together enough to conceal his presence. He was able to see not only the eyes of a Kure but countless people from the Ryozanpaku grandmaster to shadowy people that he had copied the technique of.

'Without a doubt he is…' Hayato thought before he delivered a fist strike towards Haruto who parried then did a move that made Apachai excited.

"Haruto is using Muay Thai!! Go for it, Haruto!" Apachai cheered in excitement. Miu hoped that this was the end because she couldn't bear seeing him beaten badly.

[ Muay Thai - Sork Klub! ]

A technique in which you draw in an opponent's punch and spin your entire body to lay an elbow strike to the person's head. Haruto had [ Aikido ] and [ Jujutsu ] allowing him to control the Elder center of gravity since he had matched Haruto's level. The elder about to move downward to avoid the attack only for him to use his knee to strike his face.

[ Muay Thai - Tee Kao Trong ]

A Muay Thai technique where the user slams the opponent's head directly into the user's knee the same time the knee rises up. The explosive forces shook the air around them as Haruto gave his all into the single attack where everyone was watched in anticipation only for Hayato manage to block the attack with his other hand as Haruto pushed by the elders Ki still hadn't been able to land a single attack.

"That was impressive, Haruto-kun." The elder said as Haruto looked stoic as he still using his [ Yuuki Style - Konton Kizen Shōkō jōtai ] and won't be able to use it properly if he gets too distracted.

"Why do you fight, Haruto-kun? For what reason do you seek to get stronger? Has the answer become clear to you?" The elder ask always seen Haruto treat fighting like a hobby and lacked the essence of being martial arts. He knows martial arts but does he understand them?

"Why? I don't know but what I know is…." He had no other option since he had used everything yet still hasn't been able to land a direct hit on the Superhuman, Hayato Furinji.

'I'm unsure how this will go but…' Haruto took a stance and held the wrist of his right hand as if it was a sword and everyone felt the air become sharp while his perception slowed down where everything seemed to vanish as the people watching knew this was the last attack to decide who would win.

Haruto finds himself in a serene state of mind where the violent current of the sea slowly and eventually settles undisturbed by anything putting a single goal and flow in his mind. The elder sense that something unexpected is going to happen.

[ Ryuusui Seikuken! ]

He prepared himself for the upcoming attack and waited as the entire area fell silent until Miu prayed for Haruto's victory.

"Haruto, give it your all!!" She cheered for him as they became invested in the fight forgetting it was just a spar. Haruto smiled understanding what he would like to do and gritted his teeth giving everything he got.

[ Sword God style - Longsword of Light! ]

"...I want to win!!" Haruto screamed unsheathing his hand seemed to glow brightly with Ki and vanished from everyone eyes then reappeared behind Hayato who stood and smiled as the young man coughed and started to fall but before he could hit the ground was caught by the elder.

"To think you'll actually put a scratch on me." Hayato showed a small cut on his chest that was akin to a papercut but even still the fact that he landed an attack when the elder was using [ Ryuusui Seikuken ] is an unbelievable feat that only a handful are able to do.

Haruto heard this and smiled with his consciousness fading to black hearing the voices of everyone. He knew his chance was zero but didn't discourage himself and kept pushing. In the end, Haruto grew stronger and more skilled than ever.
