While was little socked by emperors killing aura, he never slowed down. He also had many experiences in battle.

But when he wanted to lock the emperor, he seems to be disappeared out of thin air. I saw a shadow crossing me, while I felt a pain in both my legs and hands. But I never cared about it but I suddenly lost control of my body fell down in the steps to the crown. I looked for a reason but the blood coming out of the clean cuts in joints of my body. Fear swept my mind and when looked toward the direction the shadow moved. I felt I lost half of my life because I saw cleanly cut in the neck and decapitated heads of the people who stood with me are rolling towards the steps to the crown by washing the floor red in colour.

I saw the first prince laying in blood with a severed hand and cut on his mouth. Anger swept through me thinking I will kill the person who is responsible for this. Just then I heard a voice.

Are you still arrogant after all this?

This sounds like the sound of a predator towards the prey. When I looked towards the direction of the sound, I saw a figure who held a sword which was washed by red blood with no blood on his dress. When I verified his identity, I blamed myself as an idiot who entered the dragon cave thinking it was a pigs cave. Dragon is always a dragon, even it is a cub.

Because the figure I saw was one person who slaughtered all these people and soldiers occupied the court. The person was EMPEROR – MENG TIAN.

Now the only thing that came to me was begging for life for the emperor.

"I forgot my arrogance, I forgot my pride, I forgot my achievements, I forgot my love will I still be left alive!".

I regret all decision I took against the emperor, that traitorous daughter she betrayed my trust in her by giving wrong information about the emperor.

Yes, that idiotic queen who only know how to be a devil, I should never have allowed her to become the emperor's wife. That was the first wrong step I took in my life, allowing an idiot to enter the harem of the emperor. While being arrogant thinking she knows all, because of that I am in this state of near-death, losing all the reputation I built as loyal general was crumbled in one wrong step. If I chance to reborn on the day where I took my first wrong step due to greed and followed the emperor with a loyal follower, I could have taken a place near his majesty in the history of Meng. Now everything was I built was lost.

With grief, the Great general Lu Su whose heart was stained by greed died of a heart attack while coughing blood in the feet of Emperor Meng Tian.

Authors Note: Writing one reincarnation story is already hard. He wants another chance by rebirth. Good grief. If everyone got the chance there will be no spicy life.
