Crossroads

We left for the South, going the whole way by flying, since the ocean was like land for us due to Neptulon's blessing, we didn't have much trouble, just one or two sea monsters who felt threatened by us and came looking for trouble, they weren't exactly small fry, but our current strength was not something those territorial sea monsters of shallow waters could deal with.

They had a nice flavour, even without being able to cook them in the water we still found them good tasting as sushi.

We came through the coast of Westfall, the western region of the kingdom of Stormwind, it was the rural area, full of farms and common folk.

We stood out a bit with our cloaks and hoods but not enough were someone would chase us for it.

The Westfall region seemed to be recovering from the war nicely, they seemed to be enthusiastic and full of hope for their future. I personally knew this wouldn't last long due to the current internal situation of the government... Onyxia was acting as Lady Prestor to cause social strife and weaken the kingdom from inside.

I couldn't do much about it at the moment, Onyxia was stronger than the black dragon we almost died to in the sea and the one who we ambushed in Lordaeron.

Also if the daughter of Deathwing suddenly died, the Black Dragonflight would not leave me be... it was one thing to a be a fugitive, another to be a threat.

-----

We walked quite a ways into the kingdom, we followed the road to the capital, intending to reach the city of Goldshire who was a few hours away from Stormwind City.

Along the way we found a band of gnolls, these gnolls were bigger than usual, some of them had the size of an orc, the biggest of them had the size of a small ogre.

I had an inkling suspicion of the identity of that gnoll... its hard to forget the infamous Hogger.

Hogger was famous as the most dificult low level boss to defeat, he made a mountain of bones under him and a throne of the many salty tears those who fought against him shed.

Gnolls don't seem that big a threat nowadays but that was due to their stupidity and lack of unity... once the kingdom of Stormwind was almost toppled by a great gnoll invasion of a gnoll who managed to unify their tribes.

The day the gnoll king died was the very same day that the gnolls began to kill each other again for the most stupid reasons such as one wanting to eat more meat than the other.

This gnoll before me had the potential to the next uniter of the gnolls... too bad he met us.

The fight started with me knocking them to the ground, making a slow area and empowering Selia.

Selia now feeling the power flowing through her utilized Time Acceleration to cast a big destructive ice horizontal blade, which killed every gnoll other then Hogger and his two bigger bodyguards.

They couldn't even respond before all their ambush party was dead! Even after slowly getting back on their feet they couldn't even respond before a breath of corrosive acid consumed them. This was the end of Hogger.

------

Inside Goldshire Inn stood a tauren and a druid, sharing the same bed somehow, Trag had just opened his eyes and the last thing he remembered was wanting to drink for a bit because he was sick of waiting for Theo and Selia.

He realized that they both were naked under the sheets and said quietly, "Dear Earthmother, what have I done..." He started to panic, not having a clue of what to do.

She woke briefly in his arms, turned to him and put her arms around his neck, and nestled her head in his shoulder to sleep better.

If they being naked in a bed didn't make him suspicious, now he had confirmation that he trully did something last night... he decided he should that responsibility, even if he had no clue how to do so...

As for Emmarel, she was meeting with one of her rangers, giving orders to look into the new suspicious Royal Councillor, Lady Katrina Prestor... She had appeared out of no where and according to Theo she was a Black Dragon. Of course she needed first to ensure his information was trustworthy, she would not kill an innocent no matter if Theo was her friend or not.

She had let her second in command take over many of the operations and the surveillance over the north kingdoms, but she still used this opportunity to do some work.

She had heard reports of how even with many raids being done on the Redridge Mountains region the kingdom still didn't send troops, she found this very suspicious especially after seeing the number of troops present in the Burning Steppes along the way to Goldshire.

They had spent around three weeks here already, she had joined Theo's party because of his identity as a dragon, hoping he could convince other dragons to come out of seclusion and help the mortal races, in the last war the dragons were used as weapons of war instead of the noble guardians they should have been... It would be great to have the Dragonflight's help once more.

She remembered the days when seeing dragons was common, where they would hunt demons, heal forests and even teach good hearted people... they didn't do much after the War of the Ancients, only in the most dire of times would they act, she was there in the War of Shifting Sands, when the Night Elves and dragons fought against the the Silithid, a insectoid race that would swarm, kill and consume everything in their way... It was a costly war also, but also proved how valuable the aid of dragons could be.

She felt that the two little drakes could help as ambassadors in the future, dragons who lived amongst mortals and cherished them... they were trullt unique among their kind... They could maybe make a difference.

While she was thinking of how she was improving the duo's perception of the mortal races she began to feel like her help was unneeded, they already liked living and experiencing life as mortals and after her serious chat with Theo about the future and the dangers coming she no longer felt like she needed to stay around.

In fact after seeing both Trag and Mona get together into a room last night she began to miss Henry even more... she wanted to find him.
