FIRST DAY AT WORK

Ashley got down from the bus and entered the large building in front of her, when a person walked up to her and said

" Are you miss Ashley Smith"

" Yes, I am " " come with me" said the person, when they reached the reception the person stopped and said

" Hi my name is Carey James, I'm the supervisor of this branch and I will be telling you about your duties, but first put this on" Carey handed her a pair of face mask

" Why do I have to wear this?" Ashley said looking at the facemask with a shocked expression on her face

" You will be meeting a lot of people who you don't know the kind of disease they are carrying and I don't want what happened to the last receptionist to happen again " retorted Carey .

Carey carefully explained to Ashley all her duties when she was about to leave she suddenly remembered something

" Oh Ashley I forgot to tell you something, you are not allowed for any reason to take off your facemask while at work, understood? "

"Why not" Ashley retorted

" It's office protocol, no one is allowed to take off their facemask while at work except the General manager and Supervisor " Carey said as she left the reception

Back at Wayne enterprises HQ, Alex and Ashton walked into the office

" Hey Alexa" Alex said as he went and hugged her

Alexa and the twins have been friends for as long as she remembers, their father Michael Stark owns Stark enterprises a company that specializes in technology and is the second most powerful company in the world, the first being Wayne enterprises . Michael and Alexa's father Daniel were best friends, so when he died Michael helped Wayne enterprises a lot hence he has a share in the company which has now been divided for his two sons

"Why did you come, any problem?" Alexa said

" Yes, there is some bad news " Alex said as he handed over the papers he was holding

"What is this supposed to mean? spill it out!" she said as she went through the papers

" Do you know the branch of Wayne enterprises at NYC, we checked it financial report and there is something wrong"

"What's wrong " John interrupted

" Sir, someone took a million dollars from the company's account without anyone consent" Ashton retorted

" So you mean there is a fraud in the company?" John asked

" Yes sir" Alex retorted

"Anna get your a** in here right now!" Alexa shouted as she stood up

Anna walked in, scared that she might have done something wrong, she didn't dare to look her boss in the eye

" Anna call my pilot, tell him to get ready we are going to NYC ASAP and you two are coming with me " she said as she stormed off and banged the door

Everyone was shocked by what Alexa said, soon afterwards Anna left and the twins followed suit leaving only John inside the office

" I left you to take care of the company but see what you did " he muttered to himself as he left the office.
