34_Surprise

"Good luck."

This was the sentence that haunted Lucius when he went to school.

Somehow his siter was studying like crazy when most of the time she is lazy as you can be. Not only that, but she also kept on saying how he needed to study more and shouldn't be that relaxed. Thinking about it, Lucius realized that his sister always studies like crazy at the end of a month, even when there is no examens. He is sure that the examens are in December and June, but now he isn't as sure anymore.

And this sentence didn't make it any better, it only made him even more nervous than he already was. If it weren't because Kai said that the examens weren't this month, I really would have believed it was. But it still made me uneasy and uncomfortable that he didn't know what his sister meant.

*RING* *RING*

The bell rang and Lucius sat at his seat waiting for the class to start. He still felt weird about what Luna said but seeing everyone in class being normal he ignored it and just patiently waited for the teacher to arrive.

The door opened and their homeroom teacher came in. Everyone was surprised because they shouldn't have his class now, but before they could doubt further, he started talking.

"I believe everyone here is surprised seeing me here when I shouldn't be here to begin with. I came to tell that class will start after the break and you'll have this hour to study or do anything else you want excluding the things that are forbidden at school."

Hearing him made them only confused, but they didn't mind that class would begin later. Instead, they were even happy and were already thinking what they could do. There wasn't really anyone that would really study, right?

"I hope you'll have a nice day.", Iyan said with a smile that Lucius really didn't like.

When he stopped talking the students began to talk among themselves. There really wasn't anyone that studied. Some did try but, in the end, they gave up studying and began to socialize with the rest.

Iyan was still in class looking at everyone with the same smile that made Lucius uneasy. When his eyes met Lucius eyes, he gave him a knowing look. Like he knew what he felt right at this moment, but before he could ask the teacher, he walked out the classroom.

"Something wrong?", a voice asked beside him.

He turned to his neighbor and gave him a weak smile.

"I'm fine. It's just…I just thought that this is really weird."

"I totally understand!", Ryuu said with his loud voice.

"And that smile of his didn't make it better.", Erebus added.

It seemed that not only Lucius noticed how weirdly Iyan smiled.

"It's really weird he gave us free time. I just know he is plotting something!", Ryuu said with full confidence.

"I know, he'll come back but with a bag full of guns in his hands. He'll give everyone one and say that you could only live if you'll kill someone or maybe only the last one will survive.", he continued with the same confidence.

After hearing him out for a bit, Erebus just couldn't help but sigh at what he heard.

"You really should become a writer with how much fantasy and nonsense there is in your head."

Even when his voice was full of sarcasm, Ryuu didn't notice it and honestly thought he was praising him.

"You think so.", he said with a blush that showed he was shy.

Erebus only gave him a look telling him he really is the stupidest person on earth, but of course Ryuu didn't notice it or maybe he just ignored it because he still acted bashful.

"Why do you think Iyan would do that?", Lucius said suddenly to the bashful Ryuu.

At hearing his question Ryuu gave him a look showing that he thought that he really was stupid.

"Of course, it's because his in the mafia, yakuza, gang or whatever you want to call it."

Lucius just looked really confused at the boy who said that nonsense.

"You never noticed how evil he is! He obviously is a boss of a gang!", he continued with that same confident voice.

"I just know it. He is the devil who accidentally got born here."

"Just shut up.", Erebus said with an annoyed voice.

"What are you going to do.", he said to Lucius while ignoring the boy who was now whining about how mean he was and etcetera.

"I think I'll be studying for a while, and you?"

"I'll think I'll do that too.", Erebus answered.

"Why?", an upset voice asked.

"I don't want to study!"

"Then don't study!", Erebus snapped at the annoying big guy.

Maybe Ryuu git scared or maybe he had another reason, but he just sat back down and began to study even when he really didn't want to.

With that everyone was busy doing what they wanted. Some studying like Lucius while some just talked about random things and of course, one was laying on their desk as usual.

*RING* *RING*

The bell rang announcing that the first class was over. No one really stopped talking even when hearing the bell. Iyan did say that class would begin after their break, so they would have another free hour.

Or so they thought.

*SWISH*

The door opened with a loud swing and Iyan once again came in, but this time there was something in his hands.

He looked at everyone with a bright smile.

"I hope you guys enjoyed your first hour. Like I said class will only start after this hour, so there won't be any class now."

Everyone cheered at having yet another class canceled, but it disappeared fast when they heard their teacher talk further.

"Because you'll be making an examen like test now for an hour straight. The subject this month is math."

They all were shocked hearing what he said. Some even thought he joked, but they knew he wasn't joking.

"Everyone put your desk that you moved in the original form.", he talked further with the same bright smile on his face while looking at the students putting the desks in neat lines.

When Iyan began to hand out the examen like test to the students who were still shocked he heard a mumble in front of him.

"I knew he was plotting something, but this is worse than I expected."

Now he did know what that sentence meant from his sister.
