CHAPTER 207: Ease The Burden You Will Be Carrying

The next day, Saphira called for the seven of them regarding the matter she nad Hunter had checked in the palace.

"For now, we can conclude that the former light ability user had been alone," she started.

From that little notebook, they found out that the former user was actually too strong.

Too strong to the point that people are either scared of her or they simply think that they are unworthy of being with her.

She was too strong that she felt so lonely but felt that she needs to keep going no matter what.

She needs to keep going in order to protect the world because she felt like it was her duty to do so.

On this notebook, which could be called as her diary, they found out that she had companions but she felt some barrier towards them as well.

An invisible barrier she couldn't walk over that she still ended up feeling so lonely despite being with them and laughing with them.

In the end, she, Hunter, Qirin and Vermilion Bird, started feeling much stronger that the one on their visions was actually her.

And the other guy, could be one of her companions.

But the way they saw it was different.

It was her who was staying away, no matter how much he approached her, she remained distant.

They also had another vision, there were no words but they saw her shaking her head towards the other person.

The vision was in the point of view of that other person that is why they could see the pained look in her face as she shook her head.

They also ended up feeling what the other person was feeling.

He too was pained.

But until the end, they couldn't see their faces or even hear anything from them.

They were simple visions that are filled with emotions.

At the same time, these visions didn't even show what abilities these people had.

Of course, the part of the vision were kept a secret to the others.

Since they are confused about it, they couldn't have the rest being confused as well.

There is no point making all of them thinking about this for now.

"That's a bit sad, isn't it," Stormie commented.

"Indeed but that is her choice. I am speaking of her history to you not to make you sympathize with her but to understand how things have occured back in their time."

She looked at each of them.

"We are now a group, if you are feeling down or anything, don't bottle it up. Speak to one of us, her loneliness in her diary, don't be in that kind of position. What we are carrying isn't small that is why even just a bit, don't burden yourself even more."

This is what she sincerely felt when she was reading the notebook.

She didn't want them to feel that way because they are already carrying something so heavy.

She can somehow sympathize with the former light ability user, regarding carrying such a heavy burden.

They listened attentively to her and nodded in acknowledgement.

"As for the barrier, it seems we really are in luck, we already have everything that we need to create one."

They stared at her in bewilderment, were they really so lucky as to actually find the hometown of the former light ability and gain the knowledge about the barrier?

Saphira chuckled, "The former light ability user had actually wrote it on her diary."

'If there comes a time that another will have this ability, then let me impart you with a bit of my knowleedge to help ease the burden you will be carrying. Written down is what you need to create a barrier that could defend against demonic beasts and lower dark force.'

Those were the exact words but Saphira and Hunter, even Light were bewildered by the lower dark force that was mentioned.

Their conjecture was simple, there are more that they haven't met.

Which means the war they thought was already in the middle of it all was in fact still starting.

When she had killed Chester, she thought they are close to getting to the end of this.

Who would have thought that there is more.

"For now, I want you to keep strengthening your abilities. And in a week we will start trying it out," she told them.

There is something she wanted to check for a bit.

After the meeting, she and Hunter went out to check what she wanted.

"By the way Stormie, I can seem to vaguely remember that someone had carried me yesterday," Willow asked Stormie.

"Oh, well I was having difficulties with supporting you before arriving here. Good thing was that Raizen arrived and lent his help," Stormie answered.

"Raizen?"

"Yeah, the one you bump into earlier that day. We chanced upon him again during the afternoon," Stormie shrugged.

Willow's face slowly turned red before she covered her face with her hands, "That is so embarrassing."

"It is not like you were at fault for what had happened. Remember we have no idea that there as alcohol on those fruits."

"Still..."

Willow huffed before suddenly pulling Stormie out of that place.

"Hey, I'm still eating," Stormie complained as she could only grab the bread on her plate.

"There's no time for that, we need to roam around town and look for him. I have to thank him properly. If we met him again during the afternoon, it means he is roaming the town," Willow kept pulling her back to the town.

"It seems they are going to look for that guy," Nixon commented.

The three of them has just come down again to eat when they heard the two of them speak.

"..."

"You mad?" Ridge asked seeing Drake keeping silent.

Drake shook his head, "Why?"

Ridge shrugged seeing him nonchalant.

"Well, what are we going to do today?" Nixon asked placing both hands at the back of his head.

"TRain," was all Drake said before entering the eating area.
