TWENTY YEARS LATER

"Good morning mom" Ashley said while running down the stairs

" Where are you going in such a hurry this morning " Jane retorted

"To work, I got a job working as a receptionist at Wayne enterprise"

" Wow and you didn't tell me" Jane said as she gestured Ashley to sit down for breakfast

" Sorry mom I didn't want to tell you until I was sure I would get the job" Ashley retorted as she sat down to eat

" Mom where is dad, isn't he joining us for breakfast today?"

" Dear, your dad is asleep and I didn't want to wake him" retorted Jane

"okay" Ashley replied as she continued to eat her breakfast

A few minutes passed by and Ashley checked her phone to see what the time was

" Oh my God, I'm going to be late " she said as she stood up and carried her bag

" Good bye mom" not waiting for her mother's response she opened the door and left

In Wayne enterprise headquarters California two people were in a fierce argument, one an old man with gray hair who is wearing a black suit and trousers, while the other a beautiful white lady with long curly black hair, she wore a black suit with an inner white shirt and black trousers

" Uncle I told you, I'm not going to apologize to that ungrateful idiot " she said while pacing up and down, you could see how furious she is just by looking at her face

" Alexa please you know that his dad is one of the major shareholders of Wayne enterprises, I still can't believe you talked to him like that"

" Uncle John just please don't make me angry than I am right now! Why would I apologize to that spoilt good for nothing.... " she was interrupted by a knock on the door

" Come in " Alexa said in a harsh tone

"Miss Alexa, Mr Alex and Mr Ashton are here to see you" Anna her secretary said

" Tell them to come in" Alexa said as she sat down on one of the chairs

Anna left and close the door behind her, she sighed out of relief, she knew her boss is angry and didn't want to get shouted at .
