SKYLAND : DISCOVERIES

The chairman explained to us that the Voyageur exam was divided into 4 parts, which he will keep secret for the suspense. He then explained that we already started the exam, when we passed the test earlier, when we raided numerous mystical beasts, when we entered the headquarters, and when entered this room. Hans said that tomorrow is when the first part will start. A hot air balloon will take us somewhere and we will start the exam, which meant that today was a free day.

This means that I could go outside and explore the marvelous Skyland city. The most important thing on my list is... FOOD! I will try to eat as much as I can today! I have heard that Skyland fast food restaurants make the best pancakes, and I love pancakes!

And so, I, Joseph, and Setsuna decided to just stroll in the city, learn about sky lander culture, eat good food and check out famous monuments. We started with, yes! Food! I insisted on eating pancakes first! We went to a restaurant to taste the famous honey pancakes. It is said that the honey was harvested from the Giant bzzs, which are creatures that look like bees, except they're black with red stripes and very big. They can be dangerous if you attack their nest, which is located in the Skyland mountains. Their weak spot is a lullaby, if that lullaby is played they immediately fall asleep. Oh wow, here are the pancakes guys! The honey is red? That's interesting! Let's try some…

"Pretty tastyyyyyy, what do you think guys?"

Setsuna then replied:" I am not a big fan of sweets, but I gotta admit that this honey is unique, and the texture of the pancakes is impeccable, compliments to the cook."

Joseph then said while still chewing pancakes:" Nom nom, yeah bro, this tastes so good, full of carbohydrates and energy!"

Then I ejaculated:" Why lovely! Let's finish our food and go try the famous carnivore fries! These potatoes were harvested from Carnivore indigo plants. It is said that they are the tastiest on the continent!"

Setsuna then looked at me and said:" Sure, but I have a question. How do you know so much about everything?"

Then I replied:" Well, I read this peculiar book called a Nomads Journey. The author is my father. This book contains several pieces of info about many places he visited, info about mystical creatures, foods, and historical monuments!"

Joseph then said:" Your father must be a Viatorum too I guess. What's your family name?"

"Yes, he is a Viatorum, he is quite famous too! Well at least in York Island that is. My family name is Deuce."

Joseph then choked on his food, and looked at me in astonishment, while Setsuna laughed for a second and then said:" Kid, your father is Deuce Douglas, The Unkillable Demon King. He is famous in the Viatorum association, and very well known for his discoveries. He is one of the first ones who visited The Ancient Wonderland and returned in one piece. The road to The Ancient Wonderland is hard, let alone entering The Wonderland itself. Your father is quite amazing, yet mysterious."

" Ooooooooh that's cool, didn't know my father was famous in the Viatorum association. Although I intend to dethrone him, I intend to become even better than him, all I need is time and experience." I said with a joyful tone.

Who would have thought, that my old man was quite capable? I wonder what is his META ability.

"Anyways guys, let's go eat some Carnivore fries, then we will go and visit the best thing about Skyland. The Sky castle, where many people fight and get ranked there! It is said that only the strongest fight there!"

And so, we went to try the carnivore fries in a restaurant down the alley, close to the sky castle. We ate a lot of fries, but believe me they were so tasty, especially the indigo sauce which was made out of the liquids inside the carnivore plant, it is a gourmet dish.

"Now boys, our bellies are full for the moment being, so let us stop eating, and let us check the sky castle."

Joseph and Setsuna agreed on visiting Sky Castle. The Sky Castle is a very huge Castle that resides on a floating island up in the skies, that is why it is called The Sky Castle, I guess. We took a montgolfière to go there. The castle is so huge, and each floor contained an arena where people fought. The system was simple, each time you fight and you win, you can pass to the next floor and so on. The last floor hosts The Champion, the man so-called, The Warlord. This guy has been champion for 5 years, he popped out of nowhere and started winning match after match while climbing in the rank ladders. When he finally reached the last floor, he fought against the ex-champion, Sire'Ulhu the brute. Sire'Ulhu got bodied in that fight, and from that day, he still trains so that he one day could claim back his title. The Warlord's name is unknown to everyone, and so was his face too. He always wore a clown mask, which was ironic. Imagine, a clown being the strongest fighter in the most known tournament in the world.The castle was quite amazing, so me and my friends decided that after The Viatorum exam, we shall join this Castle and become better and stronger fighters. I honestly would love to fight this so called Warlord, and see if he deserves that title…
