CHAPTER 351: Each Of Their Darkness 5

"Look at that, aren't they enjoying themselves? All on their own."

The reflection looked at the scene where Saphira and the other six are laughing all on their own.

"But how about you? Where are you? No where!! You are never part of their group. You are nothing but an outsider whom they can use at their own desire."

It looked back at Felix, who was clenching his hands into fists.

"And what's this? Aren't the two of them enjoying themselves all on their own? Despite you hurting. Aren't they being so lovey dovey in front of you? As if mocking the pain that you are feeling."

It was a scene of Nixon and Stormie smiling towards one another, they were in their own world, a bubble surrounding them.

"After all those time you remained as an outsider. An outsider who even insulted them at the beginning."

Felix clenched his jaw at the reminder of their first meeting.

"So don't bother wishing to go back. They wouldn't even realize that you are gone. There was only seven of them from the get go. An eighth person was never welcomed."

Felix's clenched hands weakly rested on his side, his head drooping, as if giving up on everything.

The reflection approached and placed his arm around Felix's shoulder.

"That's right. You are an existence that didn't matter to them. All their words were simply lies that they are thanking you for being there. You are just an additional person to lessen their work."

Felix's head drooped even more and the darkness envelope him until his head. Just a bit more and he was a lost case.

The reflection grinned triumphantly.

That is until the darkness that should have enveloped him as a whole, was instead sucked in through Felix's chest.

the reflection was stupefied until everything was sucked in and Felix loked up with a smirk.

"That was close. But I guess I gave more help this time."

He looked at the reflection that was looking at him in confusion.

"What? Darkness is the only one who can devour the light? Dream on. It goes the other way around as well."

The reflection couldn't respond at what he was saying.

"And what was that? I am still not part of their group? Don't worry I am well aware of that. No one can defeat the years they all spent together. No one can defeat all the painful experiences the all had together. But I have my own bond with them. Even if it is lacking, it is still a bond that not many could ever have."

He smiled and allowed fire to engulf the reflection, "And if you really are my reflection, then you should be the one who is the most clear in knowing that I am genuinely happy for the two of them. I was hurt but it was never their fault. We all just loved and that's how things work. It is either it is reciprocated or not. If not then go on with your life, you'll find the love that is surely for you."

The reflection slowly burned and the darkness slowly dissipated.

"Our time spent together isn't long or the hardship isn't a lot but it was still a time spent and hardships overcome. It was still a bond meant only for me to have with them. That is my reality."

After that, Felix looked up in the darkness with a smile.

And all of them spoke of the same thing while looking at the darkness as if someone was there watching them.

"Go on and try us more. We will just repeat this over and over again. You can never defeat us."

Ardel was freaking out.

He was not expecting any of this.

He had intended for the darkness that got in them when they stepped inside the imperial prison, to slowly be rooted in their hearts and allow them to be swallowed by it.

So why? Why are all of them getting out of it and even defeating their darkness?

"This is not right, you all should succumb to darkness. You all are nothing but worthless people!!!"

Slowly the seven of them woke up and stood facing him.

"It was only you who will think of that. It is just speculation on our part, but maybe you never tried to accept your own darkness," Hunter spoke.

Some of them was close to succumbing to it but in the end they won and that showed just how strong they are as a person.

Ardel couldn't believe it and was about to lash out when he noticed that Saphira remained unconscious and the darkness continued swirling around her.

He started laughing, "Look at you preaching when she had not woken up at all."

Hunter and the rest glanced at Saphira. They walked over and surrounded her but instead of worry, they all looked calm.

They simply stood guard if ever Ardel were to do something while she was unconscious.

Ardel was confused, he couldn't understand their current standing despite the fact that Saphira may already be slowly being eaten by darkness.

Hunter shook his head, "That look on your face only means you don't understand a single thing about bond. Do you really think that just because she has not woken up, that she was already defeated by the darkness? You are underestimating her too much."

Ardel couldn't understand where their confidence is coming from.

He was far stronger than them. His beast was stronger than theirs so why? Why does it seems like he was the one going to be defeated instead?

"Qirin."

"White Tiger."

"Black Tortoise."

"Azure Dragon."

"Roc."

"Basilisk."

"Phoenix."

Each of them called for their beasts who were trapped inside them when they were inside the darkness.

As compared to when they were taken inside the illusion of Chester where they were left behind.

This time, they were pulled inside their hosts the moment the darkness enveloped them.

And when all of them reappeared, they all looked far more gallant than ever.
