Twisted World: The Time Lord's Diary

It was just a regular day in the modern era before everything changed. Monsters that should only exist in myths came into existence one by one seemingly out of thin air. The terrain which was previously filled with man-made buildings became obsolete and replaced by ones made by nature. It was the beginning of a new era. One of the survival of the fittest. Humans previously at the top of the food chain are at the bottom now. In the midst of this chaos, one man stood at the side and simply observed. Join him on his journey as he explores this complex world. Absolute Power

Spring-Autumn was falling from the sky. A bloody cleaver in one hand, and an unconscious woman in another. Winter was waiting below with his sword ready. His gaze was complicated. His mind drifted back to a conversation he had with Shadow several nights before.

"This is my condition," Shadow said slowly. He was seated across from Winter.

Winter sat on his leather couch and thought long and hard.

"My brother for your cooperation," Winter repeated.

"You just need to help me capture him,"

Winter closed his eyes and said resolutely, "Fine. Let's do it,"

Back to the present.

Spring-Autumn continued to fall from the sky. Various spells honed in on him. It would be certain death for anyone if they were struck with the spells!

Now that Winter had officially come out, his men naturally followed. The range ability [Users] that were on top of the wall added in their share of spells.

Boom!

Smoke filled the sky. No one could see anything but a faint shadow falling from the sky.

Thud!

There was a loud sound of Spring-Autumn falling to the ground but no one could see anything. The smoke and steam generated from water and fire spells were too much.

Everyone fell silent.

"Did we do it?" A fire-ability user muttered.

There was no sound or movement from within the smoke.

"W-we did it?" Someone said joyfully.

"We took down the monster!"

"Yeah!" Cheers broke out from everyone who remained standing.

The smoke dissipated slowly. The cheers came to an abrupt halt.

A tall silhouette could be seen in the fading smoke.

A wave of confusion spread through the crowd. The silhouette… was not of Spring-Autumn.

Or was it?

The smoke completely cleared and the identity behind the silhouette was exposed.

He stood tall. His hair was gray like an old man's and messy like he just woke up. His face was young in contrast to his gray hair that made one think of an old man, looking to be around his thirties. His eye was green and bright like an emerald gem. To top it off, he was wearing a set of blue pajamas and he stood barefooted. From looking at his face, one could spot similarities with Spring-Autumn who was just shot down from the sky. Who was this man!?

The mysterious man scratched his head and looked around. His gaze landing on Shadow and Winter.

Winter was closest to this man right now. An unknown sense of danger assaulted his heart, causing him to grip his [Suppression Sword] tightly.

The man continued to look around before finally settling his eyes on the unconscious Rainmist. She was unharmed but her clothes were dirtied from all the smoke.

He suddenly laughed. "Hahaha, what a surprise to see so many familiar faces,"

Shadow went on all fours at his words. He had never sensed this much danger from anyone before!

"Who are you!?" Winter asked.

"Oh my. Mr. Hero can't recognize me?" The man laughed at Winter's words. "Two heroes trying to kill me. I remember this,"

The man mumbled words that no one at the scene could understand. His eyes were filled with nostalgia.

"I had such a hard time getting out of this alive back then," The man said. A warm smile appearing on his face.

The more Winter looked at the man, the more familiar he seemed. The mannerism. The appearance.

"You are… Spring-Autumn?"

"Bingo!"

The man was Spring-Autumn from many years into the future!

The [Attribute Cloak] that was laying on the floor suddenly became alive like a snake and coiled itself around Spring-Autumn's arm.

"It's time for you all to die," He said with a warm smile.

Just as Spring-Autumn finished his words, Shadow was already on him.

"Don't be in such a hurry, Mr. Dog Hero," Spring-Autumn did not spare the man a glance and casually kicked him like he was kicking a rock.

The little kick knocked Shadow so far back he flew into the wall! A deep dent was left into the city wall in the shape of a werewolf. Shadow coughed up blood with an incredulous gaze before fainting on the spot.

"The time is not right for you to die," Spring-Autumn said simply before appearing in front of Winter like a shadow. "The same goes for you,"

Winter had no time to react against Spring-Autumn whose power had reached an unfathomable level. Spring-Autumn lifted his hand against Winter's forehead and gave a simple flick.

Just like what happened with Shadow, Winter flew back like a bullet and his body was lodged against the city wall. Blood seeped out of his mouth and ears before he fainted.

"The rest of you can die now. You are all of no importance," Spring-Autumn turned his smiling face to the rest of the petrified crowd.

Spring-Autumn's attack on Shadow and Winter only took a few seconds. The crowd simply couldn't react in time. With his attention on them, they broke out of their daze.

"Attack him! Kill him!" The ones that did not have a projectile-type ability yelled crazily at the ones that did.

Immediately, a myriad of spells honed its way to Spring-Autumn. To this, Spring-Autumn gave a silly laugh and waved his hand.

Every spell that was in the air immediately began disintegrating. Time waited for no one.

Spring-Autumn then raised his hand up. [Attribute Cloak] began transforming into the shape of a bow.

[Attribute Cloak: Bow Form]

"It's been a while since I've used this," Spring-Autumn chuckled to himself.

The sky began to darken when he pulled down the bow. No one knew where he was aiming because his bow was pointed at the sky!

The [Users] were shocked that their attacks disintegrated into nothingness but they could not wait for Spring-Autumn to finish his attack.

Unfortunately, it was too late on them. Spring-Autumn released his bow spring and the sky went back to its normal color. Hundreds of arrows shot out of the bow and honed its way to every individual outside the wall.

No one could dodge this arrow. As soon as this arrow lodged itself to their body, they immediately began to age at a visible rate. From a young person, to a middle aged person, to an old person, to a corpse, and finally, to dust.

"No!" Screams of despair leaked out of the lips of those who were struck by the arrow.

In the blink of an eye, everyone outside the city wall was dead. The spells that were making way to him disintegrated and there was only silence.

Spring-Autumn patted some dust off his pajama and lifted Rainmist off the ground before tossing her on his shoulder like a potato sack. He turned his head to the top of the city wall to the people who he spared.

"You all still have to protect the city. Do your job well," He said it softly but those at the top of the city wall were able to hear it perfectly.

Their knees finally buckled and they could not contain their bladder. There was only fear in their mind. Yellow fluids seeped out of their pants before they fainted at the top of the city wall.

Spring-Autumn gave one last look at the city before walking off into the grassy field with Rainmist tossed over his shoulder. It was unknown where he would go.

He didn't go back to the past like some of you predicted but I hope this satisfies you my dear readers.

I'm finally getting new readers again after losing readers for like 2 weeks straight(lol). A sincere thank you from myself to those who remained and supported me so far. I truly appreciate it.

With this, our second arc, "Diamond City" comes to an end. I'm still debating on how I should begin the next arc. I will be taking a 2 day break over the weekend once again to let my wrists rest. And once again, thank you all for your continued support.
