Trying To Take My Mask Off

My dream came true but I'm not happy. I became a legend in the entertainment world, and everybody knows me. But I sacrificed too much to stand here. I don't even know myself anymore. If you ask me what my biggest regrets are. It is that I don't know myself anymore, that I don't feel what I used to feel, that I don't know what makes me happy, that I'm now almost like a robot. It would be nice if I could change myself. If I could just turn back the time or go to another world, it doesn't matter what, if I could do it I would. And then I would change myself and search for what I want and become a person again. The girl smiled and said: "I'll give you a change." [Will you take this change and change yourself or will you stay the same? I really hope you'll change and be happy this time.] ---------------------------------------------- A boy who achieved his dream but felt alone met a girl who gave him a second chance. Will he be happy this life? ____________________________________________ THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW: English is not the language that I speak normally. Examen like test

35_Examen like test

After the shock, they began to focus on the examen like test. Like Iyan told them, the subject of this test is math. Some questions were multiple choice answers while others where you needed to give a definition. But most of the time it was an exercise where you needed to calculate a whole exercise.

Some things were from what they saw this one month like Euclidean division with polynomials, but there were also exercises about things they saw in the past like Pythagoras.

In other words, it was just a lot of things mixed together from geometry to arithmetic.

While not everyone had it easy some didn't have a lot of difficulty making the test. One of them would be Lucius. He really did study the things they saw the years before. Not only because of his siter's warning, but also because he forgot a lot of things after he didn't go back to school. It did go well, but it still didn't go great. He knew some answers and sometimes he didn't know the answer.

But in the end, Lucius things he did good enough for someone who didn't go to school in a long time.

*RING* *RING*

The bell rang to announce that the break started, but also to announce that the test will be finished now.

Some were still trying to write something fast when they heard the bell ring while others were ready to give it back to the teacher. The question is, did they all finish, or did they just give up?

Although some students wanted to work on it further, they were stopped by the one who gave it to them.

"Put your pens down. Who still writes something down will get a zero."

Iyan went around to collect the test, and nobody dared to go against his words. They were for sure that he really would hand out zeros if they even draw one line down.

"Good work everyone! I hope you'll have a nice break!"

With that sentence he walked away happily with the now filled out tests.

"I told you he was plotting something.", Ryuu said while looking at Lucius and his friend, Erebus.

There break began but no one had the energy to do anything when they were thinking about the not announced test. It made them really depressed that they should had learned in that free hour they got.

"What was the answer to question 7.", someone suddenly asked aloud.

After the first question, other questions came. They all were happy when they knew their answer were correct while others began to feel mad that they didn't come up with that.

"How did your test go?", Lucius asked.

"Good, I guess. And yours?", Erebus asked with a carefree voice.

"I didn't know everything, but I think it went good.", Lucius said with an unsure voice.

"Mine went really bad.", Ryuu suddenly told them.

"I didn't understand the questions at all. I tried to improvise everything. But you know that it is hard to improvise in math."

Even when saying how bad his test went, it didn't seem like it bothered him. It seemed like he was used that things didn't go his way.

"Stop trying to act tough. I know you are sad that it didn't go well."

The carefree gestures of Ryuu were in reality just a cover to hide how nervous he really was. After, hearing what Erebus said he couldn't help but begin to murmur about the answer of the test.

"The first multiple answer was c, right? I mean I tried to solve it, but my answer wasn't one of the choices, so I chose what the closed by of my answer was. The last answer was a circle, right? …"

Once he opened his mouth he didn't stop talking. It was like a dam broke and no one could stop it. Or so they thought.

"Shut up. You're as annoying as ever."

His ramble was heard by Narcys who was just chilling, and it seemed he had enough of Ryuu's stupid rambling.

"I'll tell you the first answer was a and not c. I don't know were you thought that the answer was a circle when it wasn't even a choice. It seems that your as stupid as ever."

Hearing Narcys talk made Ryuu stop his talking. It seems like he didn't want to fight with Narcys, so he just closed his mind and looked to the ground, ignoring what Narcys said.

Before the silence could consume them, Lucius's childhood friends came inside.

"Did you guys also make an examen like test of math?", Eira asked curiously.

"Yeah, we did. It seems like you guys also made them. Did it go well?", Erebus replied to her answer.

"I think it went good.", Kai said with a calm voice.

"It was okay, I guess.", Eira said after Kai.

"Why?", Ryuu said quietly.

"Why?!", he said this time louder.

"You betrayer!", he screamed at Eira while pointing with his index finger at her.

Everyone just got confused at his reaction. They didn't understand where his sudden outburst came from and his accusation of Eira's betraying.

"Why did it go well?!"

This time they were just getting weirder out by him.

"They always call you stupid, so why did it go well with you and not with me! That's so not fair!"

With this they finally understood what he was talking about. But they couldn't help but start laughing hearing what he said.

"I'm sorry, it went well.", Eira said while she still was laughing.

"I'm sorry for you that your stupid.", she continued.

They laughed and teased Ryuu until the bell rang once again announcing that class will be almost start.

Hello dear readers!

Are you surprised for this extra chapter because I am. I was like why not and decided to write again today.

I was too lazy to post it in Author's Thought, so yeah, don't mind it, I guess.

I wanted to thank Mack_an_Cheese for the power stone yesterday! I was really happy!

Just wanting to tell you something. I'm thinking to write another novel. I already had like two ideas for a while, but I'm not sure which to write first. I'll definitely going to write them both, but I already have my hand full of only this novel, so I'm thinking to begin to write for one while going to write the other one later. This time I'll be going to think really hard what I'm going to write than going to start publishing like this one. Of course, I'll still update this one. Don't worry!

If you want, you can help me choosing. You will find which one I want to write on my Instagram. One name is My Soul Mark while the other is I'll Change. You'll find the synopsis on Instagram too. If you like one you can like the post or just comment here or there. You can even DM me if you want. If someone, does it, I'll try to write that novel when the vacation come. I'm not sure when it will be released, but it definitely will happen.

See you in the next chapter!
