Chapter 8: Epilogue

"Hey dad…" Hitoshi had greeted as Aizawa stood in his doorway, ready to start taking the packed boxes downstairs as Present Mic searched for a parking spot among the chaos of the students moving out en masse at the end of the semester.

"Hi Hitoshi. We've missed you," Aizawa said, pulling his son in for a hug before he went back to taping up the last few boxes that he had just finished packing that morning.

"Hi Mr. Aizawa!" Denki had greeted from the open doorway, bounding in without being invited.

Out of habit, he had rushed over to Hitoshi and greeted him with a peck on the lips before turning to pick up a box. Hitoshi and Neito had already helped him load up his own car, so the least he could do was help Hitoshi and his dads load up for the trip home.

Denki was gone as quickly as he arrived, and Aizawa met Hitoshi with a level stare. Hitoshi's own eyes wandered around as he decided on a course of attack.

Acting oblivious was always the best option, no?

Hitoshi knew he should have told his dads about his dating situation, but he never found the right time. Hitoshi figured it would be best to just show them, maybe? In hindsight, it was not a good idea, but it was the only plan he had (because it was the only plan that put off telling them for as long as possible), so he was going with it.

"What did I tell you about dating a loud blonde?" Aizawa deadpanned, subtly out the window. "So, that's the boyfriend you've been gushing about, but wouldn't tell me who?"

Before Hitoshi had to answer though, Neito came waltzing in through the door. Neito gave Aizawa a cursory nod of acknowledgement before grabbing his jacket that he had left draped on the back of Hitoshi's computer chair.

"Denki is showing your dad where the best place to park is, then they'll be up to grab some stuff," Neito had informed Hitoshi.

Neito had grabbed two stacked boxes to take on the way down and whisked out the door, but not before pulling Hitoshi in for a kiss, and licking his lips after pulling away, and winking at him as he left.

Aizawa stood there, dumbstruck, while Hitoshi touched his lips, unwillingly blushing at Neito's suggestive look before going to help load up the car.

Before Aizawa could question his purple-haired, blushing son, Present Mic arrived in the doorway and loudly announced his presence.

"Denki knows the best parking spots and short cuts on campus," Present Mic had announced, a spring in his step as he entered the dorm room after knowing that he wasn't going to have to tote boxes back and forth for miles.

"What an unexpected couple, though!" Present Mic had declared, as he reached down to grab a box.

"What?" Aizawa had snorted, "Denki or Monoma?"

But Present Mic misunderstood, "Yeah! I never imagined those two getting along so well, let alone dating!"

Aizawa stood still, taking in the new information on top of what he had already witnessed, and glancing at his son, who decided to continue putting of the conversation by engaging Mic in conversation.

"Neito said that Denki would be coming back with you," he said, blatantly ignoring Aizawa's glare.

"Neito had dropped a box in the stairway, and Denki had offered to help him. Imagine my surprise when Neito had threw out a casual 'thanks, babe,' kissed him, and took off to show him the way," Mic had explained, waving his arms dramatically as he retold the story.

After Neito's departure a minute earlier, Hitoshi wasn't surprised that Neito was in one of his feisty, flirty moods.

"Which box did he drop?" Hitoshi groaned, "I hope it wasn't anything breakable."

"It didn't sound like anything broke," Mic said before pausing. "Wait! He had your boxes?"

Shit.

"Uh… yeah… so, you see…" Hitoshi had started.

"Spit it out," Aizawa had demanded.

"You said, dad, that I couldn't date a loud blonde," Hitoshi started, the smirk slowly growing on his face. "You said nothing about dating two loud blondes."

Aizawa had facepalmed and Mic laughed boisterously.

"They're both dating you as well?!" Mic had yelled out, slapping Hitoshi on the back in encouragement to Aizawa's chagrin.

"They're the best thing that's ever happened to me," Hitoshi admitted, cheeks darkening.

"Awwww! Hear that Neito? He loves us! How embarrassing!" Denki teased from the doorway, arm slung over Neito's shoulders as Neito leaned against him, with a similar teasing smile thrown in Hitoshi's direction.

"So embarrassing," Hitoshi had agreed, laughing and meeting his boyfriends in the doorway, greeting each with a chaste kiss.

Aizawa didn't have to think hard to know that another loud blonde must have played a part in this, thinking back to his former explosive student's relationship with his former redhead student and his former accident-prone student. But Hitoshi looked so happy and relaxed, that he couldn't exactly call Bakugou a bad influence, though an influence, nonetheless.

"We're going to need a bigger dining room table," Aizawa had announced, to the surprise of the three boyfriends huddled in the doorway. "Enough room for three families to gather for the holidays."
